Author's POV: 

Zoned out, you kept typing on the laptop, sitting on the bed with the bouquet of roses kept on the nightstand beside your bed. 8:30 pm. Taehyung was running late today, he did text you saying he had an urgent meeting and he would have dinner outside. It would probably take him nearly 10 pm to come back. 

You sighed and continued typing when you saw the word, 'dad'. Your eyes brimmed with tears but you blinked them away, smiling softly. 
"I hope you're taking care of yourself..." You mumbled, smiling softly. You looked outside the window while sitting on the bed. It looked so calm and quiet, just like your room. 
"Wear warm clothes there..." You said and sighed, before closing the laptop. You were tired, you had started working when you came back which was 5 pm. 

Mr and Mrs Kim fed you and ensured you relaxed at home. Right now, they were probably in the living room, watching TV. You could hear their giggles as a soft smile appeared on your face. How nice and lovely they were! 
You caressed the bouquet of roses on the smell, the little note gone. It was in your cupboard now, you didn't want to lose it so you kept it, carefully. 

You took the phone and texted Jungkook quickly. Nothing left to do. You finished all the work from the assigned office, contacted your best friend and family, and took care of yourself. Now the only thing left to do was wait for him, but you but almost 2 hours were left till he came. Not knowing what to do, you drifted off to sleep. 

---Time skip 

You moaned softly, feeling yourself covered with something warm. You snuggled closer to the warm surface without much thought, it felt so warm and nice. You heard a soft giggle, it sounded familiar. But your body wasn't working, you could hear some noises and felt something on your hair, moving. A hand? 

You had no idea where you were if you were alive or dead. But not much later, after trying to gain strength, you slowly opened your lips to see a cloth. A t-shirt. You raised your head to see a familiar face, smiling at you. Oh, it was him. 

That warm nice surface you were snuggling in, it was his- chest. You blinked quietly as he giggled again, that giggle. Right, it made sense. He was there, hugging you and caressing your hair as you were sleeping. 
"Are you okay? You seem... blank." He said, smiling. He knew you were processing your life. 
You looked at the time, 11:30 pm. Your eyes widened as you sat up immediately asking, "Hey!" 

"When did you come?!" You asked as he said, "Hmm... probably an hour ago? I ran a little late but saw you sleeping." 
"Oh.. did you eat?" You asked as he said, "Nope. I was waiting for you." You couldn't help but smile, yawning. He patted your head and said, "You look so angelic while sleeping." 
"Yeah... that's why you hugged me without my knowledge?" 
"And you kept snuggling closer without your knowledge." 

His reply made you let out a snort. You burst into giggles as he smiled, admiring you. 
"Let's go get some dinner." He said as you nodded. 

---After dinner

"I'm full.." You said, standing near the bed and sighing as Taehyung stood beside you, "Of course, you'd be! I brought the best pizza." 
"More like you forced me to eat the cold pizza but okay, thanks." You said. He smiled blankly and said, "You love retorting, don't you?" 
You nodded, agreeing completely as he sighed. 
"I was kidding." You smiled and put your arms around him who smiled and held you by your waist, firmly. 

"Were you sad today?" He asked, seeing you smile tightly. Your smile faded a little as you stared at him saying, "You know too much." 

"Was it hard?" He asked, his one hand making its way to tuck a few strands of your hair falling on your face. 
"Hmm... not really. I mean, I did miss dad a lot. I had so much work to do, it was exhausting. But... someone said that flowers can make all your tiredness go away, I think that was kinda true." You said with your lips pressed. He smiled and said, "You're so strong, ah..." 
"I know right." You giggled and said, "What about you? How was your day?"

"It was... exhausting. I had to work from 8 am till 10:30.. being a CEO is not easy at all, wifey." He said. You nodded and said, "It's okay, let's go to bed now." 
The innocence and care in your tone made him smile as he planted a kiss on your forehead, nose and then your lips. You giggled at the tingly sensation. 
"I haven't kissed you in so long.." 
"You mean 14 days...? That's not too long." 

"It is!" He complained as you chuckled saying, "Really? Are you some clingy monkey who craves affection, husband?" 
He nodded saying, "Yes.. a clingy monkey, if that's how you want to put it." 
He seemed fed up, with a frown yet a smile. You giggled and plopped on the bed, detaching yourself from him. 

"Summer's near... again! It doesn't rain that much during summer. Sounds like good news for you." You said as he said, "Truly... I might be learning more from the therapy classes. Well, she said I might have to go through a test, with thunder noises. And I have to practise how to control myself." 
"It's okay, you can do it. I'll be with you!" You said, smiling. He smiled back and nodded, a bubble of love and warmth appearing around both of you, which wasn't visible but you both felt it, together. 

---A few days later 

"I hate periods.." You groaned out as Taehyung came in the room asking, "What are you saying to yourself?" 
"Nothing really.." You said and rested your head on the bedboard but suddenly, felt a weight on your lap. Looking down, you saw Taehyung's face. He was lying on your lap, these days, he started doing that a lot, more than often. 
"Hey..." 

He hummed, looking at you as you said, "I'm on my period.." 
"Oh really?" He asked as you nodded. He nodded and said, "So?" 

"Aren't you disgusted...? I'm bleeding..." Your words put a frown on his face. 
"That doesn't matter. It's natural for women to be on periods... why do you think I'd be disgusted? I love lying on your lap." He said as you just stared at him. The guy just sounded like an angel. 

"I thought boys were secretly disgusted about periods?" You asked as he let out a snort saying, "That's 'boys' Y/N. I'm a man. True men don't act petty." You let out a chuckle and said, "Man? Then... my man?"
"Yes, your man. I'm your man." He said as you giggled but your actions came to a halt when you felt a pain in your lower abdomen. You shut your eyes and groaned. He got up and said, "Does it hurt?" You nodded, holding that area. 
He helped you lay on the bed and said, "Let me.." 

His warm hands caressed your clothed abdomen as you sighed, feeling slight relief. But the pain was still a lot, unbearable.
"Do you need painkillers?" You nodded, breathlessly. He quickly rushed out of the bed and took out the medicine and a glass of water, coming to you. He helped you sit up and said, "Open your mouth." 
You listened to him and drank the water that he fed you. 
"More water?" He asked, you shook your head. 

He caressed your hair and helped you lay down saying, "Hey, it's okay... the pain will go away." 

---Next morning 

You woke up, feeling the sunlight on your face. It would help if you started closing the curtain before sleeping at night. You realized you were in Taehyung's room and frowned. You got up and looked around, to see no one. 
Suddenly, you felt like you heard some noise from the bathroom. Was he showering? 

You sat there, sighing. Suddenly, you saw the door open but your breath hitched when you noticed how Taehyung came out, wearing a pair of dark jeans.
"What the f-" You were about to curse but stopped. Shit- the guy was so... perfect.
You were basically gawking at him, not as if you've never seen him shirtless before, but you did, once... and it was the same situation. But this time, you couldn't help your eyes. 

His muscles bounced as he closed the door. His hard, toned chest... the abs on his stomach, so defined... just like chocolate- You tried not to grin seeing the eye candy in front of you. 
Your heart was pounding so hard, that he hadn't even noticed that there was someone gawking at him, eating him out with her eyes until his gaze fell on you. "Oh? You're awake?" 
You just nodded, not being able to close your mouth which was shamelessly hanging on the floor. 
He looked at you and tilted his head before smirking a little. What a deja vu.. 

He walked closer and closer, seeing you try your best not to grin shamelessly. You pretended like you saw nothing but he knew, you saw more than your face claimed to. He stood beside you, took the lotion from the shelf beside the bed and started applying it to his body. You side-glanced at him, looking away. What was he doing?! 

"Umm..." You gulped and cleared your throat, facing him as he looked at you saying, "Stare all you want, I don't mind." 
"Hey! I wasn't... w-what are you-" You couldn't breathe properly, why was he so straightforward?! 

You heard a chuckle but your eyes widened as you saw him walking closer, leaning near you. He leaned in close to your face and said, "It's okay... I know I have a good body, you've seen it before, haven't you? It's all for you anyway... feel free." 
The never-ending smirk on his face made your whole body red. The blush rose up to your neck and ears and cheeks... anything that could possibly exist. Your heart was pounding so hard, you could hear it. You let out a shaky breath once he walked away, towards the closet, picking a shirt. 

"All for me..? Kill me already."
