Preeta was shown standing beside her room's window, sunlight falling directly over her face making her look more angelic.

She was sipping her coffe while looking outside surroundings. Just then, her alarm rang and she smiled.

She went and turned it off and then sat on her bed. She ran her eyes all over her room, a tint of sadness in her eyes.

Why?

Because tomorrow, she will be gone. Tomorrow, these things will be the same, but she will not be there. The room she has been living almost from the beginning of her life, now she won't live here anymore.

When she will open her eyes after the long sleep, she won't see these surroundings.

This alarm clock, to which she has been cursing since last three years especially, won't be the one waking her.

Her bed, on which she loves to dive on after a long and tiring day and the bed which has been providing her the bestest of sleeps even on her toughest of days, won't be anymore with her.

This mere thought!

This mere thought of leaving her surroundings and shifting to another was breaking her heart, she don't want to leave all this, this soon.

But she has too.

Unknowingly, the tears start falling from her eyes and she wipes them and smiles.

"Preetaaa! Ready hojaaa!" The voice of Rhea di (Ranbir's sister) reached her ears and she gets up from her bed and walks towards the wardrobe.

Taking her outfit out, she went towards the washroom to get ready.

After all, it was her mehndi today and haldi and the marriage tomorrow.

10 days passed like seconds, In the preparation of marriage. Preeta was initially excited, But as the day came closer and she realised what precious things she is leaving behind, The grief was equal.

Their marriage is simple, not many people are invited because of rakhi's condition.

A simple marriage! Which she always wanted.

She didn't wanted to spent lakhs of money on her marriage, rather she prefers to donate that money in some social work.

And that's whats happening.

She was delighted as well she was sad.

But, this is what almost every girl do at one or any other point in life.

Preeta was shown sitting in between two girls who were applying mehndi in her palms.

She was dressed in a navy blue lehenga with white embroidery. She paired it with diamond necklace and left her hair open. Her bindi on her forehead was acting as cherry on cake.

She was looking angelic as ever. The glow, that a bride always had on her face was clearly visible on her face.

She smiled seeing the happy faces around her. Her parents, along with pranbir's family were present there.

And, they were really enjoying alot, as they enjoy in some festival.

Participating in every small Rasams was a bliss. Doing every chore by themselves, they were enjoying this marriage to the fullest.

Currently too, All the girls were busy applying mehndi in their hands and boys were given the task to entertain them so that, they don't feel bore and also, to serve them whatever they ask for.

Soon, preeta's mehndi was done. She looked at her mehndi and automatically, a beautiful smile adorned her face.

Her mehndi was indeed beautiful and the thing which was making her mehndi more beautiful was his name, 'karan'.

She was smiling seeing her mehndi when prachi came to her and gave her teasing smile. Seeing prachi, preeta immediately composed her expression.

Prachi narrowed her eyes at her and then bumped her shoulder with hers teasingly.

"Pree darling! Blush krna h to krle! M tere bajarbattu ko nhi bataugi!" Prachi said and winked at her.

Prachi sat beside preeta as the girls who were applying mehndi left.

Prachi was giving teasing looks to preeta who was glaring her. Prachi raised her eyebrows confusingly asking, "what?"

"Tujhe kitni baar kaha h unhe bajarbattu sirf m bula sakti hu!!" Preeta said possessively, still glaring prachi.

Listening preeta, prachi's face became blank and she slapped her forehead seeing her possessiveness.

Just when she was about to reply but Rhea di came and started taking selfies and making reels with them.

Screen shifts to Luthra house

"I repeat ruchika! Shaadi meri h! Teri nahiiiii" Karan says, hell hell hellllllll frustrated with ruchika.

There the sassy queen was, sitting in the middle of the hall in her t shirt and shorts. Two girls were applying mehndi on her both hands and two girls were applying mehndi in her both legs.

As Karan said those words, the girls stopped applying mehndi and looked at ru.

"Are aree! Ignore him na! Continue!" Ru said, ignoring Karan completely. The mehndi girls nodded and started applying mehndi again.

Karan groans in frustation as Ru did that and acts to pull her neck, To which, ru shows her tongue to him.

"Bhaiii! Aapko kya itni panchayat h! Aap bhabhi ke khayalo m mast raho na! Aur unke khayal nhi aa rhe, to 10 din pehle wali baat yaad krlo" Ru said Smirking.

Karan's irritated face turns to a blank and a little embrassed one. Little okay!

He sighs and walks from there. Ru started laughing crazily looking at his face due to which her mehndi got messes up.

She looks at her mehndi being horrified.

"Ohh nooo!!" Ru yells making a crybaby face. Her yelling made the mehndi girls flinch.

Just then Karan's laughter sound came from the upstairs. She turned to found him standing on the stairs and laughing.

She shot him a glare but he continues to laugh.

Ru plucks her lips upwards and acts to cry.

"Meri bhabhi ko aane de! Tab bataugi aapko to! Huh!" Ru says in mind and looks at ru who was still laughing like a crazy person.

Some hours later

Preeta, Rhea, prachi and Ranbir were shown walking on the empty streets of Mumbai.

It was late night, Cold breeze was blowing along with the moon shining brightly in the sky. These 4 were out for a walk.

"Haaye pree! Krle aaj aish! Kyuki kal se tu bachelor Naa rahegi" Ranbir said, trying to tease preeta.

Preeta just smiled sweetly in return making Ranbir gulp and he started moving further fastly.

"Ayee! Dekho kulfi wale bhaiyaa" Prachi yelled gaining everybody's attention.

All looked towards the direction to see a kulfi ka thela their. All slapped their foreheads and prachi ran towards it. All followed her.

"Bhaiya! Ek kaju badam kulfi dena!" Prachi spoke up excitedly.

"Prachi Wrachi! Tum ek saath 10 kulfi hi maang lo na! Kyuki baad m to tumhe mangna hi h!" Ranbir spoke up from behind causing Rhea and preeta to burst in fits of laughter. Ranbir too joined them in laughing.

Prachi smacked his arm making a pout and Ranbir went and stood beside preeta laughingly.

All were just randomly chit chatting when suddenly preeta saw kulfis coming towards her, flying.

She widened her eyes and looked upto find nobody! The kulfi ka thela was their, kulfi was coming flying but no Rhea, Ranbir and prachi were their.

Suddenly, she listened a sound of horn from behind. She turned and the flashlight of a car directly fell over her eyes and she covered her eyes with her hand as a reflex.

Suddenly she felt a hand wrapping around her waist. She widened her eyes and turned around immediately to be faced by him.

She widened her eyes looking at him while he just smiles and pulls her more closer by waist. Her arms clutch his shoulder blades as they both look into each other's eyes.

Samjha nahi ye dil

Karan sings the song and preeta looks down, blushing by his action. Karan brings his one hand to her face and cups her cheek from a side.

Maine dekha tujhe bhulake
Har ek tarqeeb lagake

Karan makes a pout singing it and preeta to makes a pout seeing him pouting.

Har nuskhe ko aazmake
Par dil se kabhi na utre

Karan leaves her and dances on the hook steps of the lyrics. Preeta smiles seeing him dancing. Karan comes and hold her hand, twirls her and make her fall in his arms.

Hangover teri yaadon ka

Karan pulls her upwards and holds her securely in her arms, he leans brushing his nose with her cheeks and then plants a soft sensual kiss on her cheeks.

"Preetaaaaaaa!!!"

A sound echoes in her ears and she blinks her eyes to find Ranbir, Rhea and prachi back and looking at her with annoyed eyes.

"Welcome back to earth maddam!" Prachi said giving her the most bored look ever.

Preeta smiles sheepishly and takes the kulfi from Ranbir's hand.

"Log sote time sapne dekhte h! Ye to khuli aankho se dekhne lagi" Ranbir said.

Preeta ignores him royally and continues eating her kulfi.

After finishing the kulfi, they all walks back to Arora house but preeta's mind was still stuck there.

Next morning, Luthra house

Karan was shown sitting in the middle of the lawn of luthra house, where his haldi ceremony is to be take place.

The place was decorated beautifully with yellow marigolds and the path leading to the place was done with red roses.

Karan was sitting there in white kurta and pyjamas, a smile over his face and was talking with Mahesh and his mausis who came for his marriage.

Just then, he saw ru and rakhi coming with the haldi which they are bringing after the blessings of the almighty.

All smiles and rakhi comes and places the haldi on the small table kept in front of Karan. Ru passes the mango leaves to her.

Rakhi dips the leaves in haldi and then applies it on Karan's forehead, then cheeks, then arms, then knees and ends it on his legs. After completing the ritual, She kisses his forehead with utmost affection.

She smiles in tears seeing his son getting married. Karan to smiles as it had been long since their was any affectionate connection between them, they hardly talked as Karan was busy in his studies and rakhi in her chores.

But today, seeing her this happy and that kiss made him contented. He thought about this alot, That whether he should do this marriage or not, but now! He don't regret it even a bit.

He runs his eyes to every person. Ru, Mahesh, his relatives, everywhere! And found only and only happy faces which he hadn't seen in a while. He smiles and the ritual goes on.

After everyone had applied haldi on him, Ru comes with a devilish smirk. Karan narrows his eyes at her.

She dips the leaves in the bowl of haldi and then, instead of applying the haldi through leaves, she changes the leaves in the nick of time and spills the whole bowl of haldi over him.

She did it in just a mere fraction of second that nobody was able to predict it.

She starts laughing crazily seeing Karan's face full yellow of haldi. And Karan was just..He was not able to understand what happened and when he, he rewarded ru with the most deadliest glare ever.

"Ru ki bachiiii" Karan shouts.

"Arey arey bhai! Mere kaha bache! Bache to abhi aapke hoge, preeta bhabhi ke saath" Ru said and winks at Karan.

And that was it. All their relatives started laughing and Karan started looking here and there out of embrassment.

This girl is such a tease.

Ru to joins them in laughing and we can easily see that little shade of Red on Karan's face although it was yellow.

As everyone was busy laughing, Karan quickly grabs another bowl of haldi and spills it over ru.

And it was beyond expectation.

Ru was shocked beyond core. She looks at Karan with widened mouth and it was Karan's turn to laugh at her.

"Karannn bhaiiiiii!" Ru yells and starts chasing him. All elders laugh seeing the duo.

And the game continues.

Later on, at Arora house

Ru enters inside the beautifully decorated arora mansion with the haldi, and looks at the mansion in 'aww'

As it's a ritual, that which haldi had been applied on the groom, the same haldi will be applied to the bride. So ru was here to the give the haldi.

Along with her, Mahesh had also came as Karan and preeta were not allowed to meet until marriage and letting ru go alone was itself a risk.

After running her eyes over the mansion, ru's eyes land on preeta who was sitting in the middle of the stage all ready in her haldi outfit and was looking at her with a smile.

Seeing her, ru excitedly walks to her, places the haldi bowl in front of her and then kisses her cheeks.

"Aap bahut jyadaaa pretty lag rhe ho bhabhi!" She says. Preeta smiles at her and says a 'thank you'.

Mahesh to comes there and looked at preeta with a smile. Preeta too smiles widely at him and says,

"Namaste uncle!" She says and Mahesh greets her back.

Later, Ru and Mahesh were greeted by sarla and raghuveer and all.

After the greetings, all started applying haldi on preeta one by one. And as strict instructions given by sarla to the kids, No one spilled the haldi over her.

But pranbir have other plans.

After everyone had applied haldi on preeta, Prachi signals Ranbir to go and turn the music on. He did and slowly slowly pulled everybody on the dance floor.

While dancing he slowly slowly took the bowl of haldi and spilled it over preeta who looks at him with wide eyes. But Ranbir acts as if he was dancing.

Preeta smirks and take another bowl of haldi and threw it over Ranbir but mistakenly it got spilled over prachi.

Dead. Dead. You are so dead preeta arora.

Prachi gives preeta the most most deadliest glare ever ever and preeta gulps hard.

"You are sooo gonee preee!" Prachi yells and throws another bowl of haldi at preeta.

And it hat also, but as Rhea was standing beside preeta, more than half of the haldi got spilled over her.

She looks at prachi and prachi bits her tongue. Just then, ru came and spilled another bowl of haldi over Ranbir.

All started laughing and Ranbir looks at ru with blank expression.

"Enjoy Ranbir bhaiya!" Ru says and Ranbir hits his forehead in disbelief.

And this is how the game started.

All youngsters were spilling haldi over each other and soon, the drawing room of arora mansion was converted into a haldi ground.

Spilling haldi over each other, laughing and enjoying, teasing each other. This was how the haldi of to be Mrs. Luthra took place.

After their haldi game was over, all kids settled themselves on the sofas and couches.

"Uff! This is the best haldi yaar! Itna maza aaya yaha! Mere ghar to bas m aur karan Bhai hi the..but yaha! It was lit!" Ru says.

Everyone nods.
