I thought I picked the bed by the wall?

I smell like aftershave too which I find quite weird. Wiping my eyes as I sit up, I notice that my duffel bag isn't here and neither is Zoe's or Sienna's. I sat there confused but then when Carter came into view I realised that I was probably high and came here as a result of that.

Oh God I hope I didn't do or say anything embarrassing

"How you feeling?" He sits down

"That nap did me justice.... How long have I been out for?" I frown

"Well you missed todays activities but it's fine since they only used the jet ski, it's 6pm now" Carter replies

So essentially, eight hours

"Oh wow" I say shocked

He looks down for a moment, it's almost as if he has something to say, "What is it?"

He sighs, "Carmen...."

I narrow my eyes, "I think you should consider telling your family"

I frown "What, that I'm here?"

"They don't even know you're here?" He says with surprise

I shrug, "Aside from Enzo"

"So who the hell signed your permission slip?"

I shrug, "I did, it's not hard to forge"

Carter sighs again, "Ok I'm not even gonna say anything about that..... I just meant that maybe you should tell your family about you"

"I don't understand where this is going"

"Like... you and your struggles with food-

I scoff, "Are you out of your mind? No"

"Would that be so bad?-

"Yes it would actually"

"Why?"

"Because I don't want them to know" I say annoyed

"But they'd be able to help you"

"I don't need help"

"Yes you do Carmen-

"No I fucking don't"

"Well have you eaten an actual meal today?" Carter scoffs

"Why does that matter-

"Have you?"

"You know what? No I haven't, because I was too busy getting high" I get out of the bed

"That's my point C! You're damaging your body and you don't even realise it-

"Fuck you Carter!"

I take off his shirt before putting mine back on, I then pick up my shoes and he sighs. "Carmen-

"Why don't you go fuck Eliza and leave me alone"

He looks at me as if I just slapped him across the face, "Wow.... Just wow"

I untuck my hair from my shirt, "Fucking ass hole" I walk out, letting his cabin door swing shut behind me.

What an idiot

It's not dark yet but there's a campfire going on near the main house. Everyone's scattered around in their friend groups, I locate mine before sitting down with them. "You still high?" Sienna says amused

"No I slept it off" I mutter before taking a s'more from her

"Everything ok?" Zoe asks after sensing my mood

I put on the best pretend smile that I can, "Everything's ok, sauce me"

She spreads the chocolate sauce onto my s'more and I smile a thanks before closing it and taking a bite. Minutes later Carter walks towards the guys on his team without even sparing a glance my way, it's good that he finally learned to stop staring.

Zoe narrows her eyes at the two of us, "Something happened" She says knowingly

I keep my eyes on the fire, "Nope"

"You guys are obsessed with staring at each other, there was no eye contact at all this time"

"You're overthinking"

"And you're lying-

"Zoe just drop it" I say seriously

She raises her hands with surrender before sitting back against the log.

All of a sudden I want to go home

Pretty soon it was time for us all to get ready for bed, and me being me I decided on wearing cycling shorts and a hoodie that I stole from Enzo.... Just so that I can feel smaller. The time is currently ten o'clock so it's pretty dark outside, and although I had a long nap earlier I still feel pretty tired.

I wipe my eyes as I sit on my bed, "Where the fuck-... shit"

I hear the shower curtain draw back, "Carmen!"

I yawn, "What"

Zoe opens the door and I frown as she stands there naked and wet, there's still soap on her body. "Can you get my phone?"

"Where is it"

"The boys room-

"No"

She pouts "Pleaseeee, Siennas getting coffee with Macey"

"Then get changed and go get it yourself" I reply as I lie back on my bed

"Pretty please C-

Someone knocks on the cabin door before opening it and Zoe hides behind the door, "Yo"

I put up my hood as Aaron walks in, "What's wrong?" He frowns

"Nothing"

"Ok I call bull shit, you and Carter are acting weird"

I shrug as I turn on my phone, "Must be a coincidence"

"What did you do to my wingman-

I scoff, "What did I do? Have you ever thought that maybe your wingman is the problem"

"She's been dissing him the whole night"

That's when Aaron notices his girlfriend, it's like all of a sudden he was put into a trance. "Damn"

She's got her hand on the door and her heads peeping out, she smiles cheekily. "Hi baby"

He walks over to the bathroom with her phone, "Hi"

I roll my eyes before pulling the comforter over my head

"Wake up bitches!"

"Five more minutes" I murmur into my pillow

Sienna yanks the comforter off of me, "Hurry or we're gonna miss breakfast"

Zoe yawns tiredly, "Nobody wants that shitty food anyway"

"It's pancakes"

"You're lying"

She sighs, "It's actually just toast.... But still, get up"

"Thought so" I roll off of my bed before heading to the bathroom

After breakfast we're apparently getting a tour of the place, it's currently 9am and there's so many other things I'd rather do. I was out the shower within ten and then I changed into a pair of ripped jeans and an oversized grey tee

Now why jeans you ask, it's because a bunch of us are only staying for half of the tour. We're gonna sneak off back to the cabins and have a party in the main house. Big risk I know, but you only live once.

The breakfast was mid-... actually, I wouldn't know since I had a fruit bar instead. But anyhow the toast didn't look appealing in any way at all and by looking at everyone's faces I could see they agree, "Aaron I'm gonna slap you" Zoe says seriously

He's been trying to shove the toast into her mouth for awhile now, "I'll pay you a dollar to tell me how it tastes"

She snorts, "I'm a Virgo honey, I don't need your money"

Sienna smiles at her statement. Like I said, Zoe has a very interesting character but once you get to know her then you'll get used to it.

We were in the middle of touring the campsite when I finally saw Carter, he was wearing a pair of sweats along with the shirt that I wore yesterday. I feel kind of bad for telling him to go and fuck Eliza, but at the same time he deserved it. So really.... I don't feel bad at all. "Carmen" Sienna knocks me out of my thoughts

"Yeah" I look back at her

"We're going back to the cabin now" She says softly

I look back at Carter for a second, "Yeah ok"

She puts an arm around my shoulder, "Let's go"

None of us changed outfits, we pretty much just did a light bit of makeup plus I straightened my hair. My phone buzzes as I put on one last layer of mascara, this is the first time that I'm checking my messages

Dad: That trip better be worth it

Trust me when I say that I'm shitting bricks, I don't know what's waiting for me when I get home. However I'm not gonna think about that right now, it's better to just live in the moment. I put my makeup bag away before tucking my phone into the back pocket of my jeans, "Ooh you look cute" Sienna says with a tone of approval

I grin, "As do you"

Zoe claps, "Let's roll"

There was already music blasting inside from the main house.... So much for subtle. There's quite a lot of us here, I do wonder how many people are actually on that tour right now. The football team didn't fail at their job, the tables are covered with all sorts of drinks.

Zoe pours herself a cup of whiskey whilst Sienna pours herself some tequila. I'm sticking to my favourite.... Vodka, I take a bottle before twisting the cap open and taking a slice of lime. "Are you ever gonna get over your fear and use a solo cup?" Zoe says amused

"Nope" I reply before taking a swig

I missed the disgustingly addictive taste that it would always bring, vodka is my spirit drink if that even makes any sense. I'm kind of a lightweight so I can get drunk after five or six shots. I danced with Zo and Macey for a little while, but eventually I got tired and decided that I needed some fresh air. I close my bottle before taking a step outside and enjoying the breeze that's currently hitting against my face, I walked far away enough for the music to sound like a faint tune.

To be honest all I can think about is the argument that I had with Carter, I mean why would he even suggest that I tell my family when he basically promised that he'd tell no one. Am I right to trust him?

As I'm thinking I feel the presence of someone behind me, my initial thought was Carter but I'm getting a different vibe.... Fuck, I may be wasted. But then I turn around and it seems that I was right, "Eliza?" I say confused

She smiles at me sarcastically, "I wanted to see for myself what he saw in you"

I frown, "Who?"

"Don't play dumb you whore"

Ah, so this is about Carter

"Look I didn't force him to do anything-

"It's not exactly a coincidence that he ended things with me and is now all touchy feely with you" She says annoyed

"You know I actually felt bad for you, you were trying so hard to keep a non existent relationship alive-

She slaps me across the face and my head turns to the side, I scoff as I hold my cheek with shock. "I knew you were jealous of me, I just didn't think this much-

"How exactly am I the jealous one when you told June lies in order to get her to hate me" I snap

"What lies did I tell" She says amused

"You told her that I was making fun of her for her weight, sound familiar?"

"I was doing her a favour, she wasn't getting anywhere by being friends with you-

"Your even more delusional than I thought" I mutter

Eliza folds her arms, "Look I didn't even come here to discuss June. The bottom line is, I want you to stay away from Carter"

"And since when have I ever given a fuck about what you want?"

She starts walking around me so I find myself having to turn every now and then, "You might wanna start now"

"And why's that?"

"Because I'm sure you don't want everyone at school to find out about your little secret" She says amused

I frown, "What secret?"

She finally stops circling around me, "The one about you having an eating disorder" Eliza says simply

I felt my heart drop in that moment, I think my face went a ghostly white too. My brain is lagging right now and it's taking everything in me not to hurt this bitch

"I don't have an eating disorder"

She snorts, "Yes you do"

"How are you trying to tell me about myself?-

"The amount of weight that you managed to lose in just a few weeks was honestly shocking to me. You know at first I thought hey, maybe she's finally realising that she needs changing. But then I fully assessed you and well....-

She tuts as she looks me up and down, "Your starting to lose your ass"

That one hurt I'm not gonna lie

I narrow my eyes as she starts to laugh, "And then I saw the way you were cutting up your stake like a little kid whilst we were at the Miller house, it was honestly the cutest thing ever. Your pathetic Carmen"

I couldn't even come up with a come back or say anything in return, I was too hurt to speak. "So what are we thinking for the Instagram caption. Bulimic whore-.... Oh wait what about anorexic Rodriguez-

I clench my jaw. "What do you want from me"

She smiles, "That's more like it"

"Leave Carter alone, go back to when you never used to speak to him" Eliza says seriously

Done

"What about my job" I whisper

She waves it off, "I could care less about the quiet kid, keep the job"

I wipe my eyes quickly and she pats my back, "Go back to working out until you don't feel fat anymore, you'll thank me later"

I frown with a whisper, "How did you-

"I've seen you at the gym"

I don't respond and she takes my silence as a victory, "Pleasure doing business with you"

Eliza walks back up to the house and I close my eyes as a single tear drops down my face. I said that she had something up her sleeve and indeed she did....

I drink from my bottle before heading in the opposite direction of the main house, fuck this camping trip.

-JUNE-
"Want one?" Logan asks

"Uhh no thanks" I reply

"Fuck, it's Cadell!" Aaron shouts as he looks out of the window

The music quietens and everyone mumbles profanities before rushing to pick up every cup and every bottle, I swear I've never seen these people move around so quickly. Carter helped Dylan with the speaker whilst everyone else worked on clearing away all the mess. We didn't manage to pack up everything but at the same time, we weren't trying to get caught

We all piled out of the main house using the back door to avoid being seen. Logan stops running after noticing me stop, "June?"

"I'll be there in a sec"

I frown as I look into the distance, Eliza told me she was going back to our room..... so what the heck is she doing with Carmen outside?

I don't have a clue what happened but she's just walked away looking quite proud of herself whilst Carmen has walked away with a look of hurt, pain and defeat..... she's in tears
