Chapter 60: Solitude

Present

It's still the same day

Miyeon: Soyeon you need to do something that you should have done on the day before we first met.

Soyeon: Which is what??

Miyeon: Stop trying to ruin others just to gain your sympathy just because you couldn't admit to your selfish acts

Miyeon: You haven't changed and I wished for you to stop acting like your old self back then before you could get someone and yourself hurt.

Soyeon just stands there as she didn't say a word.

Soyeon's mind: Have I done the same thing to Minnie before??

Soyeon's mind: Yes I have and I should never get her into trouble but she did this to herself

Soyeon's mind: Miyeon is right

Soyeon's mind: What's the point of admitting to things if you're going to do the same again and again??

Soyeon's mind: This is A plan's

Soyeon's mind: I hated myself more than anybody else who could ever hate me.

Miyeon: Soyeon *she called her name*

Miyeon: Soyeon

Soyeon's thoughts are interrupted by her best friend Miyeon who is concerned about her. Miyeon quickly apologized for going off at her but she wouldn't ever apologize for trying to warn her because she doesn't want Soyeon to keep getting herself in trouble. All Miyeon did is trying to help her and Soyeon only doubted her because she doesn't want Miyeon to be all in her business.

Miyeon doesn't want things to be ended all because of this broken friendship.

Soyeon wanted all of this to go away

A is still in their game of trying to throw these girls off.

Once a video that was being shown about Minnie and Soyeon, Yuqi came back and she looked like she was running out of breath. So Miyeon asked her what is going on and also asked her about Shuhua. Yuqi told her and Soyeon that Shuhua just took off out of nowhere and she doesn't know where she is now.

Yuqi also told them that Shuhua already had breakfast before she left then she shows them the video about Shuhua on her phone.

The three girls aren't shocked because they knew what will happen next.

After all, A is still here right now.

They also received a text from A.

Unknown: I told you that this isn't over and I'm not done yet

Unknown: You should hurry your way out of the dark and just confess everything before I will - A

The three girls looked at each other.

Soyeon: Ugh I can't take this anymore now can we track down that bitch down?? *said it in an angry tone*

Miyeon: Btw where is Minnie?? *she asked her*

Soyeon: I don't know after A sent me the video and text, me and Minnie had a fight then she just took off without letting me explain something to her. I knew that Minnie wouldn't believe it because the other clip in the video is fake but Minnie didn't believe me and blamed this all on me.

Yuqi: Do you think that Minnie and Shuhua are planning to run away??

Yuqi asked them.

Miyeon and Soyeon looked over at Yuqi with confused looks on their faces.

Miyeon: What do you mean that they're planning to run away??

Soyeon: Yuqi do you know where could Minnie and Shuhua be??

Yuqi sighs.

Yuqi: No but I can track down their phones to know where the two of them could have gone to.

Yuqi pulls out her phone as she tracked down Minnie and Shuhua's phones to the GPS maps app.

The next phase is about being stuck in the dark and more of their secrets and lies are still being followed on every move and the girls couldn't move on.

Not even Soojin couldn't move on and she knows that A is planning to do to them now

Soojin is done with everything that has been going on around her. She even wanted the girls to just give her another chance for a little reunion to happen.

Rumors say that Soojin isn't tuning in for a reunion and either way she still misses them so much.

The girls couldn't have done it without Soojin.

Also, more videos are being posted about them online again. Even the ones that are fake and so on.

The five girls are in trouble

Their darkest secret will never be revealed out of the open

That's exactly what A just said to Soyeon.

A wanted them to lose everything that they had especially Soyeon.

Miyeon: Not again are you seeing this??

Soyeon and Yuqi nodded.

Soyeon and Yuqi: Yup we're just seeing this right now

Miyeon's mind: It's like we're being stuck into isolation that we could never get out of

Miyeon's mind: God why does my head hurts so much for me to try to remember??

Miyeon's mind: Are some of my memories erased??

Yuqi: Miyeon are you okay??

Miyeon looked like she was almost about to faint as she falls to the floor. Soyeon and Yuqi are right by her side as Yuqi ran out of the room to get a few things for Miyeon. Soyeon stays with her until Yuqi came back then she tries to wake her up.

Miyeon is still unconscious.

Soyeon and Yuqi carry Miyeon to the living room. Once Miyeon just opened her eyes, Miyeon starts to panic and also go crazy as Soyeon and Yuqi helped her out until Miyeon calmed herself down. Miyeon had tears in her eyes as she hugged Soyeon and Yuqi.

She begged them not to leave and also begged them not to leave her.

Soyeon and Yuqi are still hugging her.

Miyeon is still in tears.

Miyeon's mind: Have I gone crazy??

Miyeon's mind: What is happening to me??

Soyeon: Miyeon it's okay

Miyeon is scared.

Miyeon: Soyeon... have I gone crazy??

Soyeon: Miyeon you are not crazy this is all A's stupid master plan

Soyeon: This is exactly what A wanted us to do from the beginning.

Miyeon: What. are. we.. going.. to do?? *she is still in tears*

Yuqi: We need to find Minnie and Shuhua and they could be in danger Soyeon. *said it in a worried tone*

Soyeon: I know that Yuqi

Soyeon: I just need to think THIS IS ALL TOO MUCH

Soyeon's mind: This is all too much

Soyeon's mind: Miyeon fainted and she had a breakdown

Soyeon's mind: Minnie and Shuhua are missing and I don't know what A is up to with their stupid plan

Yuqi's mind: This is like the forgotten friendship all over again

Yuqi's mind: We knew that too many of our secrets are being exposed

Yuqi's mind: It's just like what Soojin has been planning before we found out that she was A all this time

Yuqi's mind: For us to be drifted forever

Yuqi's mind: Is this how we wanted it all this time from the moment when we are best friends??

Yuqi's mind: I don't even want to imagine it anymore.

Yuqi: Soyeon I got the location of where Minnie and Shuhua are heading *she shows the map to her on her phone*

Soyeon saw it as she nodded then she looks back at Miyeon who is lying down on the couch looking afraid and devasted.

Yuqi: We need to go now

Before Yuqi walked out of the door, Soyeon pulls her back and looked at her with worry in her eyes.

Soyeon: But what about Miyeon??

Soyeon: We can't just leave her or else A tries to break into our house so A can torture her while we are out.

Yuqi looked at Miyeon.

Yuqi: Oh I guess you're right Soyeon

Yuqi: What if Minnie and Shuhua are in trouble right now?? A could be after them too you know.

Soyeon's mind: Great just great

Soyeon's mind: Why is this keep happening??

Soyeon's mind: A has caused us so much pain and trauma

Miyeon: You two are leaving me??

Miyeon said it in an upset voice.

Soyeon: Miyeon no we are not leaving not until you can get better

Yuqi: But Soyeon---

Soyeon shushed her and told her to trust me on this one so Yuqi nodded as she came toward Miyeon to the couch and also comforts her.

Soyeon: I will always take care of you

Soyeon placed her hands on Miyeon's cheeks.

Miyeon: Soyeon... I'm so... scared

Miyeon cried.

Soyeon: I know I know

Soyeon: I'm scared too

Soyeon: We need to find Minnie and Shuhua before they could end up in danger and before A tries to get them.

Miyeon wiped her tears.

Miyeon: What are you going to do??

Soyeon: You are coming with me and Yuqi

Soyeon: I will always be right by you and take care of you along the way.

Soyeon: Please trust me on this Miyeon

Miyeon nodded.

Miyeon: Okay

Soyeon hugs her tightly.

Soyeon: Good girl

Miyeon's mind: Why do we have to be ended up on a battlefield??

Miyeon's mind: I guess we can't win the battle until one of us gets hurt

Miyeon's mind: This is exactly what A wanted and we just feeding it to he/she or whatever

Yuqi is almost about to freak out after she receives a text from Minnie.

Yuqi: Umm we need to go right now

Soyeon: Baby what's wrong??

Yuqi: Minnie texted me and sent me a video look *she shows it to Soyeon*

Soyeon clenches her fist in anger.

Soyeon: That's it

Soyeon: We're leaving right now

Miyeon: Soyeon what happened??

Soyeon: We don't have much time and I'll explain it to you later Miyeon but right now we're going to find Minnie and Shuhua.

Soyeon and Yuqi are searching for Minnie and Shuhua with Miyeon came along because they don't want her to be alone at home.

Meanwhile

A few hours later

Minnie and Shuhua are planning an escape after they almost ended up in a car accident.

A little warning: Panic attack

Minnie and Shuhua are running away together without looking back. The two girls also received a text from A as they make a run for it.

Once again, A tries to run Shuhua over but thank goodness that Minnie came to her rescue. Shuhua has gotten scared because this isn't the first time that has happened to her.

Shuhua almost being hit by a car when she and Miyeon fought the night before Miyeon left them behind on that night. Shuhua would never forget the tragic moment and she receives nightmares because of it.

Shuhua told Minnie that it was her fault for all of this that had started and she wishes to go back in time to the day when she and her best friends are sharing their last moment.

Minnie told her that it wasn't her fault and also said that we are the ones to blame because if their friendship hadn't gotten toxic then maybe all of this needs to stop.

At the same time, it doesn't always work, and Minnie had learned it from the best, and she couldn't have done it without her.

The two girls still ran as fast as they can once they saw A heading in their direction and let out a scream.

Minnie and Shuhua are calling out for help but nobody hasn't come to their rescue.

They don't know which way to go and they need to hurry before A comes in their direction to get them.

Minnie: Which way we should go??

Shuhua: I don't know

Shuhua: We shouldn't have stormed off like that

Minnie agreed with her.

Minnie: Same

Minnie: I have gotten so mad at Soyeon for that video because she is the reason why I had gotten into trouble with the police and also had an ankle bracelet on.

Shuhua: Wait what did you do??

Shuhua asked her.

Minnie sighs.

Minnie: Last year, Me and Soyeon went to this party that we have been invited to. Once it's starting to get pretty dark out, I have gotten so drunk and Soyeon convinced me to not drive because I was drunk. I didn't listen to her and the moment that I knew that drunk driving is dangerous, I started driving. At that moment, Me and Soyeon were almost about to be hit but we didn't because Soyeon had saved me.

Minnie: That's why I ended up with the ankle bracelet on

After Minnie is done explaining the story to Shuhua, Shuhua told her that she did the wrong thing but at least Minnie learned her lesson. Minnie hit her on the shoulder as she playfully rolled her eyes at her.

Minnie got annoyed by her.

Minnie: Oh shut up Shuhua

Shuhua giggled.

Shuhua: No seriously I'm just glad that you and Soyeon didn't get hurt on that night also you're lucky that Soyeon saved your ass

Minnie gives her a small smile.

Shuhua: We need a place to hide before A comes

Minnie: Right so how the hell are we going to find a place to hide??

Minnie asked her.

Minnie is still freaking out right now because A is still after her and Shuhua

Shuhua spotted a house.

Shuhua: Minnie look *she points at the house that she just spotted*

Minnie saw the house too.

Minnie: Alright you found it now let's get out of here

Minnie and Shuhua ran and ran as fast as they can for them to get away from A. The two girls have made it to the house Minnie opens the door then she and Shuhua went inside the house.

Minnie closes the door and locks it.

Minnie and Shuhua felt relieved because they are safe and sound at the house.

Shuhua: We're safe in here for now

Minnie: Wow this house looks a bit frantic but fantastic

Minnie walk around the house as she was exploring and begins to touch things around the house.

Shuhua rolled her eyes.

Shuhua: Minnie this is not the time to be playing house tour

Shuhua: We will stay hidden until someone comes in to rescue us. I'll just text Soyeon that we are okay here at someone's house or whatever.

Shuhua just sent out a text to Soyeon.

Shuhua: Me and Minnie are okay

Shuhua: We got away from A and we are hiding in a nearby house

Shuhua is waiting for Soyeon to text her back until she did.

Soyeon: Thank goodness you two are okay

Soyeon: Where are you and Minnie??

Shuhua responded to her back.

Shuhua: I'll show you the location

*She sends her the location and address*

Shuhua: Please hurry

Soyeon: Me and Yuqi are coming along with Miyeon just stay hidden until we have arrived

Shuhua: Okay thank you Soyeon

Shuhua: Love you

Soyeon: Love you too Shushu

Shuhua had stopped texting Soyeon.

Minnie: What are we going to do now??

Shuhua: I just texted Soyeon and she said that we need to stay here until she has arrived with Yuqi and Miyeon

Minnie: Seriously?? What if A starts to barge in to try and get us??

Minnie: I don't want to be ended back to the hospital again *she starts to panic*

Minnie: Oh... my... God. *she is breathing heavily*

Shuhua: Minnie you need to calm down

Minnie nodded as she is still breathing heavily.

Minnie: I CAN'T CALM DOWN

Shuhua: Minnie where is your inhaler??

Minnie pointed to her purse on the floor so Shuhua grabs her purse she opens and then she grabs the inhaler out of the purse.

Shuhua holds onto her as she puts it into Minnie's mouth and Minnie breathes into the inhaler.

Minnie feels a lot calm as she hugs Shuhua tightly.

Minnie: Thank... you...

Shuhua: Of course Minnie Mouse

Minnie: How long are we going to be staying here??

Minnie asked her.

Shuhua sighs.

Shuhua: We're just going to wait until Soyeon has arrived. She is coming in less than a few minutes so we just have to wait a little while longer.

Minnie huffs and puffs.

Minnie: Now I'm getting bored and I am hungry *she whined*

Shuhua: Me too now I am really hungry

Minnie and Shuhua laughed.

The two girls also chit-chat for a while longer until Soyeon is going to arrive with Yuqi and Miyeon. Minnie also told Shuhua a story about a time when she and Shuhua once cheated on a test the two of them got detention but they manage to ditch it without their parents knowing.

Well, only Minnie's parents found out and she got grounded for a month.

Shuhua: Oh yeah I remember

Shuhua: You got grounded for a month lmao *she laughed*

Minnie: It's not funny and not fair

Minnie: You lucky that you haven't got grounded for a month

Shuhua teases her as she sticks her tongue out.

Shuhua: It is a bit funny Minnie

Minnie glares at her.

Minnie: It's funny how A hasn't shown up to come and get us

Shuhua: Maybe A is tired of looking for us so the psycho just gives up

Minnie: Yeah you're right

Minnie: I hope Soyeon, Yuqi, and Miyeon are okay

Shuhua: Same here

All of a sudden, Minnie and Shuhua heard a honking sound coming from outside so Shuhua looked through the window and saw Soyeon and Yuqi heading this way. Minnie and Shuhua called out for them as the two girls came out of the house. Soyeon came towards them and hugged Minnie and Shuhua.

Yuqi on the other hand hugged Minnie.

Shuhua is still mad at Yuqi after a fight with her yesterday. Yuqi is about to talk to Shuhua but she ignored her and told Yuqi that they can talk later.

Yuqi: Shuhua I'm really---

Shuhua: Let's talk about this later Yuqi okay??

Yuqi nodded.

Soyeon: Thank goodness you two are okay

Soyeon: Me, Yuqi and Miyeon have been worrying sick

Soyeon: What are you even thinking for you to run out like that??

Soyeon said it in a stern tone.

Minnie and Shuhua looked directly at each other.

Minnie: We are so sorry Soyeon

Shuhua: Yeah we are sorry Soyeon

Minnie: It's just that A texted me and Shuhua and also sent us videos.

Minnie: Soyeon I have gotten so mad at you since that night when I was drunk driving because you warned me but I didn't listen. It's all my fault for putting you into that position because I don't know what might happen if you hadn't stopped me.

Minnie looks upset as she started to cry.

Soyeon hugs her tightly.

Minnie: I'm... so... sorry... Soyeon

Minnie cried and cried.

Minnie: I'm so sorry

Soyeon: Minnie it's okay but you need to know how to be careful next time because I don't want you to keep making those dumb decisions.
