Chapter 15: Nothing Lasts Forever

It will be quick I try to put it all together in this chapter as fast as I can

Present

It's still the same day

One day I'll fall

I'll fall into the matters of my own hands and could only see the light

This isn't how it supposed to go

I'll fall back into another trap that we can never get out of

After the girls are done having a meeting.

Minnie just sat onto the grass while leaning against the tree peacefully as she plays the guitar and sing a song while looking up at the blue sky.

Once she is done singing a song and stop playing the guitar, she begins to wonder herself if she can ever find any happiness around her.

Nothings forever

Minnie could only think about the only person in the world right now.

Miyeon is the only person that she could think of right now.

She were her best friend and still is her best friend now.

She still wouldn't never ever forgive her on that night.

That night changes everything.

That night ruins the moment of their friendship and now it feels like it's almost about to get to the end of it.

The end of it all.

Minnie wouldn't never let anything happen like ever.

If only she wishes that things were meant to be kept forever and ever.

Miyeon and Minnie haven't quite figured things out on their own.

Minnie is afraid of letting it go

She is afraid that her best friend will leave her again like last time.

In her nightmares, words couldn't be described on how Minnie is feeling after all of this. Minnie couldn't sleep like a four nights in the row. She will only comes to Miyeon and she lets her in the room for only one night.

Miyeon tries talking to her for days and days when she came back.

Everytime Miyeon tries to talk to her and tries to explain, Minnie just gives her the silent treatment or yelled at her.

Minnie is tired of everything.

Minnie wishes to live her life like yesterday and she wouldn't never coming down.

Minnie takes out the writing book and begins to jotted things down. Then she got a text from Miyeon.

Miyeon: Hey where are you??

Miyeon: Is everything okay Minnie??

Miyeon: I know that you wouldn't talk to me but please let me explain things over with you.

Minnie had read her texts.

Minnie didn't answer her texts.

She doesn't even want to at all.

She still gives Miyeon the silent treatment.

A little flashback

Minnie: Miyeon please don't leave me *she is crying as she hugging her best friend so tightly*

Minnie: Please... please... don't leave me

Miyeon also shed tears in her eyes.

She pushes her then she walk away leaving Minnie bursting into more tears and still calling Miyeon out.

That was Miyeon's biggest mistake in her life

Back to the present

Minnie will never forget it.

Before she's about to send Miyeon a text back from her, she looks up and saw someone tapping on her shoulder then she realized that Miyeon is here.

Minnie had no idea why is she here

At least Miyeon is here with her since Minnie starts to get a bit lonely.

Minnie: Miyeon what are you doing here??

Miyeon: I came here to see you since I am starting to get worried when you didn't answer my texts or calls.

Minnie sighed.

Minnie: Miyeon I'm so sorry for being such a stuck up jerk to you

Minnie: Why didn't you say anything about the unknown person who wanted you to leave your best friends behind for??

Miyeon wishes that she can answer to the question but she keeps remaining silent.

Miyeon: I don't know

Miyeon: Minnie whatever you do

Miyeon: Don't let someone try to ruin the fun and listen to everything that it is being said

Miyeon: I know that you wouldn't trust me anymore and that's fine but I'm not going to sit here and act like I did something so mind blowing that I was only trying to protect you Minnie.

Miyeon: I was only trying to protect my best friends *holds onto Minnie's hand*

After a day of talking, Miyeon and Minnie decided to put their friendship into the test.

They did hangout for a bit just for today.

Meanwhile

Finally Shuhua and Yuqi have talked things over.

Shuhua told her everything for what happened between them last summer.

Yuqi felt pretty stupid for not believing her and fall for a fake video that someone must of posted it.

Shuhua and Yuqi hugs it out.

Yuqi apologizes to her so Shuhua forgives her.

Shuhua: Yuqi I forgive you okay??

Shuhua: I don't know how can it be so hard for you to fall over the dumbest shit lmao *starts to laugh*

Yuqi felt a bit embarrassed at that.

Yuqi: I know and I'm really sorry

Shuhua: How about let get some pretzels??

Yuqi: Definitely because I'm hungry

Yuqi pouted.

Then Shuhua slaps her on the back of her head and starting to laugh.

Yuqi: OWWW

Yuqi: SHUHUA WHAT THE HELL??

Shuhua laugh.

Shuhua: This is payback for not believing me.

Yuqi giggle.

Yuqi: Okay fine I deserve that *she puts her arm around Shuhua as the two of them walk out of the door*

For the rest of the day, Shuhua and Yuqi stopped by for some pretzels that the two of them bought from the food cart around the corner.

Yuqi and Shuhua are the bestest pals ever.

Couple of hours later

Soyeon rushes to the bathroom as she starts to throw up in the toliet.

This is like the second time that she throws up even for the whole week.

She starts to feel nauseous.

Miyeon: Oh Soyeon are you kidding me??

Miyeon is always the first one to take care of her.

Miyeon and Soyeon have been treating each other like sisters.

Soyeon looks up and saw her.

Soyeon: Miyeon please you need to stop worrying too much. *wipe her mouth with her hand*

Soyeon: I'm fine

Miyeon: Soyeon you are not fine

Miyeon: You need to see a doctor

Soyeon: Aish would you stop?? Girly I am fine it's just a little sea sick inside of me that's all.

Miyeon: Soyeon look at me this isn't normal for you to kept getting sick like this and you probably making yourself throw up.

Soyeon gives her a glare.

Soyeon: First of all I don't even make myself throw up and second of all for the last time Miyeon. I'm fine okay??

Soyeon hugs her.

Soyeon: Please don't worry about me too much girly. *puts on a small smile*

Soyeon: I love you

Miyeon: I love you too Soyeon *she hugs her back*

Miyeon: I suggest for you to just see a doctor for once Soyeon. I'm getting really worried about your health especially that you are a half human and a half vampire.

Soyeon: Okay okay I will

Soyeon: Gosh you seemed a bit overprotective of me

Miyeon: Excuse me?? You are sometimes overprotective of me too a bunch of times.

Miyeon and Soyeon laughed.

The two of them are at the couch in the living room and just watching TV.

Once Miyeon and Soyeon are binge watching shows and just talked for a bit longer and also laughed at their jokes, Soyeon quickly falls alseep onto Miyeon while she's cuddling with her.

Miyeon kiss her on the forehead.

She also chilling and eating some snacks.

Miyeon wouldn't stand the chance of letting her go.

Time skip

It's night out

The five girls are meeting up once again.

This times it gets hard for them to get through the process after all of this.

The unknown person is still after them.

They don't know who it is and only assuming there is the only person left who really knows them too well.

It wasn't the same when Miyeon comes back.

It wasn't the same when her best friends find out that Miyeon leaves them behind without saying goodbye.

With the only ones standing, it is Yuqi and Minnie.

Also Miyeon, Soyeon and Shuhua staying outside by the bonfire.

Minnie and Yuqi are the ones at the bridge at night just looking at the stars at night appeared at the sky.

Yuqi starts to get teary and she's starting to get a bit chilly.

Minnie let her have the jacket to keep her warm.

Yuqi: Thanks Minnie *puts on a jacket*

Minnie: No problem *she noticed that her best friend is starting to get teary*

Minnie: Hey what's wrong??

Yuqi sighed and just shurgged her shoulders.

Yuqi: I don't know Minnie

Yuqi: I just don't feel safe other than being around with my girlfriend and my best friends.

Yuqi: I.... just.... just....

Minnie: Yuqi you can tell me anything

Minnie: You'll never be alone as long as I got your back

Yuqi smiled at her.

Yuqi: Minnie there is something that I need to tell you it's..... about.... about--

Yuqi started to puke and she doesn't look so good.

Minnie: Hey hey hey I got you okay??

Yuqi groan.

Yuqi: Oohhh this is so embarrassing

Yuqi: I'm so sorry

Minnie: Yuqi it's okay you just puke

Minnie: Maybe we should get back

Yuqi nodded in agreement.

Minnie and Yuqi went back home.

When the two of them get back home from the bridge, Minnie takes care of Yuqi for the night and also talked/play a board game together. The two of them also watch a movie and went to sleep until the next day arrives.

Yuqi's mind: I didn't get the chance to tell her

Yuqi's mind: This isn't happening

Yuqi's mind: This isn't happening to me again

Yuqi's mind: I'm so so so scared

Yuqi's mind: Nothing lasts forever

Yuqi's mind: Why we aren't meant to be together in the first place??

Yuqi's mind: Why am I the only one who is ahead to get closer to the truth??

Yuqi wakes up and tries not to panic.

She couldn't sleep.

Yuqi sees that Minnie is really falling alseep on the bed so she tries not to wake her up from a good night sleep.

She quickly had a water bottle as she is drinking water.

She lays back on the bed and looks up at the ceiling with her eyes starting to shed as it gets a bit of teary.

Yuqi: Why is this happening to me??

She pulls out her phone and texted Soyeon.

Yuqi: Babe I need you

Yuqi: I'm so scared please babe

There is no response from Soyeon.

Yuqi cried herself to sleep until the next morning.

Yuqi's mind: Nothing lasts forever

Yuqi's mind: As if you will be there for me
