Chris pov

"Hey guys." I smiled as I threw myself onto the couch. I look around for a sec and notice Ellies gone. "Where's el?" I asked the group who were chatting quietly. "I think she went to the store down the road." Calmly said scar. "By herself?" I asked. "Yeah, she left before I could protest." She said shrugging her shoulders. "How long has she been gone?" I asked a tiny bit panicked. "10 minutes." Rdj replied after looking at his watch. I sat the for a few seconds before standing up and grabbing my coat.

"I'm going to go look for her." I said throwing it on. "Yeah, I'll come with you." Anthony said, with a concerned look on his face. "I'll go too." Seb said too, jogging to grab his coat.

"I'm just a tiny bit concerned." I said to the other 2 men. We were walking the path to the small grocery store down the block. "It's dark, and we're in Boston. So, valid." Anthony replied. "I'm sure she can stick up for herself." Seb sighed, looking down the alleys.

"Hey!" Shouted Anthony as he was shoulder barged by a man wearing a ski mast with a bottle of alcohol in his hand. "Sorry bro." I answered before speeding off.

We looked at eachother, "you guys here that?" Asked seb, looking down the small street that the man ran out of. "You see that?" Seb said, pointing to a black blob squirming on the concrete.

"Come on." I said dragging them closer to it. As we can closer we saw it was a person. "I think it's a hobo!" Shouted Anthony with a scared voice.

"Hey, dickhead!" Said the body making us jump. The body groaned as it rolled over, revealing Ellies beaten up face. "Ellie, oh god, call an ambulance someone!" I shouted kneeling down beside her.

"I'm fine Evans, just a little stab wound." She laughed, "hey, no, not funny." I said giving her a stern look. "Can you pass me my jacket?" She asked, pointing to a thin piece of cloth. I grab it and passed it too her, she ripped it and pressed it onto the wound, which made her cry in pain.

"I got you." I comforted her, pulling her into my side. We were sat up, leaning on a brick wall. She was leant on my side as I put pressure onto her wound with one hand, and stroking

Ellie pov

"They're on their way." Seb said sitting next to Anthony. "I love you guys ya know." I said slowly blinking. "No falling asleep kiddo." Seb said, swatting at  my face. "Just a little nap, I'll be okay." I leant my head onto Chris's shoulder. "Ah-ah-ah. We mean it kid." Chris said sternly. I rolled my eyes, "you guys are no fun."

I heard the sirens bellow from down the street, "prepare yourself guys, it's a going to be a long night." I sighed, looking around at all their faces, they all had a concerned look. "Don't look at me like that." I laughed, looking away.

The ambulance pulled up and 3 paramedics came out. "Hey there kid, just stay nice and still, we're gonna put you on this stretcher." Said a woman. "I'm sure I can stand up, wouldn't that be easier?" I said. "You stay still sweetie, then we'll put out in the ambulance." She replied pulling me up in the air on a hard board. "How are you related to this girl?" The woman asked the 3 men. "We're co-workers." Replied Anthony, pointing too himself and the other two, who we're standing there awkwardly. The lady gave me a concerned look, "we are all actors." I replied as she made a 'makes-sense' face.

"Only one can come with us in the ambulance." Said a man who was buckling me into the bed. "Chris you go, your the one who wanted to come and look for her." Said Anthony, "yeah." Agreed seb. "Okay, tell the others, yeah?" Asked Chris as he hopped into the back of the ambulance. "Will do." Said seb as they walked off.

As the man lifted the bottom of my shirt to have a look at my stab wound he gave a look to the woman. The woman looked over at the wound, and then towards my face, "hey kiddo, if you don't mind telling me how did you get them a scars?" Asked the woman. "I've been stabbed a few times..." I answered, which I received a concerned look from chris, "I lived in a bad area back in Britain, lots of muggings and stabbings." I finish looking down. "Poor girl." She said to the man next to her.

I looked towards Chris, oh god. Why is he looking at me like that? Is it bad? Am I going to get in trouble? Oh shit, I knew he was going to lose his shit on me one day.

"We are here, looks like surgery won't be needed, but we will have to keep her from visitors for around 14 hours." Said the woman- who's name I learned to be vega. "Best to say some goodbyes." She finished leaving me and Chris alone for a second.

"I'm sorry." I blurted out. "No, no, no, I'm the one who should be sorry. You were out on your own. I should've been there." He answered, holding onto my hand and kneeling beside the bed. "No, seriously its my fault. " I replied, sighing. "What do you mean?" He asked confused. " I have a problem, with-" "sorry that's all the time I can give you." Said Vega.

I sighed, then smiled, "I'll tell you later, yeah?" I asked. "Yeah, love you kiddo." He said as I was being dragged out of the ambulance, " be brave." I scoffed," when am I not?" I sarcastically replied. He just laughed and waved me off as a reply.
