***Sahana's P. O. V***

I gulped in fear and blood rose to my cheeks as Arush moved forward towards the table, his arms just brushing mine.

And then, I almost squealed as I felt his musky cologne filling my nostrils as he slowly moved his socks clad feet on mine, making goose bumps erupt all over my body.

I cleared my throat and without looking at him, started moving my chair slowly away from him. But the great Arush always has his way!!

I felt a strong force stopping my chair and turned to find his strong hold on the arm rest of my chair. At this point, everybody in the room was looking at me and clearing my throat again, I bent down, acting as if I'm picking up something that's fallen down.

Taking deep calming breaths, I looked around to find Arush's socks clad feet, both of which were out of the shoe.... and that's when an idea struck me!

Bachchu abhi maza chakhaungi tujhe Arush!!

Smirking, I started tickling the underside of his feet ever so softly, hoping against hope that he was ticklish. And sure enough, I saw him fidgeting on his seat before he moved his feet aside.

Barely controlling my smirk, I sat back on the chair, acting nonchalant, while Arush cleared his throat.

From the reflection on my laptop screen, I could make out how Arush was pursing his lips in anger, and knew very well that I'd be facing a hybrid of a hungry lion+dinosaur+dragon aka our very own pissed off Arush after the meeting was over, but as of now I'm safe aren't I?!

Oh how wrong was I?!

I was listening intently to Prisha saying about her contribution to the project, when I felt his warm and strong hand on mine which was on the arm rest. Before I could react, his hand had moved to my thigh as he pushed his chair forward, completely hiding his hand or his antics from view.

Blood rose to my cheeks as he started moving his hand along my thigh under the table, but it didn't stop there. His hand moved back to mine which was clutching the armrest tightly, and making random circles on the top of my palm, making goosebumps erupt all over my body. My insides squirmed in delight and my heart started thumping unnaturally fast! Blood continued to rise to my cheeks and I started feeling things I'd never felt before in my life... oh boy this wasn't god!!

My face was surely resembling a ripe tomato 10 minutes later, when it was my turn to speak and Arush was still continuing with his antics of touching my thigh and drawing circles on my arm.

"I...I.. I'm...w.....w.....w....working...o..on..." I stuttered as sweat beaded on my forehead, thanks to Arush's antics.

Arush intertwined our fingers briefly before pressing my hand {which was on the arm rest and hidden from view} in a reassuring sort of way and put his hand on my thigh and somehow, feeling much more confident than I usually would whilst speaking in front of a crowd, I spoke about my contribution to the project, looking at everyone else except at Arush.

Finally, almost at the end of my monologue, I looked at him, who blinked his eyes in a reassuring sort of way, and unable to control a smile, I spoke, looking at the people around me.

It was almost 4 'o clock when the meeting got over, and once again Arush pressed my hand which was under the table, wordlessly telling me to meet him, before he went out of the meeting room.

The room broke out in loud buzzing like the buzzing of bees once Arush went out of the room, and everywhere I looked I met eyes which were full of pity and sympathy for me.

"Should I talk to him about you sitting in his cabin?!" Riya asked, as she too looked at me with sympathy.

"Huh?! Oh no.. no need... not like he's gonna agree to you is it?! And in any case, I'll work there and prove to him that I'm a good employee and a hard worker.... at least then he'll stop glowering at me" I lied, while my insides squirmed in pleasure at the thought of working in the same room as Arush... how he'd hopefully hold my hands or kiss me occasionally...

"You don't have to get embarrassed by what sir said Sahana... I think that he feels the day is wasted if he doesn't shout at atleast one of his subordinate!! And that too at a meeting.... Arush sir never ends a meeting without shouting at atleast one person, don't worry" Nihal said bracingly, smiling at me.

"Yeah well he has always been like that.... you know how at Maata Kaali's puja or something they do this bali dena thingy?! Bali ka bakra?! Well, Arush sir needs a bali ka bakra at every meeting of his, don't worry too much about it okay?" Prisha said, patting my back.

What with everyone giving me sympathetic looks and what they thought to be words of comfort, it was a long time before we all left the meeting room, and my phone had constantly been buzzing with messages, which I'm sure was from Arush.

Telling everyone that I'd better move a few of my stuff to Arush's room, I took the immediate necessaries from my cubicle and hurried off to Arush's cabin, entering it only after he told me to come in.

As expected, Arush was glowering at me, that vein in his temple was pulsing visibly, and I gulped audibly.

"I'm sorry... got held-up by the others.. " I began, but he put his hand up, wordlessly telling me to stop talking.

I put the contents in my hand at the free end of his table, which was away from the door, and turned to face him, who glared at me.

He stood up suddenly, making me jump, and I looked at him in shock as he started walking towards me. Involuntarily it seams, but I started moving backwards, till my back hit the wall behind me, and Arush continued to move forwards, till his body touched mine.

Putting his arms on either side of my head, Arush smirked at me, as I gulped audibly, feeling extremely nervous before clenching my eyes shut.

"I'm not a hungry lion and neither are you that hungry lion's prey" he said softly, making me slowly open my eyes.

He had bent to my level, and his nose was touching mine, his breath fanning my face, as he looked intently at me.

"No.... but you're a fire-breathing dragon" I said and to my amazement, he burst out laughing, giving me the rare treat of finding the highest level of handsome my boyfriend can get - yes the image of him laughing heartily!!

"Dragon am I?!" he asked huskily, putting his arms around my waist and pulling me closer to himself.

I nodded my head coyly, bending my head and fiddled with the buttons of his shirt. Using his index finger and thumb, Arush lifted my face by my chin, making me meet his intense gaze.

"So what's this dragon's food?! Your lips is it?" he asked softly, nuzzling against my cheeks.

I bit my lip in embarrassment and looked away as he kissed the top of my head.

"Well let's just say for now that this dragon can be very possessive about you" he said in a very possessive voice, tightening his grip around my waist.

"Why Arush?! I'm already your's!! I haven't found anybody who could make butterflies burst in my stomach just by the way they smile!! And you make my insides squirm like never before just by your intense gaze and that smile... why do you fear loosing me?!" I asked, cupping his face and looking deep into his eyes.

"Really?! My smile gives birth to butterflies in your stomach?" he asked, sounding gleeful.

"Is that all you took in?" I asked, pouting a little.

"I have the habit of not taking in words that don't please me" he said, winking and making me roll my eyes.

"But still... I didn't know that Sagar was flirting with me, and in any case it's not like I'll go and marry him!" I said, caressing his cheek.

"One thing that you should know about me is what's mine is mine forever... I don't like people touching what's mine... and you're the most special thing I've ever had... I won't let anyone even think about you, forget looking at you or even taking you out on dates!" he said seriously.

Though I never understood why people get so possessive, or how they get so possessive, yet the thought that I meant so much to him and that I was so special to him felt very endearing to me, and I couldn't stop myself from hugging him tightly, resting my head on his chest.

Maybe he was slightly taken aback by my gesture because he didn't hug me back immediately. But soon enough, he tightened his grip around me and kissed the top of my head before resting his chin on top of my head.

"I had read somewhere that a guy should be so tall that his girl's head should just reach the guy's chest. Do you know why?" he asked, kissing my temple.

"So that the girl's head can form like a resting place for the guy's chin?! A form of support or something?" I said, inhaling his musky cologne.

Arush let out a deep chuckle before saying "Hmm yes maybe, but the actual reason is that when the guy hugs the girl, and the girl puts her head on his chest, she can listen to his heartbeat and know how much she affects him.... the guy's heartbeat would obviously be loud and quickened with his girl in his arms... the girl would get to know how much she affects him"

Pondering over his words, I snuggled closer to his chest, only to hear how Arush's heartbeat too felt quick and loud.

"My head too reaches to your chest level and I can actually hear your heart thumping loudly" I said, giggling.

"Exactly" he said, and with my eyes going wide in shock, I pulled away from him to look into his eyes.

"That's the effect you have been having on me from the time I saw you for the first time Sahana" he said seriously, his beautiful orbs gazing intently at me.

I was dumbfounded with his words... completely speechless!! That's the most beautiful thing someone's ever told me!!

Without thinking much, I stood on the tip of my toes and placed my lips on his - the best way I could tell him how much his words meant to me!
