*Addison Carter POV*

I had no idea what was going through Marco's head, but apparently he was so desperate to marry me he moved the wedding forward.

Giulia had just gotten off the phone and told me, now I had to buy a veil to match my dress and a garter.

Marco would have to pull it off once we're married and throw it to his single friends. The man who caught it would put it onto the leg of the woman who caught my bouquet.

It was very interesting to hear about how the wedding would play out. Especially since we brought it forward six months earlier than we originally planned.

It would still be the greatest day of my life, either way.

I was so excited. I was getting married in two days.

Not many 22 year olds were getting married this early, but I didn't care. As long as the man I loved was standing at the altar, waiting for me.

"How about this one?" Giulia asked. She held up a white lace garter with little dangling flowers on it.

"I love it, what about a veil?" I questioned, glancing around the store.

She walked over to a stack of veils and pulled one out at random. "How about this?" It was long and slightly frayed at the end.

"Fantastic! Let's go. Fabian's getting crabby" Fabian was on my hip, whining and waving his arms frantically. I think it's nap time.

"Come on baby, we're going home now" I whispered, kissing his head. He cuddled into my neck and whined again.

We paid for the veil and garter and made our way to the car, driving home to the house. Marco's father was already there and I was curious about meeting him.

I didn't know much about him, all I knew was that he had a dog and he was totally in love with Fabian. Marco or Giulia probably told me his name once, but I can't recall it.

We pulled up in front of Marco's house and walked inside. Marco and his father were sat in the lounge room watching the horse races.

They both stood up as we entered and Marco's father stepped forward. He shook my hand firmly and kissed my cheek.

"Addison, lovely to meet you. I'm Caprice, Marco's father" He smiled warmly at me. What an interesting name.

"Nice to meet you Caprice" I smiled back at him. "Oh, please" He waved his hand, "Call me dad"

I smiled at him and Fabian whined. Caprice looked at Fabian and grinned. "May I?" He asked. "Of course" I handed Fabian over to his grandfather.

"Hey little guy, what have you been up to?" He cooed at him. I turned around to Marco and smiled at him. He smiled back at me almost hesitantly.

"How was your day?" He asked. "Good, we got the wedding shopping over with. And I found the perfect dress" I grinned at him.

He didn't share my excitement though and frowned at me. "I hope it wasn't too expensive" His words shocked me. He didn't care how much anything costs.

"What?" I asked, stunned. "Are you alright?" I asked. He stared at me silently, then turned and left into the kitchen.

"Don't worry. He's a little bit upset he lost one of the races, a few thousand dollars" Caprice said, laughing.

"Did you notice him acting a bit strange?" I asked.

"Well yes, just a bit. But I thought it had something to do with the races" Caprice admitted. He put Fabian down on the floor and walked into the kitchen after Marco.

"Maybe he's just stressed about the wedding" I told Giulia.

She smiled sympathetically, "Leave it to Caprice, he knows how to deal with these sorts of things"

"Okay, but I'm just worried about him. He's been acting so strange and he sometimes seems a bit...off" I admit.

"Relax, Addison. Caprice will handle it. In the mean time, we have a wedding to plan. Let's go organize the food for the dinner" Giulia took my hand and guided me to the dining room.

I didn't really know what to do with Marco. I was very concerned and I am starting to consider making an appointment with a psychologist.

He needs help. I'm just not sure what he needs help with.
