Marcello's POV

Arriving at the most favorite place in the world, I think for a kid, we get greeted by a sweet old lady at the front desk. She smiled softly, showing her pearly whites and small repelling wrinkles on her face.

She looked in her late sixties, and the aura surrounding her was joyful. She was wonderful welcoming Issac as he was too shy, hiding behind me. It was more like hiding behind my leg.

"Hey, aren't you just the cutest little boy ever?" She gushes, slightly leaning over to Issac's view. I look down to Issac to see him giggling with one hand over his mouth and the other holding onto my hand in a firm grip.

"What's your name?"

"Issac," He shyly smiles, uttering his name in a soft voice, showing his face out to her. The lady laughs it off, probably knowing too well how kids are.

"Well, then Issac are you hungry?" Issac sheepishly grins, showing one of his dimples that god blessed him to have, and nods. "Okay, lets go." She redirects her view on Issac to me, silently telling me to follow her where our supposed table was.

As we walk she continues to tell Issac what a sweet young boy he is, throwing jokes here and there to make him smile.

The action alone made me grateful. Grateful, that she was kind enough to make Issac feel welcome in an unknown setting that was new to him and that was all that I could ask for. We sit in a red long shaped booth as we were in one of the diners my long childhood best friend, Hunter, recommended to me a few weeks back. I slide in placing Issac's little bag beside me.

Normally, I wouldn't have considered coming here ever as this was not my ideal eat out place but I wasn't alone. I had Issac with me. I was one hundred positive Issac would love it here.

Handing our menus to us, that I didn't even know she had, she gives me and Issac a polite smile.

"There you go, our waitress will be back in a minute." She said as she takes her leave, heading back to her original place at the front desk.

At the booth, Issac sat across from me looking at the paper menu the lady just gave him. He goos in excitement as he grazes the colorful crayons in his hands and the well printed designs and pictures. It was one of the kids menus, where you could color and play games like tik-tac-toe.

"What you getting buddy?"  Issac looks up from his coloring menu, shrugging his shoulders.

"I don't know. Mommy says I need to eat veggies but I don't like them. I give them to Rufus."

"Mommy said he's Miss Abby's. He plays with me when I'm sad. He's funny and nice and he eats the veggies I give him."

"So, Rufus your friend?" I asked, opening my menu, curiosity coursing through my veins. I don't know why but my need to know everything about this boy was weird. Freakishly so.

"He's a doggie. I want one but mommy said no," He picks up a small spoon twirling and playing with it with his tiny hands.

"Well, doggies are hard to take of, Bud. Maybe next year mommy can give you one for Christmas." That easily cheers him up, his eyes glowing from happiness. Issac looks down at the paper menu and begins to color.

"I want nuggets, or chicken." Issac hums as colors the paper menu, not caring that his lines and the colors where no where near the picture at all. Drawing circles and scribbled lines as he goes, not giving a care about anything.

"Okay, I will get the same thing too." Issac looks up smiling.

"You like them too?!" No, not at all.

"Yes." I lie through my tongue. The only reason I why lied was because I was getting them for a purpose to give it to him later on. I wasn't going to eat because I wanted him to eat. I can eat at home but Issac can't. At least not when bitchy Becky is around which reminds me I need to have a serious talk with Issac's mother. Who the hell leaves their kid to an evil women like her?!

If I had a kid, I would make sure the babysitter had at least three different background checks before even letting them go near my kid.

"Do you want to color with me?" Issac says breaking me from my thoughts. Hesitation in his baby blue eyes as he looks down in his lap. It was almost like he was expecting me to say no. Afraid of me being cruel like Becky.

I roll my eyes in irritation just thinking about her. I will deal with that later. This, right here and now was more important than Becky and her bitchy personality. Issac is the most important now, from here and out.

"Sure. Let's color." I smile, picking up a crayon making Issac laugh in glee.

~
We were in the middle of eating, when a women approached us. She stood confidently, a hand on her hip as she licked her lips seductively making me cringe in response.

"Hey baby," She whispers in my ear, showing her cleavage as she bends over. I knew all too well what this was.

I barely acknowledge her, sending a quick nod before directing my attention back to Issac who was vastly eating on a chicken bone. Is that safe for him to eat? I softly tell him to slow down while chewing, and give him the ketchup that he loves to eat with his chicken. I was busy focusing on Issac I didn't notice that she was still here.

"Excuse me," Her scratchy voice said, my ears bleeding from hearing it. I'm pretty sure she could get a hint.

"Yes," I said boredly, giving her a sign I wasn't interested.

She grins in response, excited that I spoke to her. Ignoring the sign I gave, she takes a seat next to me.

Just fucking great.

Issac looks at me in confusion probably wondering why this crazy woman was sitting next to me. I was annoyed and tired of this.

Constant girls with no class throwing themselves at me, lacking qualities I look for in a women. You would make you think this would make me happy but it's quite the opposite.

Trust me, I'm flattered but sometimes you wish you could catch a break. I don't believe in fairytales and bullshit like that, but if you knew me you would know I hate fake people.

And this women is exactly that.

She holds onto my bicep, feeling it without my permission. I give a deadly glare telling her to back the fuck off. She doesn't instead whispers again in my ear. "Why are you so angry?" She laughs trying to be seductive, failing miserably. "How about I take that away? Why don't we go somewhere else? Perhaps my place?"

Okay, I could say I am tempted to go back to her place but that would be a big fat lie. I gave her the hint but being the bright one that she is, she couldn't get it.

"Can't. I'm here to eat." I state, plain and simple. You would think she would get the message.

Nope.

"I want to go to restroom." Issac thankfully saves me from the lunatic.

I go to get up but the women stops me by pushing me down back into my seat.

What the hell?

"Look, little boy. The grown ups are talking so why don't you take a seat and hold it. God, it's not so hard to hold it in. If you can't go by yourself."

She turns to me with one of those Hollywood smiles, acting like she didn't just yell at Issac right in my fucking face.

She props her tight dress down, exposing her boobs more than they already were. But that didn't concern me, she fucking yelled at Issac.

Blinded by rage and wanting to kill her I didn't notice she had a hand on my chest slowly wanting to touch that part of my body but before she could do everything else I stop her by grabbing her wrist. Harshly.

I was furious. She fucking yelled at Issac and I wasn't going to let that go. I didn't want Issac to see me like this, my emotions were all over the place.

"Bud, close your eyes and cover your ears. " I look at Issac who obeys covering his ears with eyes closed.

When I knew Issac wasn't listening and with his eyes shut tight all logic blew out of the window.

"What. The. Hell. Did. You. Just. Say?" Each word uttered with pure hatred and disgust.

She chokes up, "I-I didn't. I-I wasn't-"

"Don't you dare say that shit in my face. Don't say it at all. Who the hell are you to yell at him like that?! You are not his mother and as far am I'm concerned you shouldn't talk to a child like that at all. I gave you every hint I wasn't interested, I let that slide. But what I'm not letting go of is you yelling at him. So, shut the fuck up and apologize and leave. Desperate and being a bitch is not a good look. Hell keep it up and you will end being alone for the rest of your life." I let her hand go harshly not wanting to look at her any longer. She was crying now but I didn't give two shits about her. She yelled at Issac, a kid and that's not okay.

She quickly wipes her tears. "I'm sorry."

"Don't tell me. Tell him." I touch Issac, telling him to open his eyes and let go of hands.

Issac looks at me having no clue what was going on which was good. He didn't hear anything.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean what I said back there. You are great and cute." She rushes in a soft voice.

Issac nods and sadly smile, "It's okay. I get mad too." The woman nods and leaves like I told her too. She should've done that the first time I asked.

"Are you done buddy?"' Issac shakes his head yes making me ask for the check and for a couple of boxes to take the food home for Issac.

"Let's go home."
~
Stepping off the elevator, Issac holds my hand tighter not wanting to go any further. I stop and crouch trying to understand what's wrong.

"Becky's there. I don't want to go." He cries, tears swelling in his eyes making my heart crush in despair.

"Buddy, do you trust me?" Issac immediately nods.

"Okay, well Becky will not be a problem anymore okay? What happened with the lady at the diner?"

"She left." He responds correctly.

"See... I'll make Becky leave too okay?" Issac unsurely nods and walks me to the correct apartment door.

After the restaurant, I was going to take Issac to the police station but when he asked where we were going I couldn't take him. So, I took the chance and asked if he knew where his home was. Surprisingly, he knew where he was going. He was smart alright. He was impressive and awesome. He probably got it from his mother.

And another thing I was going to do was, I was going to confront Becky. Issac told me not to tell his mother about her and I respected that but it didn't mean I was going to let the emotional abuse continue. What I did back at the diner was exactly how I was going to deal with Becky.

We step in front of the big wooden door but before we go in I tell Issac something first, "When we go in I want you to go in your room and wait until I call for you. Becky will leave forever okay?" Issac smiles before pulling me into a tight hug. I turn the hug back laughing to myself.

"Here," We pull away as I hand him his bag and food.

"Okay, lets go." Pushing the door open, it was unlocked which was bad. If you were a babysitter and taking care of kids shouldn't you lock the door? My experiences with kids were slim but I knew that wasn't what you were supposed to do.

Issac runs into his room like I asked. I smile at that. He's a good boy that's for sure. His mother did a great job at that. I still couldn't get pass the fact that she left him with Becky though.

A blonde haired girl steps into view. I guessing she was Becky because Issac's mother wasn't home. Could be her but I doubt it. By the way she's on her phone talking smack about her job she was the Becky Issac was talking about.

"Hey!" I say with no smile or friendly greeting people give. She hangs up the phone and turns to see me in my work clothes. She gawks at me, lust in her eyes as she shamelessly checks me out. The audacity! She pays attention to how I look but doesn't notice when a child's missing.

"You're Becky." I state as a statement, not a question.

"Yes." She chirps, twirling a stand of her honey blonde hair from her high ponytail.

I mentally laugh at her, she really doesn't have a clue does she?

"You're fired." I state no emotion other than rage.

"What?"

"Like I said you're fired. You are fired and I don't care if you need the money but you are not working here. You're done."

"What the hell? Who the hell are you to tell me what to do? You are not my boss, hell you aren't a position to fire me!" She yells in disbelief.

I smirk, she has no idea on the true damage I could do to her.

"Do you know who I am? Look closely," Her eyes pop out of circuit recognizing me.

"Y-you are... you're-"

"Yes, I am and you know what I could do. I can make sure no one in this city hires you and your reputation will be ruined. I will make your life a living hell if you don't listen to me. Get out and don't come back. You will always be away from Issac. Understood?"

She gulps in fear and nods, "Good."

"Leave." She dashes out of the apartment taking her purse on the couch and phone leaving once and for all.

Good riddance.

I call Issac telling him it's okay to come out. He runs into my arms hugging me. I pick his little body up placing him on my waist. "She's gone?" He questions.

"Yes, she's gone. I promised remember." Issac shoots a lazy grin before wrapping his arms around me once more.

I laugh happy that he's happy and okay.

I hear the door slam close again. Did Becky come back? If she did I'm going to make her reject it.

"I'm home!" A feminine voice yells. I turn around to come face to face with a woman.

It wasn't Becky.
