Arthur is secretly a mind reader.

Arthur- "yes, but last week a dragon almost set my hair in fire, so this time it's your turn to negotiate."

Merlin's father had a sibling... (Merlin meets family and has to choose them or Arthur. He almost picks family.)

"How do you remember that? You were unconscious at the time!"

Baby dragon starts following Merlin around and won't stop. Arthur finds out, and helps try to hide that from Uther.

Modern day: Merlin gets a life sentence in prison because he was framed, but he makes the most of it and enjoys watching other people's reactions to him not ageing.

"Merlin what is that?"
"My cat."
"Last time i checked, cats do not have eight legs!"

A wizard does a spell on Arthur to make him forget all his training for (few days, week, month?) A short period of time. Arthur has been training to be king for as long as he can remember, so he forgets a vast majority (how to fight, plan for battles, and hide his emotions) of the things that make him Arthur. So for a that short period of time, we have a scardy cat who is rude, but jumps into Merlin's arms the moment a branch snaps. Merlin has to both hide that fact and protect Arthur.

When Arthur has to chose between Mordred's life and letting magic back into the kingdom, he lets magic into the kingdom. How does Merlin show he has magic? What are some of the struggles they go through when magic first enters the kingdom. What about other kingdoms? How do they react?

Introduce magical characters: a shape shifter, whose original form gains stretch marks, and gets uglier every time they change shape. Face snAtching children from abusive homes, raising them in safety while the changling left behind wreaks havoc. Spirits saving people from fires and natural disasters that are too dangerous for the living. A dragon who adopts small children and raises them until they're old enoughto live in their own.

"Put down all of your weapons."
To everyone's surprise, Merlin puts down a few daggers.
"Merlin, all of them."
Hesitantly he pulls out a few more.
"Merlin!"
Throws down a few more angrily. -already done this one ya idjit -(that was a note to myself that I thought was funny so in left it I  there.)

There's a saying, never anger a physician. What happens when Gaius over hears someone planning on torturing and killing Merlin?

Last episode of Merlin, except Merlin calls dragon, saves Arthur and Arthur lets magic into kingdom. Arthur doesn't trust Merlin anymore, so Arthur goes to sorcer to ask if he's trustworthy. Instead of a simple answer, the sorcerer  (who's friends with Merlin) sends him back in time (or back into Merlin's memories) to see all the things Merlin has done to help him.

After Arthur dies, he sees a series of Merlins life. Basically Arthur's reaction to seeing the series.

Arthur is forced to take care of a child. (Or other version, the group of knights and Merlin find a magical child when magic has been accepted. Then, said child asks them to tell them a magical story. Merlin steps forward and tells his life story when he thinks no one is listening. Someone is of course.) -still might want to do this one, so it might show up later.
