Thank you for the amazing response that you've been giving!  It really encourages me a lot❤

But I'm expecting some more comments😅

"Good morning? " Amyra's greeting came like a question seeing my gloomy expression.

"Not. " I added holding my head which was paining like anything.

"What happened? Lost it in just second day? " She asked chuckling and I closed my eyes.

"I couldn't sleep the whole night because of stupid mosquitoes and now the Head of evil won't let me be in peace. " I told her referring to our Boss and she chuckled.

"Go prepare his coffee before he comes, and remember to make it 'just the way he likes '." She said mocking me in a funny way but for me currently, not even Kapil Sharma was funny!

"I'm going, you want anything,  Ma'am? " I asked using 'ma'am' much to her annoyance.

"God Nandini, call me Amyra. You are just my assistant for name sake, in reality we both are his assistant. " She said and I shook my head.

"You are his assistant, I'm just a victim of his evilness. " I told her and she chuckled.

"I'll just go and prepare his coffee before he arrives. " I told her and she nodded before I headed towards the cafeteria.

A lot of people were already present there but I didn't had to wait because there was a special counter for Boss.

I prepared the same type of coffee that he selected after rejecting six.

"Hey,  new assistant right? " Someone called me from behind and I turned to find a guy standing at some distance from me.

He looked a bit elder than me, around Mr. Malhotra's age but still had a boyish touch in his face. He was giving me a charming smile and I couldn't help but smile back.

"Yeah. " I confirmed his suspicion and he forwarded his hand for a hand shake.

"Dheeraj. " He introduced himself and I shook his hand.

" Nandini. " I told him my name and his smile grew.

"I'm from finance department. Mind having lunch with my team during lunch break? " He asked and I had no reason to deny.

"Not at all." I told him and he nodded before leaving my hand.

"I'll just leave9 Sir must be coming anytime now. " I told him looking at my wrist watch that showed it was 5 more minutes to 8.

"Okay, see you. " He said and I gave him a nod before heading towards Mr. Malhotra's cabin.

I knocked on his door since Amyra had told me that he has already arrived, and heard his 'come in' before walking inside his cabin.

" Your coffee, Sir. " I kept the coffee on his table without looking at him even once.

" How do you know him? " He asked causing me to frown.

"Who Sir? " I asked looking down.

"That guy. " He said and my frown deepened.

"Which guy Sir? " I asked and heard him sigh.

" How many guys do you know? " He asked causing me to frown even more, if that was possible.

Why can't this man talk simply?

"Many. " I replied looking at the cup of coffee.

"But I'm talking about the guy you were talking to in the cafeteria. " He told me in a very disapproving tone.

"Oh Dheeraj, we just met. " I told him looking at me watch.

"Then why were you holding his hand? " Okay, this is getting annoying.

"We were shaking hands. " I told him looking at the floor.

"Why?" He asked causing me to frown.

"May I please know how does it concerns you Sir? " I asked with a very professional tone, without looking at him.

"No you may not! Now answer me! " He demanded causing me to exhale deeply.

"We were introducing ourselves to each other. " I told him getting really annoyed.

" And why are you not looking at me? " He asked.

BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO! I  wanted to yell this on his face but I'm way too mature and patient for that.

This man was actually testing my patience way too much.

"Answer me Miss. Murthy! " He demanded in a strict tone causing me to sigh.

"There's no reason, Sir. " And I wasn't really lying, there was no reason except that I didn't wanted to see his face. As simple as that!

"Okay then, look at me. " He demanded but I didn't oblige.

"I said look at me Miss. Murthy. " His tone was threatening but I closed my eyes instead of doing what he has asked me to.

I heard him getting up and he held my arms tightly before jerking me a bit.

"I SAID LOOK AT ME! " He yelled and I had to open my eyes.

I looked at him in the eyes and our eyes locked with each other. His eyes filled with anger, burning within themselves, with all the secrets they carried.

He had a lot of things deep within him and I was eager to know what it was. Before I could look more closely, he looked away breaking the eye lock.

He left my arms and went and sat back on his chair, looking away.

"Leave. " He said calmly but I stood there frowning at his bipolar behavior.

"LEAVE. " He yelled looking at me causing me to jump at the sudden yelling.

I walked towards the door as fast as I could but just as I was about to open the door to get out, I heard him saying something which made me stop.

"You are having lunch with me. " Frowning, I turned to look at him.

"But Sir—" He showed me his palm to stop before I could say any more.

"Don't forget where you are standing and who you are talking to. Here Miss. Murthy, all I want to hear from you is 'yes Sir', no ifs or buts. Got it?" He asked raising his eyebrows and I saw an extremely arrogant man in him.

"Yes Sir. " I obliged and he gave me a smirk.

I gave him the most accusing look possible for me before leaving the hell hole and heading towards my office.

Sitting on my seat, I held my already aching head and opened the first file I saw.

Why does he wants me to have lunch with him? What has he planned? What will other people think when they'll get to know that I'm having lunch with the Boss? Oh God!

What to do? I don't want to have lunch with him! I won't be able to have food with such a bad vibe. No no please, save me! Please.

I can do one thing, I'll just work during lunch break and not eat, it'll save me from having lunch with that Head of Evil and I don't think he'll have any objections seeing that I'm just working for his company.
