Hawaii has been pretty fun for you two. You've toured the island and learned about the culture, visited the beach several times, and spent a lot of time together. Angela seemed much more relaxed than when you first left for Hawaii, and that wasn't just the spa's doing. Today was going to be your final day, and you were discussing what you guys might be doing when you get back as well as recalling the place you just witnessed, which was Pearl Harbor.

"So, how'd you like Pearl Harbor?" You ask, driving along the Oahu coast.

"It was very informative. I can't believe that Pearl Harbor actually had a significance in two wars. World War II and the war against the Omnics." She says.

"Yeah. It's definitely had its share of war experience. Were you there when the attack happened?"

"Nein. I was researching back home. Thanks for this trip, by the way. I know I've said this several times, but thank you."

"What else can I say? You're welcome."

You turn on the radio and Limelight by Rush turns on. You start to do a bit of air guitar, but Angela stops you.

"Hands on the wheel, dummkopf!" She yells.

"Sorry!" You quickly say and laugh.

"It's not funny! We could've gotten hurt!"

"For what? When I took my hands off for a second?"

"We could've veered off or lost control."

You sigh. "You're right. Es tut mir leid."

"It's fine. I'll be the guitar. You can drum on the wheel."

"The Doctor Duo is performing live in Hawaii, with Angela Ziegler on guitar and vocals and (f/n) (l/n) on drums with Bob the invisible man who's not part of the duo as the bass." You say in an announcer voice as Angela laughs at your shenanigans.

You guys have some fun on the ride back to your hotel as you park the car. You get out and open Angela's door for her to get out, being the gentleman you are. You guys walk into the hotel room and just lay in bed on your phones for a bit, just taking a break for a bit.

"So today is our last day here." You say after several minutes of silence.

"I know. I don't want to leave." She says.

"No one wants to leave Hawaii. However, we have a job to do. Also, our room will expire soon."

"Those are a couple fair points. Did you have fun, (y/n)?"

"I did. It was an even better experience since I was able to share it with you."

"Awww. Ich liebe dich." Angela says as you two quickly kiss and she lays her head on your shoulder when you put an arm around her. "Can we visit the beach one last time before we leave?"

"When would you like to go?"

"Maybe in a half hour or less? Then we should have some Hawaiian dinner and maybe check out a bit of the nightlife to wrap up our final day."

"You've got it. Who are you texting?"

"A colleague of mine from Germany. I might be seeing him soon to discuss the proj- I mean something."

"Angela."

"Yes?"

"You were this close. This close from not talking about the project for the entire trip."

"Look he brought it up! It wasn't my idea to do it!"

You stare, and then bust up laughing. "I'm just messing with you. I'm actually surprised you made it this far. I'm proud of you. Let's not have it ruin our fun today, okay?"

Angela starts to laugh with relief. It's about 15 more minutes of just playing on your phones when Angela puts hers away and says "I'm going to take a quick shower and get ready for the beach. Care to join me?"

You nod, get up, and you two take a shower. Nothing crazy happened. Just a cleaning of your bodies and the occasional kiss. You two get out and put your bathing suits on before you pack your things and get ready to go out.

"Should we come back here to change into some nicer clothes when we go to get dinner and adventure in the night?" Angela says.

"We probably should. So we don't need to pack a change of clothes and travel lighter." You say.

Angela nods and you two head out to visit the beach for a little bit. Despite several people there, it was still pretty, especially with the sun beginning to lower. It wasn't a complete sunset yet, but it was still very nice. You two set up your spot and lay in the sun for a bit.

"How did you like the surfing lesson?" You ask.

"Es hat Spaß gemacht. I liked trying to learn it, but we now know I'm not good at it." She says.

"I did see you wipe out quite a bit."

"You must've enjoyed it. You did fairly well. Not to mention you got to see me fail."

"Yeah, I did a little bit of surfing when I was helping Overwatch in San Diego. Also, I never want to see you fail."

"Really? You didn't think it was funny or enjoyed seeing me in the water?"

"Okay. So I laughed a couple of times, and of course I liked seeing you in the water, but I like just seeing you anyway." You sheepishly admit, causing Angela to smirk.

You guys just lay in the sun for a bit before Angela wants to take a walk with you. You two walk along the water with the sun setting against the water.

"It's so pretty." Angela says, taking her phone out to take a picture of you two in front of the landscape.

"It only emphasizes your beauty." You say.

"Well aren't you the charmer."

"I try my best. Look! There are some dolphins out there."

"Oh mein gott! Look at them playing out there. I wish we could've seen them up close."

"Well, that's something we can do next time we come here. You hungry?"

"Ja. Let's pack up and get Abendessen."

You pack up, change clothes when you go to your hotel, and go to a Hawaiian place for dinner. There you reflect on your trip with Angela, talking about all your adventures and going through some photos you took.

"Remember the military beach?" You say, pulling up a photo of the two of you by the water's edge.

"That had to be one of my favorite beaches. There was almost no one there and it was super clean." Angela says.

"We didn't need to be concerned that our stuff would be stolen when we went out in the water."

"That water was super nice. All of Oahu was nice. Can we just stay here?"

"Have you seen the cost of living here?"

"Maybe later then. Besides, we're doctors. We can probably afford it. You said it yourself."

"Yeah you're right. Just not now. Maybe in a couple of years."

"Okay. Versprechen?"

"I promise."

You finish your dinner and then head to a lounge. After waiting in line for a bit, you two enter and you're surrounded by loud music and dancing people. The music was a bit too modern for yours and Angela's taste, but it was still good nonetheless. You find a table not too far from the bar and sit down there, ordering a couple of drinks for the two of you.

You two just talk about random things that pop into your brains as the drinks keep coming for Angela. However, since you know her limit, you stop her before she gets drunk.

"Angela, that's your last Blue Hawaii." You say.

"Aw come on! I'll be fine." She says.

"Angela, I've known you for several years, which means I know how much alcohol you can take. You don't want a hangover on the airplane home."

"I thought you loved me."

"I love you a lot. More than you can imagine. That's why I'm doing this."

"You truly love me?"

"Absolutely."

You don't know if it's the alcohol talking, but she just grabs you and kisses you. That was normal, except this kiss was more like the ones you do in private. You separate and she giggles when she sees a strand of saliva on your chin. You smile and wipe it off with a napkin.

"You want to dance, my angel?" You say, grabbing Angela's hand.

"It would be my honor, (y/n)." She says as she gets off the stool and you make your way to the dance floor.

You guys dance for a bit, both normal and slow. You guys are both laughing after a bit of dancing and are sitting back at your table.

"Well that was fun." You say.

"Ja. I'm gonna use the restroom. Keep an eye on my things." Angela says.

You nod and watch her head off. You hope no one decides to hit on her while you were separated for a bit. For that person's sake. As you're in thought, you hear a female voice.

"Never thought I'd see you again, (y/n)."

You turn and see a girl with long brown hair and hazel eyes. You hadn't seen this person since medical school.

"Jenna! Haven't seen you in forever." You say motioning her to pull a chair and sit down.

"How long has it been?" She says.

"Hard to say. A long time. What brings you to Oahu?"

"I actually work in Hawaii."

"No way."

She nods. "Yep. On the big island actually. What about you? What are you doing here."

"I'm here on vacation with my girlfriend. She and I worked together at Overwatch."

"Oh yeah. Sorry about the collapse. What did you do afterwards?"

"Well, Angela and I work at a hospital a few cities away from where my parents live. We're developing a new procedure that can save lives."

"That's interesting. Is it going well?"

"Well, we're here to take a break from the project if that helps tell you where we at. Speaking of my girlfriend, here she comes."

Angela walks up to the table smiling, but it slowly melts away as she sees the new person at the table.

"Angela, meet Dr. Jenna Gilmore. She's a former colleague of mine back from medical school." You say.

"Pleasure to meet the great Dr. Ziegler." Jenna says as Angela shakes her hand.

"Schön, dich kennen zu lernen." Angela says.

"So, you know German, (y/n)?"

"Ja, ein bisschen." You say

Angela puts her arms around your neck and starts to lay her head on your shoulder and kiss your neck and mutters some German in your ear.

"She always like this?" Jenna mouths and Angela doesn't see it.

You point to the empty drink glass at Angela's spot and Jenna mouths oh and nods.

"Well, it was nice to catch up with you, (y/n)." Jenna says.

"You too. Have a good night." You say.

Jenna leaves and Angela looks up. "I thought she'd never leave." Angela mutters.

"Okay. What's gotten into you? It's more than the alcohol."

"Me? What about you? I leave for a few minutes and you're chatting with another lady."

You smirk. "You're jealous, aren't you."

"No!...okay a bit."

"Wow. You're probably one of the few women to admit that. But there's no need to. It was just some catching up, and I already found my girl. She's sitting in front of me. With blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes."

"Thanks (y/n)."

"You're welcome, and I mean it. Besides, if I even liked Jenna, she wouldn't like me back."

"Why?"

"Well for starters she's gay."

"Oh." Angela looks over to where Jenna was and sees her talking with a red haired girl.

A waitress walks over and gives Angela a drink, saying "One Strawberry Sunrise from that man over there."

Angela looks over and sees three guys at a table, all three not looking the...smartest of people to say the least.

"Ugh. Can't they see I'm taken? Let me go tell them." Angela says.

"No. That's what they want you to do. They want you to abandon the nice doctor dude for some drop outs. I may be stereotyping, but they're probably thinking (in a French accent) 'that blonde woman would want to leave that tramp for a real man.'"

Angela starts laughing at your accent. "Why are you talking in a French accent?"

"It was the first accent I could come up with. Now, how about we share the drink, leave this place, and we show our love at the hotel?"

"But we've already shown we're the ones for each-"

You raise an eyebrow and Angela understands what you were saying and smiles. She nods and after you leave, you show your love for each other in bed, ending a great vacation in what both you and Angela agree is the best way to end the vacation.

(A/n) The end of the Hawaii arc. Hooray! I wanted to have a bit of jealousy in the story because why not? It only strengthened the bond between you two. Sorry for the delay of updating. I've been very busy. That goes for all my books. Thank you for your patience, and I hope you can stay patient for these chapters. Have a nice day :D
