Vasuki declared, "Unga kalyanathai naanga nadaththave illaye, unga reception naanga nadaththamaattom."

Meanwhile, Ragini, who was eavesdropping on their conversation from upstairs, was shattered after hearing Vasuki's words.

Arjun came there and asked Vasuki to calm down. He escorted her to her room, which was located upstairs. While walking to her room, Vasuki noticed Ragini standing nearby.

"Vikram kalyanam nadanthathai pathi nee yenda enkitta sollala?" Vasuki asked Arjun.

Arjun said, "Maduraila neenga santhoshama irukkinganu Naren sonnaan."

"Indha visayaththai solli unga santhoshaththai kedukkavendamnu sollala; ennai mannichirunga paatti," Arjun said as he apologised to Vasuki.

"Nee pannadhu thappey illada mannippu ketkadhe," Vasuki said, caressing his hair.

"Sari paatti konjam neram rest edunga," Arjun said as he walked out of Vasuki's room.

Meanwhile, Rajashekharan asked Vikram to go to Bangalore because the clients wanted to meet him, and he asked Vikram to stay there for a few days to monitor the project's progress. Ragini became angry when Vikram refused to take her to Bangalore.

Ragini went to Sanjana's wedding. Meera was also there. Meera asked, "Ragini, how are you?"

"I am fine," Ragini answered. "Why hasn't Vikram come?" questioned Meera.

"He left for Bangalore to meet clients," Ragini answered. Meera noticed that Ragini was sad.

She took Ragini to a room and asked, "Ragini, what's bothering you?"

Ragini broke down and said, "Vikram's family hasn't accepted me; his paternal grandmother made it clear that they are not going to host our wedding reception."

Ragini confided in Meera by telling her everything that happened after her marriage.

Meera hugged Ragini and asked, "What about Vikram?" "Hasn't he supported you?"

"Vikram was very busy with his work; whenever I was worried about our marital life, he used to console me," Ragini said.

"His family members haven't accepted me as a member of their family; initially, I thought his brothers would support us, but they are also in favour of the family," Ragini said, expressing her helplessness.

"His father was an obstinate individual; whenever he tries to convince his dad, it will end up in an argument," Ragini said.

"Recently, after the heated argument, his father came to him the next day as if nothing had happened and asked him to go to Bangalore in order to meet clients and monitor the progress of the project; he has to stay there for some days, God only knows how many days," Ragini said, venting her frustration.

"Calm down, Ragini; take some time to think and decide what's best for you," Meera advised after listening to Ragini's problems.

Ragini said, "My dad was also worried about my marital life, and he was quite upset that my in-laws' family refused to host a wedding reception to officially announce that both Vikram and I got married."

"Vikram loves you a lot, Ragini; I am sure that he will convince his family," Meera said, comforting Ragini.

"I don't know, Meera, but I have realised one thing: love alone is not enough to make a marriage successful," said Ragini.

Meera was taken aback when she heard Ragini's words, which clearly indicated that "Ragini had lost hope regarding her marital life."

"Everything will be fine, Ragini," Meera assured her before leaving the room with Ragini and walking onto the stage with Ragini to wish the newly married couple well.

Ragini arrived at her in-laws' house after attending Sanjana's wedding, where she noticed Arjun joking and having fun with a girl, but what surprised her was that Vasuki was very nice to that girl.

"We are going to shock Naren by giving him a shocking surprise!" Both of them shouted, and Vasuki laughed at their antics.

"Avanuku vera velai illa eppo parthaalum ooru suththuradhu thaan velai," Nirmitha said.

"Naan romba busy aunty," she continued.

"Aaama aama face pack podrennu solli pei vesham pottu veettukku varavangala bayamuruththura velaila madam romba busy aa iruppanga," Arjun said.

"Enna Nimmi Madam, naan solradhu sarithaana?" Arjun asked, teasing Nirmitha.

"Face pack poduvennu ennai kindal pannriya poda," she said, smacking Arjun's head.

Ragini was shocked when she witnessed Vikranth and Rajashekharan being very cordial towards Nirmitha. Nirmitha invited them to her brother Naren's birthday party tomorrow. After having dinner, Arjun dropped Nirmitha off at her home.

The next evening, everyone went to Naren's birthday party. The gathering was intimate. There were only a few people there. Except for Rajashekharan's family, Naren's parents only invited two more families. Naren's parents shocked him by introducing him to the girl they want him to marry.

Vikranth was flabbergasted when he saw the girl because it was none other than Mahima, the girl he is madly in love with.

Vikranth interfered and said, "Aunty, it's his life; let him decide."

"We are his parents, and we know what's best for him, Vikranth," said Naren's mom.

"Anyway, you both have to get married, and the engagement will take place tomorrow," said Mahima's mom.

After hearing Mahima's mother's words, Vikranth was shocked. He went towards Mahima's parents and told them that she wouldn't marry Naren.

"Why wouldn't she marry Naren?" asked Mahima's dad.

"Because she doesn't love Naren," Vikranth answered.

"She will love him after marriage; that's how arranged marriages work," said Mahima's dad.

"Everyone has the right to marry the person they love," stated Vikranth.

"Why were you so concerned about our daughter's life, Vikranth?" "She's just a friend of yours," Mahima's dad said.

"Because I love her, uncle; in fact, Mahima also loves me," Vikranth confessed.

"Oh, really, have you ever proposed to me?" Mahima asked Vikranth.

"No," Vikranth said.

"Have I ever told you that I love you?" Mahima asked.

"No," answered Vikranth.

"How could you say I love you then?" Mahima asked.

"Stop it!" Naren yelled. "I don't care who loves whom, but I love Divya, and I will marry her only," he said.

"Un kanmunnadiye nee love panravanudaya parents avanukkum innoru ponnukkum kalyanam panna nenaikkiranga nee sambandhame illadha maadhiri vedikkai pakkure epdi di unnala ipdi irukka mudiyudhu?" Naren asked Divya.

"Arjun and Nimmi informed everyone here except his family about this plan," Divya explained.

"What the hell is going on here?" "Why have you both created so much drama?" Vikranth questioned both Arjun and Nirmitha.

"We did all of this drama to get our brothers to reveal their feelings for the girls they like in front of our families and the families of the girls they like," Arjun and Nirmitha said in unison.

"You have all the time in the world to scold us; now go find a way to propose to your girlfriend," Arjun said.

"You have to propose to me properly," Mahima said as she walked away when Vikranth approached her, making Vikranth sigh helplessly.

Nimmi told Naren to make a wish as he was about to blow out the candles. "You and Arjun have already granted my wish; what else do I want?" said Naren. Naren blew out the candles and cut the cake, first feeding it to Arjun and hugging him. He then fed it to everyone else. The party ended on a happy note, with Naren and his family members thanking everyone for coming.

Ragini anticipated that Rajashekharan and Vasuki would chastise Arjun. But there was no anger on their faces. She expected them to scold him once they got home.

After reaching home, Rajashekharan started chastising Arjun by saying, "Arjun, I don't like the way you behaved at the party by creating a scene; you have to behave in a sensible way."

"Why don't you care about our family reputation?" Rajashekharan asked Arjun.

"Dad, this," Arjun was about to say something, but his words were cut short by Vasuki, who said, "Shekhar, ivan ippdi nadanthukittadhuku naan thaan kaaranam avanukku athigama chellam kuduththu valarthen adhu thappaa pochchu."

"Paatti, Naan Sollradhu Kelunga," Arjun said. "Naan sollradhu nee kelu daa," stated Rajashekharan.

"Nimmiyum neeyum indha vishayaththai enga kitta sollirundhaa naangalum ungalaku help panniruppom," Rajashekharan said.

"Nee ippdi patta oru plan pottu idhellam senjadhunaala thaan mahimavai love panra vishayaththai Vikranth than vaayala sollirukkan," Rajashekharan said with a smile, surprising Arjun.

"Ennada Unakkum Nimmivukkum mattum thaan prank panna theriyum engalaku theriyadhunnu nenaichiya?" Rajashekharan asked, leaving Arjun speechless.

"Shekhar nee vilayandadhu podhum niruththu Arjun erkanve kulambipoyirukkaan," Vasuki said.

"Ennayum Nimmivayum vida neenga romba sirappa prank pannringa," Arjun told Vasuki and Rajashekharan.

Ragini was shocked upon seeing the way Rajashekharan and Vasuki reacted. She never expected that they would be okay with the prank played by Nimmi and Arjun. Ragini was eavesdropping on their conversation from upstairs.

Ragini realised that Arjun has the capability to convince Vasuki and Rajashekharan. She decided to ask Arjun about the reason why he hadn't helped her and Vikram.

Ragini went towards the study room, where Arjun was engrossed in reading a novel, and asked him, "Why haven't you helped Vikram and me by convincing your family to accept our marriage?"

She further went on to ask, "You have supported Naren's love; he is just a friend of yours; then why can't you support your brother's love?"

"You have supported your brother Vikranth's love; Vikram is your brother also, but you haven't supported Vikram's love," Ragini said.

Ragini mustered enough courage to confront Arjun by asking one final question. "Why are you so biassed against Vikram?"

Arjun was irritated after hearing Ragini's remarks. But Arjun became enraged when she accused him of being biassed against Vikram. Ragini was blown away when she heard his response.
