Angela POV

We were in our new home in Toronto unpacking our things, finishing our move. It was a big house that had 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and one half bathroom, two living rooms, and a fairly big office. There was a pool in the backyard with room for a garden and a playground. I loved the space we had in comparison with that of our condo, and it was a fairly decent price. At least, a fairly decent price for two very successful doctors, one of which could bring back people from the dead and mend tissue, not to brag.

We had some of our doctor friends help us unpack. There were still some moving boxes here and there, but the home was fairly empty since it was a big upgrade from the condo. There's a lot more space we could use. Maybe we'd designate one of the rooms as a little playroom for the kids.

Speaking of our two little babies they were a month away from being born. We could hardly wait to welcome the twins to the world. We had just gone out and bought two cribs and some toys for them as well as a few decorations for their room. We unpacked these when we moved into the new house. They looked cute, but empty. They'd be filled with bundles of joy soon.

Once everyone left it was just (y/n) and me sitting in our new home on a couch in the living room. A few IKEA boxes were still out. We hadn't finished setting up the cabinets, but most of our things were unpacked thanks to our friends. So it was just (y/n) and me cuddling on the couch.

"One month to go." (Y/n) says, putting a hand on my stomach.

"I know! It's so exciting!" I say.

"I'm glad our friends were able to help us unpack."

"It definitely sped up things. It's nice to have friends like them."

"Indeed it is. To think that we would end up being in this situation. Married. Having twins. Living in our own house. It's amazing."

"Couldn't have said it better myself."

"It's a shame Kristen and Stephen broke up."

"Ja. They were good together, but you know. Dr. Lee has to go to Korea a lot now and they weren't spending enough time together."

"They would also not cooperate at times when at work close to the end of their relationship."

"Why was that?"

"I wish I knew. Could've been different ideas for procedures, something personal, I don't know. It's not our business to know, though. If they tell us, that's fine. But no forcing it out."

"Of course. What if we were in their situation? I wouldn't want people asking why we were arguing."

"I hope we don't end up in their situation. I mean, what would that do for our twins?"

"I would rather not think about it."

"Me too."

"Anyway, Kristen and Stephen were pretty close, though. Remember when we accidentally found them having sex in the hospital?"

"Ugh. Please don't remind me. They really shouldn't have done it there." He facepalms, trying to forget the memory and I laugh.

"Why? We've done it at the hospital a couple of times."

"Yeah, but in our office where no one can enter. The break room is open to all doctors. Not to mention we know what level to be at to not alert everyone unlike them."

We laugh a bit out of embarrassment from what happened. That was not exactly a good day for the hospital. But days come and go, and you recover and take on the new day as best as you can.

"Are you hungry?" (Y/n) asks me.

"Not really, but I suppose I could eat." I say.

"Well what do you want?"

"Ich weiss nicht"

"Okay well what do they want?" He points to my stomach.

"Haha. Uhhhh. I think they may want sandwiches."

"Okey dokey. Sandwiches it is."

Timeskip 1 month later

Today was that fateful day. Today was the day we became parents.

The day started rather slow in the beginning. (Y/n) was taking paternity leave and taking care of me (even though I could take care of myself, it was nice to have him there), so I was being pampered. Even though I was on maternity leave, I still insisted to work from home. I was researching formulas and possible cures for diseases.

When I decided it was time for a break I took a nice long shower. It felt good. The warm water was nice against my naked body. When I was done, I walked out of the shower and looked at my pregnant self in the mirror. I looked down and felt my stomach. I thought about the future that may be in store when I have them.

When I'm about to put my clothes on, it starts happening. I begin to have the contractions again. I hear (y/n) run up the steps, probably worried by my sounds. He opens the door and looks at me with worry.

"What's wrong? Did some-" he stops when he sees me holding my stomach. He smiles for a second, knowing that he would become a father real soon. "It's happening, isn't it?"

I smile for a second and nod my head. They begin to subside, but they'll be back again.

"Do you want to get some clothes on and call the hospital?" He asks and I nod.

(Y/n) helps me stabilize myself and once I'm dressed we get into the Porsche to go to the hospital. Most to-be parents would usually be stressing out now and everything, but we seemed relatively calm about this. It may have been because we were doctors and we knew what to expect from this.

We get to the hospital and get a room. (Y/n) calls his parents and some Overwatch friends that the babies were coming. It's going to be nice seeing our Overwatch friends again. They get to witness the birth of two possible new heroes.

(Y/n) was constantly checking in with me and our visitors. He was giving me updates on who was showing up at times and relaying a few messages. It's safe to say he was definitely getting a lot of exercise.

"Are you sure you're alright?" He asks me, panting.

"I should be asking you that. You're the one running to and from so much." I say.

"Well someone has to be the messenger."

"Take a seat, (y/n). You need to rest." I motion to the chair next to me.

(Y/n) sighs and takes a breather as he plops himself into the chair. We hold hands and stare into each other's eyes. Then (y/n) begins to relay some news.

"So Lena has a girlfriend now." He says.

"Really?" I say.

"Yeah. Her name is Emily."

"I coulda sworn her and her partner back in Overwatch would be together."

"Yeah. That guy with the pistols and the teleportation, right?"

"Ja. And he had a sister, too."

"What happened to him, anyway?"

"Ich weiss nicht."

Our conversation stops when I begin to have more contractions. It's quite painful. (Y/n) has his hand clutched with mine until they subside. I give him a tired smile and he returns one back.

"Soon it'll be over. Then we can welcome them to the world and show them off to our family and friends." (Y/n) says.

I nod my head and he gets up to check in on everyone. One of the doctors comes in and checks on me to make sure everything is going smoothly, which it is.

After a few more hours, it's time for the pushing stage. (Y/n) is by my side, being there for comfort and reassuring that everything will be fine. I gotta get through it. I take quick breaths out of the mouth when told to and push when I'm told to.

After what seems like an eternity, I start to hear crying. (Y/n) smiles as one of the doctors holds the crying child.

"It's the girl. She was the first one born." He says.

I smile at him and I would be more celebratory if the job were done. However, I still have another child on the way, so I continue to push when told. Soon, our second child is born. One boy and one girl. (Y/n) is congratulating me and I take a sigh of relief.

After some testing to make sure the babies were healthy, it's just us in the room. Our new family of four. We named our daughter Sarah after my mom and our son Jacob after (y/n)'s best friend who died in (y/n)'s first Overwatch conflict.

(A/n) I know in the past and the other stories, I let you name the kids. However, I plan to have more in this story, and it would be confusing if there were two (d/n)s or two (s/n)s. How would you know which (d/n) or (s/n) I'd be talking about if that were the case? So basically I'm not naming them to ruin the fun of you naming them, but to make the story better. Anyway. Enough from me. Back to your scheduled fanfic chapter that's waaaaayyyyy off schedule.

The four of us are in the room. (Y/n) is holding a sleeping Jacob as I'm breastfeeding Sarah. I can't take my eyes off of either one of them. Our children. (Y/n) is sitting by the bedside and kisses my cheek.

"We did it. We're now a family." He says.

I nod. "I finally get to have that experience again. Well, even more than I already have, that is."

"Indeed. You think it's time for them to meet their grandparents?"

"I think Sarah is done feeding. Sure."

He hands me Jacob and walks out of the room. Soon their grandparents arrive, and they are overjoyed to see their grandchildren. I smile and tell them how happy I am to call them grandparents.

"Sarah has your eyes." (Y/n)'s mom says.

"They're as pretty as her mom's." (Y/n) says.

"You know, if you ever need us to watch them, just let us know." (Y/n)'s dad says.

"Danke. I will. Thank you for being there for us." I say.

"It's what family does."

We talk a bit longer until the next family walks in. I'm delighted to see Torbjorn, his wife, and Brigitte enter the room. They kinda looked over me when I was alone, so it was nice to see them again and for them to see I was starting a family of my own.

More visitations happen and I am soon allowed to rest. After a day or two I'm finally able to welcome our kids to their new home.

(A/n) Sorry for the delay. I explained why in the apologies note why this chapter took so long. But now it's finally out. To be honest, wasn't too happy with this chapter, but I pushed through. Now I can move on though and make things interesting. I'll possibly do a lemon soon, but maybe not. We shall see. Anyway thanks for reading and being patient. Have a nice day :D
