The weeks went by, and Millie was still asleep in her bed. Her brothers were worried sick, afraid she would never wake up again after her trip to Hell. Castiel was trying every day to get anything out of the sleeping girl. Bobby and Carson were looking into every lore and history they could get their hands on, trying to figure out what was happening to Millie.

Castiel was seated next to Millie's bed, a hand on hers, trying to sense anything so he might be able to get through to her. He had tried to get into Millie's brain, with the permission of her brothers, to see if he could get in touch with her, but nothing. He kept seeing her memories, memories that were once happy, but they had been turned into cruel memories with no happiness left in them. Castiel was worried about the consequence this would have for the girl in front of him. He placed his hand on her forehead, trying again to gain contact, but all in vain.

Dean and Sam had resorted to hunting out their anger and worry. When they were hunting, they didn't have the time to think about the situation their sister was currently in. They went on hunt after hunt, but every time they both tried to sleep, their minds was haunted by the misfortune of their sister and what might happen to her.

Inside Millie's mind:

Sam and Dean was playing with some toys their father had got from the local gas station, a small token after he had been gone for days without a word. Millie stood by the stove, trying to make some food edible for her younger brothers.

"I don't understand why Millie is allowed to hunt and I'm not!" Dean exclaimed to his father. They had this fight almost after every hunt Millie helped John. She understood him, she had started to hunt when she was his age and it wasn't like Dean wasn't a competent hunter at his age. No, John wanted needed his oldest daughter with him, and he knew Dean was more than capable to take care of Sam.

"I hate you!" Dean yelled at his father before turning to Millie "I hate you to!"

One of Millie's worst fears had always been the resentment from her brothers she knew they somewhat felt. She knew they didn't hate her, but she knew she could have done better in taking care of her brothers when they were younger and not spending so much time with their father.

Inside Millie's mind:

Millie was tied up in Hell face to face with her father. Alastair had been taking turns on torturing the two Winchesters for days or even weeks. None of them really could tell the time down in Hell, but it felt like eternity. John looked up at his daughter: "I'm glad you died"

"What?"

"You heard me, life was so much easier without you around. None of us missed you and your brothers hardly remember you anymore".

"You don't mean that, dad..." Millie was crying, but not from the torture.

"It should have been you and not Mary. You were the family's outcast and you'll always be".

Millie knew her father would never say that to her, and she knew her memories had to be tampered with, but it felt so real. Hearing her father speak those words to her broke her heart, what if there were any truth to it at all?

Inside Millie's mind:

"You're a monster, Millie, and you know what we do with monsters" Sam said, his voice cold and careless. Sam, Dean and Bobby stood in front of Millie; the three boys ready to fight. Millie was a demon, and she knew they had to kill her. She wanted them to, but their words hurt, nonetheless. "You've always been a monster, Millie" Dean spoke up, his demon-killing knife ready in his right hand. "I'm gonna enjoy killing you" Bobby's voice filled up her head before they all laughed in union. Millie stood still, not wanting to fight her family, her brothers, Bobby... She loved them even though she might be a demon, she still loved them. The three boys charged at the girl, all of them stabbing her, but she didn't die. She fell to the flood and was forced to take all the pain as her brothers and Bobby kept stabbing her bleeding body.

The oldest Winchester was ready to die if she was a demon, she remembers asking Bobby if he would kill her if she went dark-side, something he hesitantly had agreed too.

Inside Millie's mind:

Castiel stood beside Millie outside on Bobby's porch. They stood close by each other, almost shoulder to shoulder as they looked up at the stars. Millie felt her heart fill up as she looked over et the angel besides her. She didn't quite recognize the feeling she felt while looking at the angel, but it was something she had never felt before, and it made her incredibly happy. It made it seem like life had a bigger meaning than saving people hunting things, the family business.

Castiel turned to face Millie, took her face in his hands and brought her face closer to his, their noses almost touching each other. Millie felt her breathing stop in her throat and her cheeks flush. Castiel looked Millie deep in her eyes before opening his mouth; "I can't believe you have feeling for me", Millie looked at Castiel in confusion before he continued, "You are nothing, not even human. And you think you are worthy of someone like me. I'm an angel of the lord, and you are nothing but a hairless ape" then he stabbed her. Millie felt tears fill her eyes, it felt like someone had punched her in the stomach with an iron fist and crushed her heart with a sledgehammer.

He was right.

He was right.

He was right.

They were all right.
