Murty Mansion

Mukti unlocked the door while entering the house she found it dark with single dim light as it is kept on when no one tend to be home. Frowning she walked in, in search or to spot her husband but he was nowhere to be found.

His study room was untouched while the mess what she created earlier was still the same way.

Sighing she walked in to clear the stuff while she found a new file or mostly shattered papers thrown on the floor.

And been a curious cat how can she not have a look on them.

Collecting them in a pile she set them down on his table to find them to be his office paper work and not some Aladdin treasure.

Walking out of the room she tried to call him to know where he had gone after his drinking session, to find him cutting her calls back to back.

Mu : Why he has to be this way ?
She sighed throwing the phone on the bed as she walked in to change.

Back to Nandini

The way back home was really awkward for Nandini.

Manik didn't exchange a single word after that messes encounter with Siddhartha.

He turned out to be busy with Cabir and finally a sleepy Maria.

As he drove the car while she sat next to him staring outside the window with occasion glance towards his side who not even once looked in her way.

It turned out while going back too he asked one of the waiter to tell her he was waiting for her in parking area making her more uncomfortable as to why he suddenly decided to be so unusual than he was few hours ago.

And she couldn't ask for an eventful night after a long shocking day.

So confronting him now would be a bad idea.

But still who know's what was in store for her ahead.

His phone was lying in the dashboard between them while as the car stopped his phone rang displaying the user Id which made Nandini immediately look at him with unknown fear.

Why was that woman calling him so late at 12.45 am she frowned while he simply picked up the phone without sparing a glance towards her.

Man: Hello......
He answered in his usual tone while Nandini waited for further exchange of words.

By just seeing him pick her call she had unknown tears in her eyes.

Man: I am in middle of something will call you back in five.
He answered cutting the phone as he turned behind to find a yawning Maria who was about to fall back to sleep after the loud disturbing ringtone.

He climbed out carrying her sleeping figure while Nandini too moved out following him.

While this was watch by Abhi from his car who tend to reach home at that time like them, after they walked past him he stepped out too.

They entered the living room to find Mukti watching TV

Mu: You guys are back. I wasn't sleepy anymore so just.....
She said clumsily after giving back there reason of not feeling well while leaving the function in middle.

Nandini was least bother right now to catch her lies she had her full attention on something more important.

While Manik simply nodded carrying Maria upstairs.

Mu: Nandini you must be tired.......you should sleep soon
She said reaching to her while their conversation was cut by Abhi who walked in.

Abhi: Yup you should be in bed Nandini.
He said making Nandini turn to looked at his smiling face.

Abhi: Have a good night sleep Nandu because tomorrow day is going to be long and special for you.
He said walking towards her making her frown.

Abhi: Keep yourself free tomorrow around 11.00 we have to met someone important and who will tend to be quite important for you henceforth
He said keeping hand on her head.

While she stared at him surprise would be underrated word for now.

Abhi: Good Night.
He snapped her out from her thoughts as he showed her the way upstairs.

Nan: Good Night.
She replied not knowing how to react.

Abhi: Wear a saari for tomorrow's meeting. And don't worry about who it is you will get to know that soon. Just sleep well.
He said stopping her while she simply nodded.

Her mind was struck somewhere else.

Why didn't Manik talk to the woman infront of her ? Why did she even call ?

As Nandini walked away Abhi sat on the couch eyeing Mukti who was ready to bombarded him with questions.

Mu: Will you please tell me what are you upto now ?
She asked pressing her temples while Abhi simply chuckled walking to the bar again.

Mu: You were drinking when I left for the function and now too you are ?  Abhi you were half drunk in that state where did you go ?
She shouted walking towards him again.

Abhi: How was the function ?
He asked changing the topic while she pulled the bottle away from his hold.

Mu: Answer me first where were you ?
She asked again while he took another bottle from the stand.

Abhi: Had a date
He said making her eye go wide open.

He laughed seeing her reaction as he pulled her more towards him by her waist.

Abhi : Kidding
He whispered in her ears while he took her hands to caress his thumb but stopped in trance looking at her with a frown

Abhi : You didn't apply henna ?
He asked while she moved alittle away from his hold making him stand on his feet as he pulled her hands back in his hold

Until he saw those red marks on her skin making him go all mad now.

Abhi: Who did this.....how did you get these marks ?
He asked now serious all his heartily laughs were turned into death seriousness and anger.

Abhi: Answer me Mukti. How did you get these marks ?
He asked pulling her lace sleeves up of her night gown

Mu: I just scratched nothing to worry about.
She replied looking away while marking his sudden change of mood

Abhi: Who did it ?
He yelled now on her face making her scared as she jerked away.

Mu: I said....it's....just
She stammered moving little by little away while Abhi anger was on another level now.

Abhi: You know how much I hate lies but still you have to....fine don't say a word. I will find it out by myself.
He said angrily, walked past her while she looked in his way with shock and surprise.

After sometime

Nandini was pacing in her room with a frustrated face.

Nan: Why the hell was that woman calling him that too so late. Why didn't Manik talk infront of me wait might be Maria was sleeping so he didn't want to spoil her sleep haa Ayyiappa that will be the only reason for sure. What was I thinking. Par what if he decide to give his marriage another chance again. Nandini what are you thinking in that case you should (stammered).....pray for him that...... whatever is good for him....haa.... that he should be happy if he give her again a chance.... Soha is really going.....
She pulled her hair falling on the bed with tears flowing from her eyes she rolled on the bed putting pillow on her head crying her heart out.

Why does getting attached to people hurt so much.

Manik cut the call in anger and walk down passing by the living room he see's Abhi lying near the pool area legs hanging in the water while he sleep on the floor.

Man: What the heck are you upto ?
He yells while Abhi sits up resting his elbow on the ground.

Abhi: Now what is this related to because I have done many amazing things today.
He asked with a smirk raising his eyebrows making Manik grunted in annoyance.
