You couldn't believe your eyes. Ana Amari was standing in front of you. You thought she had been dead, killed on the battlefield by that one other sniper. Yet here she was, standing in front of you, still having that same tattoo on her eye. There were two big differences though. One was that she was older and had grayer hair than before. The other was that she was wearing an eyepatch over her right eye.

"Well, aren't you going to invite me in?" She says and you stop zoning out.

"Right. Uhhh. Please. Come in." You say, motioning her into the house.

"Thank you (y/n)."

She walks in and Dread runs up to her. She smiles and lets the dog have a bit of fun. You know, how dogs act when they see new people. Licking and sniffing a new person, being all happy that they are here.

"Quite the dog you have, (y/n)." She says scratching behind Dread's ears.

"Yeah. Dread loves people." You say, still shocked that Ana was still alive. Not only was she still alive, she was visiting you! "Uhhh. Can I offer you something to drink?"

"Yes. I'd like some tea please."

You nod and go to the kitchen to make her some tea. Meanwhile you're thinking of so many things. One is that freaking Ana Amari, the legendary sniper, was currently sitting in your parents' living room. Sure you had met her before and done several missions with her, but you had thought she had died. You were devastated when you heard of this loss. Yet here she was, and you were preparing tea for her.

You come back with two cups of tea and give her one of the cups, bringing out some sugar and cream in case either of you wanted some. You sit down next to her and drink your tea with a bit of a shaky hand.

"Are you feeling alright, (y/n)?" She asks.

"Y-yeah. I think it's just the shock factor, you know? We thought you were...dead. The fact that you're right here sitting on my parents' couch is just...shocking." You say.

"I'm sure this is quite the surprise for you."

"Yeah. No kidding."

"Why don't we ease some of the tension a bit with some small talk?" She sips her tea. "So, you and Angela are together now. How has life been for you two."

"It's been great. Angela is currently in Germany with a colleague. Actually, she called me before you knocked on the door saying that she was on the airplane heading home. We, uh, actually just came back from Hawaii a couple of weeks ago."

"Hawaii huh? I've was there a little while ago as well. It's beautiful there. Unlike you, I was in Kauai."

"Yeah. Hawaii an amazing place. We'll have to visit Kauai next time Angela and I go there."

"What were some things you did there?"

"Well, we uhh, we went to Oahu and explored that island. We did activities like go to a luau and do some things on Waikiki beach. Did some snorkeling. A lot of swimming and sunbathing. We just did several relaxing activities."

"That was my favorite place I've visited during my retirement. I loved Kauai. Those luaus are some amazing shows."

"Yeah. We were both impressed when we saw ours. The food was great and the show was spectacular. Sorry for changing the subject, but how did you know where to find me?"

"I have my ways. I looked up where your home address was from the old Overwatch database and was going to ask your parents. I was actually fortunate to find you here instead."

"I guess you were." you say with a soft laugh. "So, uhhh, what has life been like under the radar?"

She sighs. "It's just not the life for me. It's relaxing, but it's too relaxing. Do you understand?"

"Not really, but kinda? You know?"

"Yes. Anyway, I thought I was cut out for retirement. I was wrong. There are still innocent lives being lost, both human and omnic. Kauai could be great, but it's just preventing the inevitable for me. I have to be out there bringing justice. It's my duty."

"I guess that's just the Amari way." Ana chuckles a bit. "So where to I come into play with this? Why do you need me?"

"Well, you see, not only does justice need to be delivered, but people need to be healed. Those who are hurt from war and battle must have help, too. This is why I need you, (y/n). You are a chemical expert. You know several combinations that have healed those of us on the battlefield. That is why I have faith in you. I need you to make some weapons for me so that justice can be done."

"Ana...I'm honored. But I can't do it here. I have no supplies that I can use to make whatever it is you need."

"You work at that hospital with Angela, right?"

"Well, yeah, but I'm house sitting for my parents. Who's gonna watch the animals?"

"Are your parents friendly with the neighbors?"

"Yes. Should I call one?"

Ana nods and motions for you to make the call. She says something in Arabic, but you don't know what she said. Maybe it was something along the lines of "I always know best" or "must I solve everything," but hopefully not "so smart yet so dumb." You pick up the phone and look at the list of numbers for your neighbors on the fridge. You call the Redmonds and Mrs. Redmond picks up.

"Hello?" You hear her say.

"Mrs. Redmond. It's me (y/n)."

"Oh (y/n)! How are you?"

"I'm fine. How are you?"

"I'm doing just fine. Are your parents back?"

"No. They're still on vacation. That's why I'm calling you. I've been called into work and I was wondering if you could watch over Woodstock and Dread for a bit. I don't know how long I'll be, but since you're close, I was wondering if you or someone in your family could do it while I'm gone."

"Of course! Daniel knows where everything is since that was his little job back when you were in Overwatch and your parents wanted to go on vacation. You're lucky he's still home from break."

"Haha. I guess I am. Okay. Just send him over whenever he's ready. Thank you so much."

"No problem (y/n). Have a good day."

"You too."

You hang up and look at Ana. "Well, there we go. Let's go to the hospital and you can give me the details."

Ana nods and puts her empty tea cup back onto its saucer. You drive to the hospital and head to yours and Angela's office/lab. You lock the door and get to your work station.

"Okay. What do you need?" You ask.

Ana takes a blueprint out of her bag and sets it on the table. "This is what I mainly need. As you can see, it's a sniper rifle. No surprise there. You don't need to build the rifle. However, what I need it to do is to both damage and heal. I need you to make the bullets it shoots."

You sigh and move your hand down your face. This would take a lot of work. That's for sure. You didn't know if you could come up with it yourself. You might need to...no. She wouldn't want it to be used for this.

"Okay. Ana. I want to help, but to do this would require I use Angela's biotechnology. She would not like me using it for harm." You say.

"I understand. However, let me explain why only you can do it and why Angela would accept why it had to be this way." Ana takes a seat and motions for you to do the same. "Listen, I wouldn't be asking you unless I needed the help. I know Angela doesn't want her technology to be used for harm, but remember the gun also heals. You should also know that sometimes some lives must be spent in order for more to be saved. You're the closest to Angela. I can tell you love each other very much. You remind me of the time when I was younger. If anyone else buy you were to use her technology for harm, if she truly loves you, I'm sure she would forgive you. If you need to, you can say you did it for me. I'm trusting you two to keep a secret about me still being alive. Okay?"

You nod. "But, what if she doesn't believe me?"

"She should, but if you want to take a picture for proof, we can."

You decide to take a picture of the two of you and you both smile for the picture. Hers is her familiar closed smile. You're doing your normal smile as you snap the picture. Then you go back to the table and look at the blueprint again.

"Is there any other weapon you would like me to make?" You ask.

"I can provide a sleep dart easily. However, maybe you can use the technology from the gun to make a certain grenade that will either heal some people or damage others. Another thing I would like would be a device to make others more powerful."

"Ooh! I have something for that!"

You go to your shelves and look for one of your solutions you made a while ago. You then find it. It was a cool blue with little bits of white moving around in it. You tap it and the white stuff move more.

"I made this a while ago. I call it the nano boost. If someone were to receive it, they would be more powerful than normal. This goes for whatever they're holding as well."

Ana takes it and looks at the solution. She swirls it around and smiles. "I have to say, this looks very nice. I'll find someone to make it into something I can use. Now, about the other request."

"Yes. I can figure something out, but it may be a bit of time."

You look at the blue print and then sit down at the computer. You pull up some of Angela's work as well as your own. You start to analyze the technology. How can you create something that can hurt someone, yet heal someone else?
You look to where Ana was sitting. She was very calm, allowing you to do your work in peace and focus. She'd occasionally get up and walk around and sometimes get a couple of things for you. She wore something so she wouldn't get recognized, though. That would be a bad reputation for the hospital. "Ghost of former Overwatch agent found at hospital."

After a while, when hope seemed lost, you figure it out. You know what you need. You look at the time, showing that it was pretty late. You look behind you and see Ana sleeping, having a makeshift bed. You're tired, but the idea is fresh in your brain, and you can't lose it.

"I need more coffee." You tell yourself.

You get up and try to run to the door, emphasis on try. You didn't even make it past your desk before tripping over the trash can and falling to the ground. This wakes up Ana who sees you on the ground.

"Are you alright (y/n)?" She asks, worried.

You give her a thumbs up before getting up. "Yeah. Yeah I'm fine. Just gotta get some coffee."

You get your coffee and immediately get to work. You get your supplies as well as Angela's biotechnology and start to make what you need. After a couple of tries, you're satisfied with the result. You look at it with pride, as you hold the yellow solution in front of you. You write down the solution and what's in the biotechnology so that Ana could produce more bullets or bio grenades if needed. You showed it to Ana who seemed very impressed.

"I have to say, (y/n), I didn't think you could get it done so soon." She says, looking at the solution.

"Yeah, well, when you have a workaholic girlfriend, you learn how to stay up a while and still work properly." You say, feeling complemented.

Then you hear your phone ring, playing a song that you only have assigned to your girlfriend. You quickly answer it and hear her beautiful voice.

"Hello Angela." You say.

"Hallo (y/n). I've just landed at (airport)."

You look at Ana and mouth crap. You didn't expect her to be back for a half an hour. You still had to clean everything up. "That's great. I've missed you."

"Me too. Are you close to the airport or should I find a cafe?"

"Find a cafe. I didn't expect for you to be this early. I'll head out right away."

"Alright. Can't wait to see you again."

"Me too."

"I love you."

"Love you too."

You hang up and look at Ana. She nods and puts the solution down.

"I'll take it from here. Don't worry. I'll clean everything up. It's the least I can do. Thank you for everything, (y/n)." She says.

"Where will you go?" You ask.

"Wherever duty calls I suppose. First I have to get these turned into weapons, but after that, wherever justice needs to be delivered. Thank you (y/n). Go see your girlfriend."

You thank her and bit her farewell, fast-walking to your car to drive to the airport. Lucky for you there wasn't too much traffic and you get there fairly quickly. You call Angela that you're here and pull up to the pick-up zone. Soon you see her walk out of the airport with her bags. You get out of your car and embrace Angela.

"Welcome back, my angel." You say.

"Danke, mein leiber." She says.

You two kiss and you grab her bags. You put them in the back and open her door for her. You get into the car and drive off. You talk the whole ride back to your parents' home, mainly discussing the trip. You get home and pay Daniel for watching over the animals while you were gone.

"Why did he need to watch your pets?" She asks.

"Oh. Uhh, I was called in to check something and didn't know how long it would take." You say. Lucky for you she buys it. "Did you watch anything on the plane?"

"On the way back I watched Spider-Man Homecoming."

"Did you stay until after all the credits played?"

"Ja."

"Okay. Good."

"Well, ich bin am Verhungern. Can you make us something?"

You nod and make some food, doing more discussing at the table about your relief that the project was finally done. Once you finish, you both take a shower (separately) and go straight to bed. You both needed the sleep.

(A/n) Get ready for three, count em, three chapters back to back in this story (counting this one). This is because I did three chapters in a row for the Tracer story, so I'm doing them for all three of the stories. Hope you enjoy them. I never really focused on your profession in this story, so this was a bit of insight into it. And Ana is alive! Yay! Will Angela ever find out? You will need to stay tuned. Also, watch Spider-Man: Homecoming. Or the better film, Spiderpig: Home Cooking. I saw Spider-Man two times in less than a week (because opportunities), so it's good in my opinion. Have a nice day :D
