I dint have to burst out on her like this but I did. I dont know why. I'm turning into a monster day by day. I dont know when I slept leaning against the wall behind me.

I wokeup when and looked around. Meera was no where to be seen and I was going insane. I saw the balcony door slight open and I could see Meera's dress. She was standing infront of the door. I opened the door slightly and I heard nikhil's voice

Hey meera tell me I look handsome na

Anger rushed through my veins. So it was true. She was fasting for him and I meant nothing to her. How foolish I could be.

A thunder striked and her phone fell down from her hands.

Meera-

I looked up to meet his red eyes staring into my soul. His eyes expressed so much hatred. So much disgust. So much anger.

I've seen his anger. Trust me I've seen the worst - worst sides of his anger. This. This right now is compared nothing to what I've seen before.

" when..did..you" before I complete my sentence he was taking long strides towards me and I was extremely scared. I took few steps back and my back hitted the wall.

He laughed dangerously and I had Goosebumps all over my body.

" What..happened " I finally speaked.

" What? What happened? "

" You're in love with that nikhil huh? " my eyes widened when he said that. Now I'm sure he heard only the last part. I sighed in relief that I did nothing wrong.

" You're just misunderstanding arjun " I said and stepped forward.

" Misunderstanding? " he gripped my wrist and pinned me to the wall.

I closed my eyes in fear and I was fully drenched in water because of heavy rainfall.

" I hate you meera. I hate you so much " there was so much pain in his voice. I dont know why I couldn't speak up. Why does he always misunderstand me? There was a sharp pain in my wrist. I snapped my head towards left and saw blood. The bangle broke and blood and my skin is burning.

" Arjun..you're hurting me " my voice cracked and I begged him. I tuned my head towards him and he dint care at all. He tightened his grip.

" Please " I broke down and cried hard.

" Shutup " he screamed and a loud thunder striked and everything blacked out.

Arjun

I closed my eyes to control myself. A loud thunder striked and I came back to this world. Her head fell on shoulder.

My heart started beating faster and I stopped breathing. I loosened her both of her hands and saw blood flowing out.

Fuck!!! What did I do? I left her wrist and broken bangles fell down.

" Meera " I lifted her and took her inside. Both of us are drenched in water and I placed her on the table. I took my hand kerchief out and wrapped it around her wrist.

I called ambulance and picked her again ran downstairs. And saw the lights working. So elevator is working too!

I snuggled her into my body and caressed her hair.

" I wont let anything happen to you. I'm so sorry princess " I closed my eyes and let tears fall. I came out of the elevator and ambulance arrived.

We reached hospital and she was taken directly to the ICU. I stood there not understanding what to do. My brain has stopped working and I couldn't understand what just happened. I feel the world shattering.

After few minutes the doctor came out removing his gloves and he looked at me.

" Oh my god are you for real? Arjun Malhotra is in my hospital? " he screamed. My blood boiled and I catched his collar.

" Tell me she's fine orelse I will kill you right now " I pushed him to the wall.

He gulped in fear and the nurses parted us. He coughed and finally he spoke up.

" She's fine but she's unconscious for now " he said I sighed in relief.

It's 4 in the morning and meera finally moved. I ran towards her and catched her hands. She slowly opened her eyes and sat up straight. I was shocked to see her. She wasn't angry. She was scared.

" What..what..happened " she asked.

I closed my eyes and flashbacks hitted me on how brutally I hurt her.

" Nothing. Sit here and don't move " I said her and left her alone. I asked nurse to serve some food.

I went inside and gave her a glass of water and she looked at me in complete shock. She was just sitting and staring.

I took the glass close to her lips and she came out of her thoughts and silently gulped down the water. I placed the glass beside and finally the nurse bought the tray. I took it from her and bought the spoon near meera.

" Open your mouth " she was still staring me.

" I dont like to repeat things " I said and she finally opened her mouth. I feeded her and both of us remained silent.

" Sleep " I said placing her head against the pillow.

I turned back to leave but she held my wrist. I was shocked because after everything I've done she's still not angry on me. Why?

I looked back and she gave me a soft smile. Is she insane? I gave her a confused look 

" Don't go. Please stay " she pleased.

" Are you okay. Should I call the doctor "
I placed my other hand on her head and checked her temperature.

" I'm absolutely fine " her voice was weak and slow. She left my hand and disappointment was written all over her face. She closed her eyes pulling bedsheet to her. I sat beside her and slowly took her small hands into mine.

A small curve formed on her lips and she opened her eyes and smiled.

" Thankyou " she whispered and closed her eyes and I glared at her.

I leaned my head against the wall and slept. I wokeup and saw my hands still connected to hers. I slowly removed it.
What am I even doing? She likes nikhil but why this?

Its 10am and finally doctor visited and meera can discharge by evening.

" Sir " a nurse called me out.

She was giving me flirty looks and I hated that.

" Can I have a selfie pleasee " I looked at her in disbelief. I gave her a death glare and she backed off.

" Is that why you called me out " I screamed at her.

" No..no..sir I came to ask you to fill the formalities but we need your employees guardian for that " she said.

" She's MY WIFE " I pressed the wife word and her eyes widened.

" You.. you're married " she asked.

" yes "

" Oh my god " she quickly shut her mouth with her hands. I completed all the formalities. Suddenly a guy out of no where stood right infront me and started clicking picture. Before I do something a hand grabbed his phone.

I looked back to see James smirking. Oh man!! How much I missed this guy. Other bodyguards were complete useless.

" How dare you give my phone back " he yelled.

" take it " he tossed the phone.

" You deleted the pictures " he yelled

" Take them again and I'll delete you from this world " he gulped in fear and ran away.

" What took you so long " I asked him pretending to be angry.

" Excuse me? I came so be grateful " he said. Sometimes I wonder who's the boss. In these two years. I spended my time alone and James never left my side. That's how we became closer. James blamed himself for Meera's escape but eventually he did everything to get her back. I denied helping him. If I thought of finding her. She would be infront of me but I dint wanted to.

I asked the nurse to feed her in the afternoon and I dint go inside. I dint have courage to face her.

Its evening and I went inside to meet her. She was sitting and staring at her hands. She must be terrified.

I went near her and she snapped her head and jerked backwards.

" Oh my god you scared me " she kept hand on heart and released her breath.

" Why do you look like a theif " she asked me and oh now I get it. I was tired of people and covered myself.

" I'll drop you home " I said and she simply nodded. She followed and James opened the door for her. She looked up and she was shocked to see him. He smiled at her and her face went pale.

" Get in " she sat in the backseat. I sat beside her and James drove to her home.

" How are you " James asked her.

" I..uh. uhm I'm fine " she stammered. He nodded in response and continued driving. We reached her house and she got down

" Thankyou " she said started walking towards the lift. I followed her.

" You can take leave for a week " she remained silent.

Meera -

Honestly I need some rest. I should make myself strong to face him again.

I nodded and left to my room. I showered and drifted into sleep. Its been 3days and I'm bored already. I'm going insane. My hand is completely healed and today I decided to go to office.

I entered the office and Maya hugged me. I lied saying her that I had a fever.

" I'm getting married to nikhil " she screamed.

" Oh my god oh my god " I hugged her back tightly. Nikhil came out of no where. I hugged him and he hugged me back.

" Do dada and dadi know " I asked him and he nodded happily. I turned back to see arjun staring at us. Not again!!

This time his eyes dint show anger it only showed pain. He walked to his cabin ignoring us.

" Is he always this rude " nikhil asked.

" Oh don't ask me he's a arrogant bastard " Maya replied.

I entered his cabin and he knew I was inside but he continued doing his work.

" Sir " I said and he looked up.

" I asked you to rest. What are you doing here " he asked me.

I'm perfectly fine now. And about that day you..uh...misunderstood. I finally spoke up.

" Get out " he roared dangerously. I entered my cabin and completed my work. I'm tired of everything. I regret every second of my life.

Its been 10days and arjun comes to office and leaves within 1hour. He's completely ignoring me. I was busy in my work and its evening.

I'm nervously sitting in the conference room and tapping my legs on the floor.
The conference room was now filled with people and I'm sweating badly. Can I do this? I asked myself.

I can!

I stood up trying to stay as confident as possible. I gave the presentation and patiently waited for everyone's reaction. Everyone started clapping and I sighed in relief.

" We are ready to invest in your company " one of the client stood up and forwarded for a handshake. I was shocked because there's no way that this is happening.

I looked at our employees who's jaws were hung open in shock.

" What " I asked him to repeat again because I feel like I'm dreaming.

" Miss. Sharma right? " I nodded

" So we're having a party tonight. All the employees are invited and no body should miss it " he gave a genuine smile.

Everyone congratulated me and left. Maya came running towards me hugged me.

" You're..choking..me " she gave me a proud smile.

" I'm so happy. You did it girl " she screamed.

After 1 year! 1 whole year this company is getting what it deserved.

I got a call from dada and I smiled and picked it up.

" Please tell me what I heard was true " he said.

" Yes " I had tears running down my cheek.

" Oh my god I'm so happy kid. Thankyou thankyou I'm proud and I dont regret my decisions giving my company into your husband's hands "

" Dada " I screamed.

" I've never asked you and I won't. All I want you is to get back together " he said.

" Do you know that finally your grandson is getting married " I quickly changed the topic.

" oh my god yes that's another shock for me. I'm in Switzerland right now and I will be back to India after 10 days to talk about nikhil's marriage " he said and I smiled.

We chatted for few minutes and me and Maya both went to her apartment to get ready for the party. I'm beyond happy today.

" Is Arjun coming " she asked me and I dint knew what to say. We never talked in past few days. And I'm grateful for that. I missed his presence but I should hold myself. I can't fall for him.

I did my light makeup just to cover my pale face. I left my hair loose

" You're wearing this " Maya threw a dress on my face and I tried it out.

" Maya " I screamed. She entered the room and froze in her place.

" Oh my god meera you look sexy as hell. If I was a boy I would have married you right now " she said.

" Sexy my foot! This dress is so tight and look this doesn't even reach my knees " I was angry at this point.

" You're wearing this and this is final " she said.

Maya is driving the car and I felt so uncomfortable. I kept moving and struggling.

" I cant even breathe in this " I cried out and she chuckled.

We reached the venue and I met different persons. Me and Maya were sitting on the bar stool.

" I'm sorry to interrupt but hey " I turned my head back to see our client.

" Oh hi Mr. Agarwal. Thankyou thankyou for everything "

" Please call me Aditya " he said and I smiled. There's a TV attached on the wall. A car landed infront of our venue. Many media people. I could hear their screams from outside.

Arjun got down the car as if he owns the world. Body guards made a way for him and the doors swug open. My eyes shifted from the TV to the door.

A loud noise of media trying to enter inside but the bodyguards stopped and the door closed. James was beside him.
He looks so hot in his suit, just like a Greek God. His steps so powerful and a shiver ran through my spine.

The crowd gathered around him and I cant see him anymore.

I looked beside to see Mr.Agarwals jaw dropped.

" Is..he..Arjun..Malhotra " he stammered.

" Yes the arrogant jerk " Maya replied.
