Can you all believe how fast time passes.
It's already been two months since Kriti and Aryan got married.

To be honest, pregnant Kriti is really difficult to handle, but Aryan has developed quite a lot of patience.

And there's something special today.

It's my Arjun's birthday
As much as I'm happy about it, I'm kind of sad he's not here.

Before you all ask, he's at the hospital, for some emergency. We were all waiting to bring in birthday when at 11:30 there was an emergency call. And as a great doctor that he is, he went within minutes.

According to mom he should be here in a hour or so.
So I'm going to help mom prepare his favorite birthday breakfast till thag time.

As I entered the kitchen, I saw Mom feeding Kriti who was sitting on the Kitchen counter.

"Ohh, Krisha, good taht you came. So sit beakde her, I'll feed you too. " She said giving me the smile which just makes my day better.

"No mom, you feed her. I'll eat with Arjun. " I said giving her a small smile, and went towards the stove, to see that almost all preparations were done for his favorite birthday breakfast.

And don't be surprised, but it's Aloo puri. Like literally who eats Aloo Puri as a birthday breakfast. My man does.

So yeah, we're preparing that.

"About that, Krisha... Actually... " She started but stopped midway.

"Yes mom? Any problem? " I asked, looking at Kriti who gave me a really innocent smile.

"Yeah, actually he's still at the office and would come now directly at night. So you should have your breakfast. We'll prepare him the dinner. " She said giving me a smile, which I returned.

"Ok mom, I'll just get changes and go to the office, since he is not gonna be here anytime soon, and as it is, we're not gonna through a party. So... " I said and she nodded.

Not gonna lie I felt a little bad hearing her.

C'mon man it's his first birthday since we got married and I haven't even wished him yet. How bad does my luck is gonna be.

I texted him at exactly midnight but he has not seen it till now. And it's going to be 8 in the morning.

I know this because it's been eight hours since I sent him a text and he's not replied to it yet.

But I guess that's your life when you're married to an all time working doctor.

I quickly got changed, had my breakfast and proceeded to the office.

I don't know much, but I know one thing for sure, He is going to be here in the afternoon or maybe in the evening.

Of coure he's gonna bring me lunch. I don't think that is going to change in our relationship.

Ok, so it's currently 3 pm and I guess, God hasn't written a little happiness in my life. I so wanted to show Arjun the little surprise I got for him, but I guess, it would be shifted tomorrow.

Dejected, I closed the cake box and was about to keep it in the fridge when my office door opened.
And yes, he was finally here.

"Hey jaan... So sorry I'm late. " He said and before he could say anything further, I threw my arms around his neck, taking him in a tight hug.

"Happy birthday!! " I said, and I can feel that I got a bit emotional considering how bad I was feeling the whole day. I guess Arjun did too, so he parted us and looked at me with those beautiful eyes of his.

"Sweetheart, it's my birthday. I know I won't look this handsome when I grow old, but c'mon that's not a reason to cry. " He said wiping my tears, and it did make me even giggle a bit.

"Now smile... She what I got for us. Our lunch. Come, let's have it. " He said and we both proceeded to the table and couch, and served ourselves.

Before he could take the first bite, I quickly made one and fed him, and the joy on his face, was just out of the world.

"I'm so glad that you finally took out some time. " I said as I laid my head on his shoulder after we finished eating.

"Of course, I took out time. There's no way I'm gonna miss our lunches. " He said which made me smile a little.

"I have a surprise for you! " I announced and he looked at me for a second as if I had grown two horns.

"It's actually good. I worked very hard with my brain. I had to do a lot of brainstorming for this gift, so I guess you'll like it. Anyways, even if you don't, I don't think I would ever know it. " I said a brought a box.

"Just open it thinking you're gonna be disappointed. It would make the gift better. " I said, and he looked at me with a serious expression, before opening the gift.

I just prayed that he liked it, but seeing his eyes struck on the gift, I don't really know now.

"I'm sorry. I think you didn't like it. I'll just try and exchange and bring something better. " I said trying to take the box from his hand, but he brushed it off as he pulled me into a hug.

"It's the best gift ever... " He whispered in my ear and gave me a long forehead kiss before touching our forehead together.

And just to tell you, the gift was actually a name plate. Or as many of you know the personalized desk name plate. And in there was my name.

Krisha Arjun Raichand.

It does sound very great.

I broke the moment, and daid" Just sk you know, I'm not gonna throw the original one. I would just have the two of them now."
Cause according to legal papers, he is my husband but I haven't changed my name yet, because my Aunt will get an opportunity that since I'm no longer a Mahajan, I shouldn't be the CEO. She's weird.

"Yeah sure. " He said giving me a smile and hugging me again.

"And one more surprise! " I said, breaking the hug.

"I'm sorry, but are you really my Krisha?" He asked with a surprised tone.

"Of course, what makes you think I'm not? " I asked rolling my eyes.

"Nothing, but seriously, when was the last time you gave a surprise to someone. " He replied in a sarcastic tone.

"Umm... Let me think... I guess... Forget it, I can't remember. But you'll like the one I'm gonna give you now. " I said and he nodded with a smile.

"So close your eyes. " I said and he did it in an instant.

I quickly went and brought the cake for small fridge that I have in my cabin. I hated it, but right now I'm glad about it.

"Open your eyes. " I said, holding the cake in front of him.

He opened my eyes, and the genuine surprise and excitement in them was the best thing ever.
"A chocolate cake? " He asked surprised and I nodded.

"I baked it. " I said, and damn that lovely look that he gave me.

"Oh, it's the best birthday ever. " He said.

After that he cut the cake, and as soon as I fed him, he literally snatched the cake from my hands and ate the complete thing.

"You should've atleast let me taste it. " I huffed to which he sheepishly smiled.

"Too bad I finished it. " He said giving me the most kiddish laugh ever.
