Ok then I’ll take your leave Mr. Pkc.. Randhir said, while leaving he looked at sanyu indicating he will wait for her outside..
Sanyu smiled looking at randhir..

Sa – ok sir, I’ll leave for lunch..
Pkc – ya ok..
Sanyu went and met randhir who is waiting for her..

ha finally you came.. Randhir smiled..
Sa – ha I was feeling really hungry.. Come na let’s have lunch..
And both went to near by restaurant…
Soon the food arrived and sanyu started gobbling it like she was starving from ages..

Sanyu eat slowly, no one is going to snatch this plate from you.. Randhir laughed seeing her eating like a child...
While sanyu smiled, flashing her teeth to randhir..
Sa – I’m sorry randhir… because of me you have to come all the way here..
Atleast we are having lunch together because of this…  randhir smiled..
What are your plans for Sankranti festival.. Randhir asked sanyu..
Sa – I didn’t plan anything.. But I’m thinking go to my dad’s village.. 
Ra – but why..? We can celebrate it here right..?
Sa – Sankranti, we can enjoy a lot in villages..  But I’m planning to go,  need to ask dad about this first..
Why don’t you join me if I’m going…
Ra – I can’t come sanyu.. Tomorrow I have a meeting with Mr. Chang..

Sa – please na.. ‘why can’t you can postpone it..?’
Ra – sorry  yaar.. He is leaving tomorrow… so I can’t skip the meeting. It’s really important..

Sa – ya. Its ok.. I’ll ask parth, arpitha and ishika.. If they are interested to come along with me..

And both bid bye to each other and left..

Sanyu called parth and asked him to meet her, after her office hours…

Are wah..what is the special today that you remembered me.. Parth mocked her.. While arpitha and sanyu glared him..
Ha thik hi thik ki… now tell me what’s the matter.. Parth asked twisting his lips..
Parth tum na nautanki ki dukaan ho.. Sanyu mocked him while arpitha chuckled giving a hifi to sanyu…

Waise what is the matter yaar.. you called us urgently.. Arpitha asked her..
Sa – ha tomorrow I’m going to nanamma’s (father’s mother) place for sankranti festival you guys wanna join me..?
Ar – ha sanyu I’m in.. Maza ayega.. I heard Sankranti is superb in villages.. Kyu parth you will also come right..!
Ha is there any other option for me.. Parth said half intrestedly..

Its ok parth if you don’t wanna come.. We will go and enjoy a lot.. Arpita said winking at sanyu..
No I’ll come… parth shouted while sanyu and arpi bursted into laughter..

Next day sanyu, parth, arpi and ishika started their journey to sanyu’s village .. Yes sanyu asked ishika to join them..
As soon they reached the village in the early morning they are welcomed by beautiful rangolis with gobbemma ( it is a ball made of cow dung, they make cow dung into a round ball, keep them in the rangoli and decorate with flowers), gangireddu melam, haridasulu..

Since it is the day of Bhogi, people started burning bhogi mantalu ( like campfire) early in the morning..
Sanyu was enjoying every bit of the festival..
Sanyu, who are these people.. Ishika asked seeing haridasulu..

Are ishika they are haridasulu.. In the month of Sankranti they used to roam in the village. Since this is the favorite month of lord vishnu they go to every house singing songs on lord vishnu... They won’t beg for food or money, instead they sing songs early in the morning coming to every house..
Every one give some thing or the other to them as a token of graritude for making them wake up by singing songs on god or by saying god’s name.
Ooh.. Its so nice of them yaar..

They reached home finally.. Sanyu ran into the house and engulfed her grandparents into a tight hug chirping a miss you to them..
Trio went outside to welcome their remaining guests..

‘Parth, see and step your foot,’ here sanyu was shouting but the blunder happened..
Parth stepped on to cow dung which is placed in the rangoli neatly decorated with flowers..

Every one started laughing seeing this while parth pouted..
Come and wash you feet sanyu’s grand father took him inside..
Sanyu sighed she was already missing randhir..

As soon as she stepped inside the house, she was shocked to see her father and piyush goyal coming from back side of the house..
‘Papa’ both sanyu and ishika said in unison..
When did you both came.. Sanyu asked in shock
Yesterday you sent me a message telling you want to come here.. And actually beta I was planning the same so I thought to give you a surprise.

Wow papa, you are becoming smart day by day sanyu said hugging her dad..
Toh papa kiska hai.. Kishore said smiling..
But dad how come you are here..? Ishika asked..
Beta, this is our village also… when Kishore said he is going to village, I accompanied him.
Wow uncle maza ayega..! Parth exclaimed
It would be so nice if randhir is here.. Sanyu thought..

Beta go and get ready, we will have bhogi mantalu sayu’s grand mother said
Every one left to freshen up..
While piyush, kishore along with his dad went to arrange the things for bhogi mantalu..
Every one got ready and did their prayes to god and finally went to lit the bhogi mantalu..
They kept ready the timber or bamboo logs, barks of trees, flattened cow dung cakes ( pidakalu).

Sanyu’s grand mother asked her to lit the fire since she is the only grand daughter and most pampered one in the family..
Sanyu came farward and lit the fire with a camphor placing on it..

This bhogi manta is not only used to produce heat , but the vapors which are coming from this fore are very useful for our body, they have some medicinal purpose to, because these are not only the harvest waste, we lit some tree barks too. Sanyu’s grand father explained them..

We are throwing the old things in the fire, it means we need to leave the old things which happened in our life and start with the new things.. Because we can’t change what ever happened in the past so leave them and start new.. Ishika’s father piyush explained about bhogi to them..
