Arjun's pov -

Meera was walking away from me. She's going really far.

Meera please please don't leave me.

Meeraa

I yelled and I sat up straight.
I feel someone hugging me.

" It's just a dream. Its just a dream " Rahul was patting my back.

I look around and I was in hospital. Last I remember was meera saying those painful words and I was too shocked to hear them. So nikhil isn't Meera's boyfriend she dint move on! But on that karwa chauth, I'm sure I saw him on her phone.

I got up, I should talk to meera and clear my misunderstanding towards her. I hate myself. I'm a idiot!! I punched the wall.

" Mister, just lay down " James pushed my shoulder and I landed on the bed.

" what happened to me " I asked him

" Due to stress you fainted " Rahul replied.

" Please let me meet meera. I need to talk to her. I need to go " I got up and Rahul harshly pushed me down to the bed.

" Can't you understand she doesn't want you. She's living happily without you. If she wanted you, she would have come back. But no, she dint. Let her go arjun. Enough is enough " he yelled.

" No Rahul. There's something which we all don't know. She still loves me. I know that. I know she dint move on. I have to talk about why she left me. I was the one who ignored her for one whole month. I asked her to get lost "

His face expressions changed.

" Let's goo I'm driving " James grabbed the keys and I got up taking my phone. I glanced at Rahul who's just standing by staring at the window. James cleared the hospital formalities and exited from the back door. James started driving and I was sitting in the passenger seat.

" Why the fuck did you say to Rahul about meera " I asked James.

" Ahmm " someone cleared throat from backside 

" What the - "

" When did you come " both me and James shouted at a time. He rolled his eyes. For a second James eyes left the road and we almost got hit by the truck.
We reached Meera's apartment. I started bouncing my leg. Should I go? How should I show my face after everything I've done.

" Come out you idiot " James pulled my arm. I look up and one 5 feet guy with a bald head came running towards us.

" You.. he came close to me. I've seen you somewhere. But where " he started thinking.

" Whatever did you come here to see flats? You look so rich " he smirked.

I rolled my eyes and started going inside. He followed me.

" Can't you just go away " annoyed Rahul asked him. He scratched his bald head and said he's the owner. I stood infront of her flat. Rahul seem disgusted with the surroundings.

" This flat is occupied, This flat is empty he showed us the flat right infront of Meera's flat . James put his hands on his  shoulder.

" Why don't you show me the flat " he asked him and finally that bald head left us alone.

Meera pov -

I took a hot shower and my phone rang and I saw nikhil was calling me.

" Dadu asked Maya's parents to decide the wedding date anddd it's next week "  he screamed.

" Oh my god wow " I was really happy for them.

" Where is maya " I asked him.

" Beside me wait I'll give it to her " he passed his phone to maya and she started screaming in enjoyment. We talked for a while and she explained how her parents agreed for the marriage.

" Where's dada and dadi " I asked maya.

" They are already in Kolkata " she said.

" And they dint even tell me " I was really sad now.

" Mayaaa they wanted to surprise her and youu " I heard nikhil's voice from beside. We chatted for few minutes and finally I drifted into sleep ignoring everything happened today.

I wokeup late and I decided to resign the job. Enough is enough. I'm way too angry on him. Yesterday he really made me feel like a slut. I loved him. I love him. And maybe I could never forget him. I pulled my hair in fraustation.

I started crying after remembering
yesterday's incident. He truly hates me. After the crying session I finally showered and decided to go for a walk in the park beside the apartment.

Normally I do all the work but today I decided I had no energy in my body left. So I asked a maid in the apartment to clean the apartment. I left her and I reached the park and played with few kids around for a while and I guess the work should be done by now.

I open my door to see two tall familiar faces sitting on the couch and watching TV. I stood there not understanding what's happening here. Arjun saw me and gave me a weak smile when I tried to stay as emotionless as possible.

Rahul stood up and he dint look happy seeing me. Ofcourse why would he.

Come here arjun catched my wrist and took me inside the bedroom. I wriggled in his grip " Leave me " I yelled.

" I just want to talk " he said closing the door behind.

" Nothing is left to talk. I emailed you my resignation letter. Approve it and leave me alone "

" Are you resigning " he was shocked. I rolled my eyes and my eyes fell on the frame. It's our wedding picture! His eyes was moving towards that. I ran towards it and stood infront of the table.

" You hiding something? " he came towards me and my hands clutched the frame from behind.

" Arjun please step back, your invading my private space " I tried to be as serious I could. Arjun took a step forward and caged me with his two arms on the table. I was turning into a tomato. He smirked and started leaning forward.

I closed my eyes and he snatched away the frame from my hands. I was shocked and he was about to see and I tried to snatch it away from him.

" ARJUN "

" MEERA " He smirked. I gritted my teeth and tried to reach his height but my leg slipped and now we both were flying in the air. I clutched his shirt tightly and closed my eyes. I opened one of my eye to see that we dint fall on the floor but on the bed. I could feel his heart racing inside his heart. I slowly lifted my head and stared into his eyes but he was busy staring at something else.

One of his hand was on the waist and other one. Oh my godd! I turned back to see the frame is in his hands. I rolled beside and snatched the frame from his hands. I stared at him and he's just lost some where.

After few minutes he stood up

" I..uh.." he stammered

" Just get out " I screamed

" Meera listen to me please I beg you " he pleaded me and I kept silent giving him the permission to continue.

" I'm sorry I'm sorry for everything, just explain me about the past. I'm confused. If you want me, why did you leave "

" I don't want you " I whispered

" Seriously meera " he came towards me and held my small palms in his large one's. I closed my eyes trying to remember everything he did to me.

I tried pushed him back with all the energy I had but yet he dint move a inch.

" Please don't come close to me " I let the tears fall and he immediately left me and took few steps backwards.

" Hear me out Mr.Malhotra. I don't want you. I don't want anyone in my life. I'm better alone. I was doing good until you  came back again. I was feeling guilty for a monster like you. You never listened to me arjun, from the start you never gave me a chance to speak. You always misunderstood me and now this time I'm not gonna tell you anything. I'll remain shut and I want you divorce me. " I breath out finally.

I look up to see his jaw clenched and he took long strides towards me and gripped my shoulders tightly. I winced in pain.

" I. AM. NEVER. GIVING . YOU. A .DIVORCE " he gritted his teeth and pressed every single word.

He slammed the door behind and left.

I'm not weak. I'm stronger than this. I told myself and wiped the tears and went out. I saw Rahul who's sitting on the couch with his hands on his head.

" Rahul..I.." why do I always become nervous.

" I'm sorry Miss. I just came here to accompany my friend. I dont know who you are and I dont even like to know " he said and left me alone like everyone does. No body lets me speak. I cried for a while and then realized that crying doesn't make anything better.

I slept for a while then I got a call from dada to visit him. I reached the mansion and Maya ran towards me and pulled me inside. I greeted Maya's parents and they were discussing about marriage.

" I missed you beta " I rolled my eyes on Dada's comment.

" Why are you so grumpy today " he chuckled. First of all its all his fault.

" How's arjun " I gave him a glare and again he chuckled.

" who's arjun " dadi joined.

" Arjun.. " he smirked.

" He's the new ceo of Dada's company " I said and dada nodded. So dates had been decided and both of them are getting married next week! We talked for a while and had dinner together and I finally reached my apartment. There were so many boxes infront of my flat. Ignoring that I went inside and the second I entered there's a knock on my front door.

I opened the door to see arjun smiling. He's smiling? He's smiling way too much.

" What " I asked folding my hands.

" Is this the way to welcome your new neighbor " he smirked. Wait. What did I hear.

"What the fuck dont tell me that it's you" my eyes widened.

"Ofcourse It's me princess "

" Dont call me that " I yelled.

"Okay princess. Help me with the boxes" he gently catched my wrist and pulled me into his flat.

" Hey let me go " I wriggled in his grip.

" Why do you have to do this arjun please just end this. You have all the luxuries. Go back to Mumbai " I said and he looked disappointed and hurt. After few minutes he changed his expressions and smiled.

" I wanna stay here. Its my wish. Are you scared that you will fall for me? I'm sure you can't resist me " he said and I sarcastically laughed out.

" I dont care if you stay here " that was a terrible lie.

" So just be a good neighbor and help me out " he smiled and I confusingly stared at him. What is he planning?
