Borgina's laughter was interrupted by the sudden change in Nathan's expression.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

Nathan stared at his computer screen in disbelief. It took about thirty seconds for him to manage a reply.

"I can't believe it."

Borgina read the document on the screen. She knew exactly what it meant and why it affected Nathan that way.

"That blasted idiot caused the death of everyone I hold dear." He lashed out.

"I'm sorry, Nathan. I would never have guessed." She consoled him.

"Who destroys an entire planet just to become an authoritarian leader?" Nathan was clearly shocked.

Borgina kept silent and allowed him vent. He needed it. Anyone in his situation would react that way to the information he just found out.

"What? No... I'm going to make him pay. How could he? He killed everyone... Oh my God... Brooke..."

Nathan lost it and allowed the tears flow down in a steady stream. His outburst infuriated Borgina. She concluded what she had always suspected. Human men were impossible to understand. He had spent all this time trying to figure out what was going on with MoonEx. He finally does and instead of celebrating his ingenuity, he's breaking down over Brooke. Who does that? Why couldn't he just forget the damn girl?

Right outside the apartment, two driverless Rovers lost their connection to the control center and collided into each other. The force of the impact pushed both machines towards an adjacent building, causing a vibration that could be felt from within Nathan's apartment.

Nathan ran outside to see the cause of the vibration, giving Borgina the chance to reveal her true reaction. She brought her hands up towards her head and spread her fingers wide apart. Her mouth opened in the gesture of an angry scream but there was no sound. She couldn't afford for Nathan to hear her frustration. It would ruin the hard work she had put in up until this stage and she couldn't have that.
