"Merlin what is this strange black rectangle?" Arthur asked bewildered.

"Its a tv." Was Merlin's simple reply.

"What does it do? It seems to take a lot of space,"

Merlin sighed "remember what pictures are?" Arthur nodded. "Well they found a way to project those images onto a screen." Arthur seemed to be following so far. "Well people found a way to make pictures move, and they made a life like story." Arthur seemed puzzled

"Can you show me one?"

There went Merlin's plans for today.

A few hours later Arthur had watched three Harry Potter movies, and he did not want to stop.

................................

Arthur had gotten used to computers, Tv's, and vehicles as Merlin had called them, but yesterday Merlin had brought out a new light. Merlin had called it a luva limp or something like that.

He had been staring at it for hours, how did those bubbles go up and down? What caused it to happen? It had a wire sticking into the power supply so it was electric not magic... But the bubbles didn't stop! Surely they would run out of energy at some point! He was so flabbergasted that he didn't even hear Merlin come in.

"What do you want for supper?" Merlin suddenly asked.

Arthur had jumped and nearly punched him in the nose.

"Explain this to me," Arthur commanded.

Two hours later.

"So the electricity makes the heat at the bottom causing the bubbles to heat up as well and warm things float.... Then when they're cooler at the top they sink again?"

"Yes, now what do you want for supper?" An irritated Merlin asked.

.........................

Arthur had gotten used to the majority of society now. Seemingly enough Merlin had forgotten to explain what people used in the rain. People were holding onto thin sticks that were divided at the top, and had a thin fabric over top. It was obvious that it kept the people dry.

Arthur approached a man that was around his age.

"Excuse me, but what is that thing your holding above your head called?" The man looked at him as if he had two heads, he then proceeded to tell him leave him alone because he was having a bad day.

Arthur had now asked six more people. A little girl had ran away crying, a teenage girl had looked at him in fear and ran away, a man had slapped him at some point, and two people had sworn at him before he found himself being dragged to their home by a raven haired, big eared boy that seemed enraged.

"One girl called the police on you! We don't even have a passport for you yet, let alone any of the papers that you need! How would we get you out? How would..." Merlin rambled.

"What were those called?" Arthur asked.

"Umbrellas. You did that over not knowing a name?"

"Yes?"
