"Why are we here? " I asked him as he brought me to the hospital with him.

"To give you a reason to cry. " He replied, pulling me inside with him.

He took me to Nimmi's ward and I looked at him.

"Here, your dying sister, this is exactly why you should be crying right now. I need you to cry damn it and if you won't, I'm gonna pull this off. " He threatened pointing at the ventilator.

"What? " He confirmed and I looked at him.

"Do it. Kill her and me and let us be in peace and spend the rest of your life unsatisfied with the fact that you couldn't take your stupid revenge. " I told him shrugging and he looked at me with unreadable expressions.

"There's not even a single thing in the world Mr. Malhotra, for which I wish to live, except my sister. She's my one and only reason for being alive and the day, she will leave me, I won't be able to survive. " I told him caressing my sister's hair.

"This one here, is my everything. " I told him pointing at Nimmi.

"Nandini, you need strength to take care of your family and for that you need to eat. Now eat. " She stuffed the morsel inside my mouth and I sighed.

" I don't feel like eating. " I told her and she kept the plate aside and held my hands.

"But you'll have to eat. You need to be strong Nandu, you need to take care of yourself first, then only you'll be able to take care of them. Try to understand." She said and I sighed again before nodding.

"Good girl." She said smiling softly.

"Indeed. " I heard the voice I hated the most currently and found him standing on the doorstep.

"It's getting late, you must head home. I'll take over from here. " He told Navya who frowned before looking at me with confusion. But without asking her queries out, she nodded and gave me a tight hug.

"I know. " I told her and she nodded before heading out but stopped on her path.

"Oh, I forget, Rahul wanted to see Nimmi and you, so should I bring him tomorrow? " She asked and before I could say anything, the answer came.

"No. " Mr. Malhotra replied and she looked at him in confusion.

"Bye. " He added and she looked really offended and confused. Casting a last look of confusion at me, she left and he closed the door behind her.

"You don't have to stay here for the night." He said looking at Nimmi.

"Of course I have to, she's my sister Mr. Malhotra. " I told him and he looked at me.

"Okay." He agreed? Really? This easy?

"But just for tonight, you'll anyways be staying with me from tomorrow." I looked away as he added this.

"We are getting married tomorrow, remember? " How can I forget?

I nodded in response and he tilted his head a bit.

"I need you to answer in words Miss. Murthy. What's going to happen tomorrow? " He asked me like I'm a kid.

"You are marrying me tomorrow. " I answered and he looked at me with narrowed eyes.

"And what about you? " He asked and I frowned before I understood what he meant.

"We are getting married to each other, tomorrow. " I answered and he smirked with satisfaction.

"Right, now enjoy your one last night of freedom. I just can't wait to own you completely and have you by my side." He said taking me in a tight hug and pecking my hair, leaving me confused.

He broke the hug and looked at me with a smile.

"Take care, would be Mrs. Malhotra, Mr. Malhotra, doesn't loves you. " He said faking a smile and leaving with a smirk on his face.

"I know Mr. Malhotra, neither does would be Mrs. Malhotra. " I responded and he stopped.

"And that's exactly the fun in this. " He responded smirking.

"Must be really funny, having no one who loves you." Don't Nandini! Stop right away.

He looked at me like he will burn me alive with his gaze.

"The only person who genuinely loved me was killed by your lovely mother. " He responded with loathe.

"Don't blame your father's unfaithfulness on my mother. If your father was loyal enough, no one could have come between them. " I retorted and he walked furiously towards me before grabbing my neck.

"I'm not blaming anyone, I'm stating facts, I'm stating what I saw from my own eyes. I know that man is responsible but your mom is equally responsible. That f*cking gold digger—" "Mr. Malhotra! You are talking about my mother. " I yelled.

"I'm talking about a gold digger B!tch!" He yelled back and I punched him.

He left my neck and held his face.

"What is happening here? " A sister dashed inside hearing our yelling and Mr. Malhotra gave her a deadly glare.

Without uttering a word, she dashed out and he looked at me with the same glare but I stood there unaffected.

After looking at me, like that for a moment, he grabbed my face and took in a long smooch.

I tried pushing him away but he was just too strong.

He wiped the blood of the corner of his lips on my lips and pushed me away, causing me to fall on the floor and I stretched my leg causing him to fall as well.

"You—" "Medicine time. " The doctor walked in and we looked at him, who didn't even looked at us for once.

"I'm pretending that my patient is the only human in here because the other two ain't acting like civilised humans. " He mumbled checking Nimmi.

"Say that again. " Mr. Malhotra threatened him getting up and doctor gulped.

"We are sorry, doctor. This won't happen again. " I immediately apologized and indicated him to leave before The Devil begins venting his anger on him.

The doctor, left as soon as he could after doing his work and all this while, the Devil had his eyes on me.

"Why did you apologize? " He asked after doctor left.

"Because we were at fault. This is a hospital and we can't be acting like we were, in here. Patients must be getting disturbed. You already scared that nurse and were scaring that doctor as well, who will look after my sister then? " I asked him and he looked at Nimmi.

"The best team of doctors. " He replied before dusting his jacket and heading out.

Why is this man so difficult to understand?

"And also." I jumped in surprise as he came back. "I haven't forgotten what you have done here. " He added before leaving again and this time, I went and closed the door myself.

This was it! My life was over after this one moment and the moment was already here.

"Congratulations. You two are husband and wife now."

And my life got ruined forever.

"Congratulations Mrs. Malhotra. " His voice had that devilish tone and he had a victorious grin plastered on his face.

I knew it was going to be difficult, but I didn't knew, it was going to this hard from the beginning itself.
