Its been about 6 months since the situation with you and matt. You blocked matt on everything, but still kept contact with nick. Nick was your best friend and he was always there.

anyway, your at target grabbing things for your little sister. It's her birthday so you wanted to get decorations for her. While walking in between aisles you see someone. It was.. "matt?" you say. "oh! hey um y/n" he says. "hi.." you reply awkwardly. "what are you doing here?" he asks. "its a store? everyone comes here" you say. "right sorry" he apologizes. "okay well um I have a birthday party to go set up so.." you say. "oh! your sisters birthday." he says. you couldn't believe he remembered.

"tell her i said happy birthday " he small smiles. "she um..doesnt want to hear about you anymore" you say. "she knows what happened and im pretty sure she hates your guts. just being brutally honest" you smile sarcasticly. "um okay." he says. "hey babe, are you ready?" a voice says walking up to matt. Its matts ex. Matt and his ex are dating. "oh! arent you matts ex girlfriend?" she asks with a look. "arent you?" you say. "funny, but no. Im matts girlfriend" she says kissing his cheek.

"oh..well congrats!" you say with a small smile. "thanks! come on babe" she smiles. They both walk away. "bitch" you mumble.
