My legs were crushed against the doors of his tiny closet. The sound of Andy's heavy boots resounded through the quiet van with the occasional creak of the old floor. Andy had shoved me into the closet after the little 'earthquake.' The cause of the magnitude was still unknown, but my mind went straight to the worse possible scenario: the angels must have tracked us down.

I took a heavy gulp and I peaked through the tiny crack of the closet doors. His clothes draped over me and all I could smell were the sweet scent of cigarettes and the minty peppermint, his trademarked fragrance. The aroma sent pleasures yet I felt safe under the blankets of his scent, it was an odd mix of love and lust.

Andy maneuvered around his bed and headed for the door. He was slick and slow, being as cautious as he could. I watched as his feet steadily alternated, left foot, right foot, left foot, then bang. A loud eruption rang from the front door.

I jumped and I bet the closet moved in sync with my instantaneous reflexes. My teeth chattered as I munched on my nails, a mechanism for equanimity. The pump of my body hammered repeatedly, slamming large thumps, causing my blood to course faster and faster. My ears then snapped up at the unanticipated vile gurgling.

A low, diabolical growl grumbled at the entrance. The growl got louder and its echo repeated and repeated like a broken record and for a second I was unfazed. It all felt like a movie. Then came a bark, it was a bark so ungodly, the demon himself started to slowly back away. His hands were held out, ready for combat. His eyes flicked to the closet every once in a while, ensuring I was still here. My hands were on the knob, ready for the fight or flight adrenaline to kick in.

"Surprise!" Someone shouted and a hand clasped over Andy's chest and he began to breath normally.

"God, I hate when you guys mask yourselves with that potion, I can never sense you assholes." He walked out of the bedroom and appointed to our visitors. "How much did Lolita charge you guys?" He laughed. The entire atmosphere was lifted from the dread with just his simple laughter, it was low but sweet like chocolate.

I stepped out of the closet, patting down my wrinkled attire. The ungodly growl was nothing but a couple of friends who liked to play with fire. I hop-scotched my way around his cluttered room, but their loud laughs startled me. I fell over a box and landed with a thud, thats when all eyes landed on me.

"Belle," Andy whispered looking back at me. The sound of my name leaving his lips made a blush crept up my cheeks as I pulled myself off the floor in embarrassment. But his teeth snatched my name so quickly when his eyes widen and realized what was going on.

"Is that a... human?" The man said in a sarcastic tone. He was a man with fairly tanned skin and dark long black hair. He was lean and tall, just like the rest of them, but Andy towered over everyone.

"No shit, Sherlock," Andy laughed, playing off the innocent act. He closed the door behind him and I was stuck at the back of the RV.

"Next meal?" The snickers were muffled. I wrapped myself in my warm arms, blinking at the door. The jagged lines and dents presented itself, he must have used the board as an outlet for anger or was it simply from pushing his female opponents against the frame as he sucked the life out of them, literally. Next meal.

I could imagine myself pinned against the frame, pleading and crying for help. His hands all over my body, shivering at his poisonous touch. His godly looks would only send me in a trance filled with the tainted ardor of sexual desire. It pained to me see myself used an object and slaughtered for his pleasure.

Next meal. Pleasure. Demon. The words sang like the national anthem. Those words poured out of their mouths as my ears were planted against the door.

"Guys, come on. Leave her alone," Andy was vexed from their bickering.

"She's human, Andy! You're a demon! I don't understand?" The person who spoke had a higher pitched voice which differed with Andy's usual raspy one.

"Look, Derek came over today and said they were planning it soon, and I mean soon, soon." Andy stammered.

"Well, shit," Someone else responded. "Man, all I wanted was some peace and Chipotle. What do we do?" He groaned.

"Road trip," Andy said. "We're gonna warn everyone and we've got to prepare in case this thing blows out of proportion. We can't let them win and we'll get some Chipotle one the way."

"Hell yeah we will." someone joked, but was backed with a serious question. "Do you think we'll go as far as war?"

They were insinuating a battle. A battle between them and these so-called angels. The Crusades were making a comeback but with a twist and that worried me. I closed in on their conversation.

"What about her. I still don't get why you haven't taken her."

There was a delay when Andy answered. "I just couldn't kill her."

I built a brick wall between my ears and their conversation, I had enough of their blathering. I only listened to muffles as I laid on Andy's bed, inhaling his signature fragrance. For a demon he sure smelled good. And for a demon he sure had a heart, and that struck me. Can demons have feelings? He said he feed off of emotions and fears. Was my nightmare real? Was he feeding off of me that night he stayed over?

The thoughts of him were the only thing that clouded my head. My tribulations were tearing me and it was because of him. A quiet "hey" stuttered at the door. "Sorry for locking you in here for," he looked at the clock by the bedside table, "an hour."

"The night you stayed at my house. The nightmares and stuff, was that you?" I asked without hesitation. I wanted to know the truth, but I already knew the answer.

I was expecting a egocentric, narcissistic reply, but he didn't look proud of what he did, in fact, he looked ashamed. My heart sunk, I could feel his pain, I could feel the torture ripping at the edges of his ribcage. I sympathized with him. I felt empathy for the demon who tried to drain me cold. It was all so ironic.

"I didn't want too, but I was... hungry," he said, his head hung low.

"Big appetite, huh," I joked. "Is that why you let me go the first night we were, ya' know, together?" I remembered the heated bed and the spell of curses under his breath.

"You're just different, Belle," he said. "I usually have no problem killing." That last word made me gulp. "I couldn't do it to you and I don't know why." He said getting up and leaving. "I'll sleep on the couch tonight and I'll introduce you to the guys tomorrow."

"Can demons catch feelings?" I quickly asked. He shrugged his shoulders. "Well, goodnight."

"Goodnight."

I tucked myself in bed and replayed the words that left Andy's mouth. You're just different, Belle.

I looked around his room and saw clothes piled on top of clothes. My luggage sat at the corner, untouched. The thing that caught my attention was the amount of women's clothing he had laying around. Underwear's and bras were littered. I usually have no problem killing. That line sent shivers. I only imagined the girls that laid in this very bed that he fucked and killed.

I cried in pain, there was a burning inside of me but it soon turned into pleasure. He picked me up and pushed me against the bed frame. I grunted at the impact and my back throbbed against the wooden frame boards. I gasped for air, trying to cling onto the little oxygen I had left. I felt like I was flying, flying from the high skyline. He kissed me on the lips and down to my jawline. I arched my back as he sucked and bit my neck. My eyes rolled back and I could see the beautiful sunset on the horizon.

"Don't stop," I begged as he thrusted in and out. He moaned in pleasure while he was still working on my neck. My nails dug deep into his back, leaving bright red-ish pink marks along his pale back. He was a sweet addiction, sweet like cinnamon.

"I could so kill you right now," he groaned riding with the wind and picking up speed.

[A/N: uhhh there's some short smutty smut, as you probably already know at this point in the story. If you're not into smut, don't worry, they won't be periodic, but there will be some here and there and they wont only be memories, just fyi.
