Getting out

I don't know how I got here. All I know is I have to get out.

These are definitely not Camelot's dungeons, and I remember going hunting with Arthur. Then Arthur was pulled back by... I don't remember who, but it was definitely someone from Camelot. So Arthur was safe.

I took a quick look around. The walls were stone, and the place was poorly lit. The bars on one side of the room seemed about the same as the bars from Camelot. Magic could easily pick the lock. There was a rectangular shape on the left side of the bars for food. Fresh straw lay strewn on the ground.

Muttering a spell, I caused the door to silently open. I slipped out, and used my magic to make a map of the castle in my head. Checking the mind map (as I called it) for Arthur, or any of the knights of Camelot, none of my friends were here so they got away. Mapping my way out, I start tip toeing knowing the guards are around the corner.

As I was about to turn the corner, I threw a spell at the guards making them fall asleep instantly. That was rather easy. It seems this kingdom is also non-magical, just like Camelot.

Slipping on one man's armour, I rechecked the mind map. There were another two men coming. Probably to take over guard duty for the other two men that were sleeping on the floor.

Muttering another spell, the men fell asleep as soon as they saw the other two sleeping guards. Using magic, I lifted the one I had switched clothing with into the cell. Maybe it would throw them off my scent for a while.

Now on the main floor, I slipped out the doors. So far this seemed to be easier then I thought it would be.

Ding ding ding. The warning bells went off. Great. Making it seem that I had a mission from who ever their king was, I raced to the gate with a look of determination. I looked like any of the other knights running around me.

Heading towards the stables, I jumped onto a readied horse, and Cantered right out of their Kingdom. On the way out I had to blast a few men out of the way. Easier then a lot of other situations I've been in.

After a week of travel, I made it back to Camelot, and switched back to my own clothing. Arthur would not question my return. For I've done this many times by now.

Walking into the throne room, I bowed, and headed to my spot next to Percival.

"Welcome back Leon. I'm starting to think you're immortal." Arthur joked, causing literally everyone to laugh.

I still found it humorous how Merlin hadn't noticed my magic in the whole time he'd been there. Yet I'd discovered his, and secretly helped to hide it whenever I could.

It was also humorous how much Arthur and Merlin liked each other. Both were too oblivious to notice the other's affection, and both didn't want to admit their feelings. Hopefully they could soon, then maybe me and Percival could go on a double date with them.

.

That's my theory on how Leon is still alive. If he didn't have magic, then he must be immortal.
