If she has such a great degree then why is she working at a café? I wondered.

This file had all of my details. And what does it mean by the cause of death of my parents mentioned as murder? They died in a fire. Even I was there with them. They died in front of me.

I turned the page and read further.

Lucas Thompson owned a chain of over 30 restaurants and was also a philanthropist, donating huge sums of money to various charities and orphanages, from time to time.

Jane Thompson owned a charitable trust which worked for underprivileged and abused children and teenagers. After her death, the organization was closed and all the children were transferred to different NGOs.

Funny. Her daughter is being abused.

Isabella Thompson, their daughter was the only one who survived this fatal accident and lives with her uncle David and aunt Veronica. Not much information was provided as her guardians decided to keep her low.

I chuckle bitterly as tears flow from my eyes continuously. I can't even think straight. Who would have killed them? How can someone kill them? Those questions swirled in my head.

I hear a click and look that Alex was there. He looked at my face and then my eyes and then the file which I had in my hands. His eyes widened and he tried to come near me. I put my palm forward, stopped him where he was standing, and asked him, "Who killed them?" I was surprised by how my voice was strong.

"Your uncle," he replied with a stoic face but his eyes held concern for me. I was shattered. How can he do this to his brother and sister-in-law? Not only has he abused me for the last 13 years, but he is also the murderer of my parents. Because of him, I lost my parents.

Alex was coming near me. His eyes held sympathy and pity. I don't want that, I want answers. "Please leave me alone for some time," I pleaded with him. I know once he comes near me, I will break down. "Isa-" I cut him off, "Please," he hesitantly nodded and left the room.

I quickly leave the building and drive to my uncle's house. Once I reached there, some maid opened the door. I went past her and saw three of them sitting in the living room. I was so angry to acknowledge their shocked face.

I marched towards my uncle, grabbed him by his collar, and slapped him hard. I slapped him so hard that his face turned to the other side and I can feel my palm tingling.

Shock and anger were visible on his face. Even my aunt and Vanessa were stunned. I was always submissive to them so they were shocked to see me standing in front of them, looking into their eyes.

Once he registered what happened, my uncle roared, "YOU BITCH". "Enough! I have had enough with you all. Why did you all kill my parents? You burned them? How could you do that to your brother?" I asked him.
