*Time Skip a few weeks*

So I'm here preparing for the party? Can you call it that? Whatever, I don't give a fuck. I am preparing the ceremony where Normani will officially join the pack. Her parents are coming so I wanna make it seem all nice and elegant and like I wasn't trying to get in Normani's pants a few weeks ago.

''BAE!!'' I heard yelling, before I could turn around I felt a weight on my back and smelled honey and vanilla.

Normani was a koala hugging my back and had her head in the crook of my neck inhaling deeply. We've been away from each other all day because she for some reason wanted to get a new outfit for the part-ceremo- YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN DAMN.

I heard a muffled voice ''I missed you so much''

''You've literally been gone for 5 hours calm down, plus you're the one who wanted to get more clothes,'' I said without turning around and continued to set up. Normani starts whining, wanting my touch. And I'm too whipped for that shit. I whimpered and nuzzled against her head, she immediately stops whining and grins.

alright, I'm not weak but...can you blame me? Mates hate when their significant other is upset and try everything to make them happy, and I am no different.

''Damn if you're like this for a few hours, imagine when I leave for business and pack trips.'' Since I'm Alpha, I'm top dog, which means paperwork and meetings and all that jazz. I'm still in the process of making the pack legal. It's kind of hard considering humans aren't aware of supernaturals, so going to states with excuses for going to a 'nonexistent' race meeting is a one way trip to humans cuckooville. Anyways while I was talking to you readers Normani started to get angry.

Her eyes were glowing yellow, she manages to move from my back to my front and turns us around, and pins me to a wall.

''Y/n you better take me with you wherever you go because I'm not staying away from you for that long'' She growls.

So like, mates are very protective and possessive. Usually the most dominant in the couple is the most possessive but it seems that Normani doesn't give two fucks. I am still surprised that she called me Y/n since she always calls me babe or bae, so I guess she's serious.

After hearing that Normani immediately relaxes, her eyes stop glowing and she puts her head back in the crook of my neck inhaling again.

''Babe come on I'm still setting up, why don't you go up-'' Normani growls at the thought of leaving me.

Rolling my eyes I start setting up again with Normani latched on to my front.

*Time skip an hour*

I finished, the living rooms all decked out and shit. I reach to pat myself on the back but realized Normani is still on me. I looked down to see Normani in the same position she was in an hour ago.

''Bae?'' I asked only to be rewarded with soft snores. Damn...this girl don fell asleep on me. Well, shit, good thing the ceremony starts at night cuz....werewolves....night...you get it? You?-you get it.

I took Normani upstairs to my bedroom but it's basically ours since she never leaves or sleeps in her bedroom. I laid her on our bed and went to leave. When I was walking away Normani started to whine. I stopped walking and the whining stopped. So I started to walk towards the door again and the whining started again. I stopped walking and the whining stopped again. This continued until I gave up and laid on the bed in my clothes cuz I'm lazy. As soon as hit the bed arms and legs wrapped around me, I turned to see Normani still knocked out with a small smile on her face.

HOW SHE ALL UP ON US AND KNOCKED TF OUT

FOOL STOP FUCKING YELLING YOU'RE MAKING MY HEAD HURT

Oops sorry Nora laughs again

I set an alarm on my phone so we'll wake up before the party. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was gone.
