*Meera's pov*

I was really happy. I dint knew what to say, getting a job has always been my dream. I was way too excited I ran to him and extended my hands to hug him but I suddenly realized what I am doing and backed off.

He smirked while I was embarrassed. IDIOT.

* Arjun's pov *

She was really happy and for some reason that made me happy too. I called Raghu ram sir and informed him about me giving her job. He wasn't happy or disappointed.

He just asked me to be careful and I understand his concern. Its not safe but I know I can protect her.

" Can I join today " she asked

" It's your choice " I replied

" Then I'm joining today " with that she ran upstairs.

I smiled seeing her. She's perfect example of beauty with brain. I went behind her and did my morning chores and came down.

Breakfast arrived and I was waiting for her. I dont know how long she's gonna get ready.

I saw her walking towards me and I've never seen such a pretty girl in my whole life. I saw something more beautiful than stars in her eyes. They were so pretty. The way she walks. The way she can pull off any outfit. She's just amazing girl that anyone can dream of.

We both ate breakfast together and meera just can't stop talking. I warned her to not to talk to anyone besides me.

We reached the offie and explained her everything about her work. I must say she's a fast learner.

She never used the phone I gave her.

Raghu ram sir called me and he said rajeev's people stopped searching for meera. I was shocked to hear this and I wonder why would he stop searching for her.

And there's no information regarding him. I should start investigating about him now.

I called Rahul to my cabin.
Rahul. My bestfriend and my business partner and person I trust the most.

Rahul barged inside and meera got scared. Rahul was about to hug me but his eyes fell on meera.

" who's this pretty lady " Rahul asked

" Meera "

" hey beautiful "

" Hi " she shyly smiled

I was quiet jealous seeing them together.

" Rahul will be helping you and I'm sorry meera I have a meeting in Germany. I have to leave"

Meera was quiet and she looked sad.
" Its okay arjun you can go " she passes me a smile but her smile dint reach her eyes like it always did.

" Dont worry buddy. Meera has her bestfriend now " Rahul said

To that which meera smiled.

" Well I'm not worried about her but I'm worried about you " I say to Rahul

Meera rolled her eyes and Rahul laughed hard.

I explained Rahul about everything and he understood the situation. He promised me that he'll protect her.

I should start my investigation now and this is why I lied to her about my meeting in Germany.

* Meera's pov *

Its been 1 week since he left and I wanted to see him. I dint message him or called him. I wanted him to message me but he didn't. Asshole.

Rahul picks me up daily and we work together in Arjun's cabin. Even Rahul dint let me meet anyone. Rahul is a great companion. He makes me laugh and I'm not bored around him.

He's more likely a brother to me and he protects me as if I'm his own sister.

There's a important meeting coming up and arjun said he'll be back by today and I'm so excited to meet him. I dont know why I feel like this about him but I missed him so much

It was lunch time and one of the worker bought me lunch.

"Mam arjun sir met with an accident" he said and the world shattered around me.

" Where is he " I asked

I" n the xxx hospital mam " He said

I called Rahul but he dint pickup so that I ran towards the car and asked driver to start the car. He denied but I threatened him that I'll go by myself in a taxi then you'll be fired.

He started the car and I asked the receptionist where is arjun and she replied room number 302

I kept looking left and right to find 302 but suddenly I stopped seeing a tall figure standing his back facing me. It was Arjun.

I ran towards him and hugged him from the back. " I missed you arjun. I'm glad you're fine " I say breaking down in tears.

He turned towards me and I jerked backwards seeing him. He wasn't arjun and he looked extremely dangerous. His dark eyes made me shiver.

" mam arjun sir's room is that way " he says with a wicked smile plastered on his face.

" who are you " I asked him

" I'm arjun sir's assistant" he said

Well he wasn't looking like a assistant but I was not in a state to think.

" mam please follow me " he said

I followed him and we entered to room but it was empty. He passed me a evil smirk seeing me and that's it darkness took place around me

* Arjun's pov *

Its been one week since I left. I was busy investigating about him. No wonder why he's called the most dangerous criminal in the world.

He was no where to be found.

He sent his men and threatened that he'll destroy me and I accepted the challenge. I wanted to kill him for killing my brother! But he left India and never came back. I lost my job because of him. I lost my everything

I still remember that day how he brutally killed my brother. I was in my own thoughts when raghu ram furiously came towards me and slapped me so hard.

I was in a complete shock.

" HOW DARE YOU ARJUN. HOW DARE YOU TO LEAK OUR DETAILS TO THE HIM!!! " he screamed at me and I looked at him confusingly

" Sir can you tell me what happened. I'm not understanding anything " I asked him

"WHATEVER PROOFS WE COLLECTED TILL DATE ABOUT HIM ARE MISSING ARJUN AND I HANDOVERED YOUR FILE TO YOU. IT WAS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY" he says I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.

" You are accusing me ? " I asked and he calmed himself down.

" Sir I still have that file. I kept it safely in my house " I said and called James and asked him to go inside and bring that file

" Sir there's no file here " James replied

" James are you fucking blind. Search!! " I say and raghu ram sir was glaring at me.

" Sir I swear the file is not here " james said

I saw my phone and there were 15missed calls from Rahul. I decided to ignore but he called me again and I finally picked up the call.

" WHAT DO U WANT RAHUL" I ask

" Arjun..Meera is missing " he stammers and and I felt like someone stabbed my heart. She betrayed me. She's not innocent.

" I'm sorry arjun. I dint mean to accuse you" raghu ram sir said with sad voice

" It's okay sir I'm gonna ruin both of their lives now "

" No arjun you can't kill him we need government's permission for that. "

One notification popped up on my screen.

A video from a unknown number. A video in which meera ran towards.. I stopped there. He was his brother Karan.

He is in mafia too but he's little weak. We can catch him within seconds.
My eyes were fuming in anger. I clenched my fists and continued playing the video.

She ran towards him and hugged from backwards and said " I missed you " and there the video ended.

So he was her fiance. Not Rajeev.

I furiously took a vase and started breaking everything I see. No body dared to stop me.

" HACK ALL THE CC CAMERAS AND FIND THEM IMMEDIATELY " I roared and everyone started doing their works.

" Sir, I'm not going to kill him but I'll show him death. Please don't stop me to arrest him and as you say we'll handover him to government" I said to raghu ram sir calmly but from inside only I know how angry I am right now.

" Okay arjun. Do whatever you want to but I want him alive. "

Sam ran towards me and showed me the cc tv footage of a van going towards the outskirts of the city.

" Sir I'm going to capture him right now"  I said to raghu ram sir to which he nodded.

We were in the outskirts of the city and we were in the jungle now.

"Send drones" I said and after a while one of the guy came running towards me " sir someone shot our drone in this location " he said and I smirked.

Who will save you now?

* Meera's pov *

I wokeup with a headache and I looked around to see I was tied to bed. A cold shiver passed in my body I looked myself and thanked god that I am fully covered.

I tried to free myself but I couldn't.
Suddenly door opened and he was the same guy who i saw in the hospital.

" Hey sexy " he smirked at me.

" You bastard who the fuck are you" I sceamed at him but his eyes were filled with lust

" This is bad. Don't you know me? It's me you're fiance " as soon as those words left from his mouth, I knew I was doomed.

I shouldn't have come out.

" Do you know my name " he asked walking towards me

" no " I replied and struggled.

My name is Karan. KARAN PATHAN.

My head started spinning. I couldn't believe my own stepmother wanted me to get married to this bastard.

I shook my head saying no.

My father was murdered. I felt tears forming in my eyes and soon I started crying.

I never cried infront of anyone because I look like a weak woman and people take benefit of that.

" aww baby don't cry " he sat beside me and caressed my cheek. I struggled not wanting his filthy hand on my body.

" You're father also snatched away all the properties from us and we came to know that it was named on you and those orphanages he's running are ours. We just decided to kill you and take it away but when I saw your picture. I wanted you so badly " he says

how the fuck does he know him? I asked myself

" Also you innocent kid, he's not just a business man. He's also a under cover cop and guess what I did " he smirked evilly

" I made you look like a betrayer babe" his hands moving down my chest.

" what the fuck did you do " I screamed.

He removed my clutches and I know there's no way to escape from here.

" I want to take you right now " he said and inhaled my scent

I jerked backwards and decided to push him but he dint buldge

He started sucking my neck and I struggled in his hold.

I slapped him so hard when I got a chance and he looked furious and taken back.

" get ready for your punishment babe" his said in his cold tone.

He started removing his shirt and I got up from the bed and ran towards the door but he grabbed my hair and pulled me back. I started crying out but he dint care.

He ripped my dress and suddenly I heard gunshots around us.

" Looks like you're boyfriend found me" he says grabbing his gun.

" Arjunnnnnn " I tried to scream but he slapped me and black dots appeared in my vision as I fainted.
