Manik: Raghav?

Raghav: I see you remember me... This made me so happy.

Manik: You were in jail right then how come here?

Raghav: (laughing) So the commissioner didn't inform you about the little stunt I performed? No worries I will tell you... So I ran away from there.

Manik: What do you want?

Raghav: Nandini.

Manik: You-

Manik was about to pounce on him but Dhruv and Cabir holds him.

Raghav: (laughing) Ooo gussa aarha hai... I am scared. Dont forget Manik Nandini is still in my hands. I can do whatever I want... Do you get me 'whatever'.

Manik: Cabir leave me I will kill him today.

Cabir: Manik cool down... Raghav why are you doing this?

Raghav: You are asking me why? Like seriously because of you guys I had to spend 10 years in jail just because of you guys.... These 10 years I made the perfect plan to destroy you guys but you know what... When I saw Nandini...(he went near her) God she is so hot... I am glad she didn't die that day or I didn't sold her to someone else.... I must say you guys did a good job in taking care of her... So I changed my mind and thought to let you go but but but... Its a give and take relation so I gave you freedom now your turn to give me Nandini.

As soon as he said that he was rewarded by a punch from none other than Mukti.

Mukti: How can you even think that we will give you Nandini.

Raghav: Because you guys are fools... You know I didn't had to waste my energy in fooling you guys I just sent her parents and you guys accepted them.

Navya went near Nandini's parent.

Navya: How could you do this to your own child?

NM: Dont call her our child we have long ago abandoned her.

All this while Nandini was quiet but now she needed answer so she spoke.

Nandini: Why? Why would you do that to me? What was my mistake?

NM: (with disgust) You yourself is a big mistake.... We never planned having a baby but we got the news that I was pregnant with you... The moment we came to know we were going to abort the child but it could risk my life too so having no other option we had to keep the child... I never wanted to see you again at least in this lifetime but then Raghav came to us and offered us a huge amount for you which we couldn't deny... We had to act like we love you it was so difficult for us because every time I saw your face I felt like how could I give birth to such a kid... (to others) You guys remember the pasta incident? It was me who dropped that vessel on her and acted as if I saved her to gain your trust and see I succeeded.

She started laughing as if she was proud of what all she did. Nandini was deeply hurt by her words that she was just looking at the floor tears falling one by one from her eyes. Everyone saw her it broke their heart into millions of pieces to see their baby in that condition. Navya went and slapped her mom hard on her cheeks that she fell down.

Manik was about to go towards Nandini but Raghav stopped him.

Raghav: Na Na dont even think of coming near her... Back to your place.

Manik: Nandini baby look at me please... (but she didn't) Nandini bacha don't listen to her... she is jealous of you baby so she is saying all this... See we all love you right your Dadda, Bhai, Di everyone loves their Nandini.... Baby please look at me.

He was growing impatient as Nandini was not responding him and Raghav was getting on his nerves as he was not allowing him to near her. He was so angry right now that veins were popping out of his hand he went and punch him hard on face.

Raghav: You-

He punched him again. Raghav's men were about to attack him but before they could reach him boys pounced on them and this lead to fight. Navya and Mukti had caught Nandini's mom while Alia went and freed Nandini from chair.

Manik kept on punching Raghav not allowing him even once to defend himself. Blood oozing from his mouth bruise all over his face. All the other boys had handled the men and saw that Manik was still fight while Raghav had almost lost his conscious so they immediately went and separated him.

Manik: Leave me I will kill him today.... He deserve to die.

Cabir: Manik Manik he deserves to die but not from you... if you kill him today you will be in jail and then what about Nandini who will handle her?

He then glanced at Nandini who was still lost in her own thoughts. He kicked him for one last time and went towards Nandini he immediately took her in his embrace. After 5 min when he noticed Nandini didn't hugged him back he broke the hug and cupped her face.

Manik: (softly) Baby look at me.... See I am here everything is fine now.... I am there na with you. Within few minutes we will go back home ok. (she didn't respond) Baby please say something you are scaring me. Don't keep everything inside you take it out dear.

At the same time the policemen entered there and arrested Raghav and his men and even Nandini's parents. Manik went to talk with commissioner while Nandini was with the girls.

Manik: I will be back in a minute ok baby... then will go back.

He pecked her forehead and went.

Manik: Why didn't you inform me that Raghav ran away from jail?

Com: I thought we will find him... I am sorry sir.

Manik: Keep your sorry with you because of your foolishness my girlfriend had to suffer... I am telling you Raghav should suffer inside the jail... Do whatever you want he should not be bailed at least no in this lifetime.

Com: Don't worry Sir I will take care of it.

In all this they didn't notice Raghav. He secretly took the gun from the policemen who was holding him.

Raghav: (shouts) Manik Nandini is mine... For that you need to die.

He points the gun at him and fired the bullet. Everyone was shocked to even react.

Everyone: MANIK!!!!!

The policemen immediately takes the gun from his hold and kneel him. While on the other hand Manik waited for the pain but that never happened because Nandini came in between and took the bullet in order to save him.

Few mins back:

Nandini looks at her parents who were struggling in police hold that when she noticed Raghav secretly taking the gun.

Back to present

Because of the impact of the bullet Nandini fell on Manik. She was shot near her heart. Everyone went numb to see the turn of events. Manik holds Nandini and sat on the ground while she was facing difficulty in breathing. Everyone rushed towards them while Cabir and Dhruv went and started punching Raghav.

Abhi: Manik she is loosing a lot of blood and her heartbeat is getting low. We need to hurry up she needs medical care.

They picked her up and rushed in the car. Abhi was driving the car while Navya Manik and Nandini in the middle. Cabir and Dhruv stayed there to finish the police investigation.

Manik: (crying) Nandini see listen to me ok... Nothing is going to happen to you.... You will be fine... you have to be fine... Are you listening to me? You know right I need you I need my baby.

Nandini: I..(trying to breathe) I am tir...tired... I can't ta...take it... I was a mis...mistake... I need to rectify it... Dadda I LOVE YOU but I guess this is the end of us... We will me..meet in next lifetime.

Manik: (shaking his head vigorously) No No you are not leaving me... You need to fight for me for us... Please you cant leave me like that.

And she closed her eyes.

Manik: Hey (tapping her cheeks) Hey Nandini wake up... talk to me.. You cant do this to me... Please wake up.... Abhi sh..she is not waking up... Navya Mukti tell her please tell her to wake up.

Everyone was crying their eyes out. No one was able to speak. They just kept looking at Nandini's figure which was not even moving an inch right now.

Manik kept her face close to his chest hugging her so tight and crying pecking her forehead every minute. His hand was shivering. He couldn't take his eyes away from her caressing her hairs and cheeks.

After 5 min they reached hospital and they all rushed inside and laid her on the stretcher.

Abhi: Doctor... Doctor.

(Note: As Abhi is a family member he is not allowed to operate her.)

Two nurse and a doctor rushed towards them.

Doctor: Ohh god she has lost so much blood... Nurse take her to OT we need to operate her immediately.

They wheeled the stretcher and took Nandini inside but Manik stopped the doctor.

Manik: Doctor will she be ok?

Doctor: I cant say anything for now... She has already lost a lot of blood but we will try our best to save her.

Manik: Please doctor she is my life... save her I will pay you whatever amount you say but just save her.

Doctor went inside while others settled down on the bench. Navya and Alia were crying badly so Mukti made herself strong to handle them while Manik was scared for his life who was fighting inside even a single breathe. He broke down.

Abhi went towards him and hugged him.

Abhi: (patting his back) She will be fine... You cool down.

He was not able to form words heart beating fast with the thought of what might happen next. After some time Cabir and Dhruv arrived hospital. They enquired at the reception and went towards the OT ward. They saw everyone crying. As soon as Navya saw them she ran towards Cabir and hugged him and cried. He caressed her hairs in order to calm her down.

Cabir: She is going to be fine Navya... My sister is a fighter she will fight for us.

He was assuring her but inside he himself was scared and broken seeing his sister in that condition. He then went towards Manik and sat beside him but Manik didn't even looked at him his eyes were glued on the door the whole time.

2 hours passed but there was no update on her. The door opened and doctor came out. Everyone rushed towards him.

Manik: Doctor how is she? Is she fine?

Doctor: See young man I will not give you fake hopes but patients condition is very critical... The bullet was just an inch away from her heart but still it have damaged a lot of organs and already she had lost a lot of blood... We are trying our best but seems like the patient herself doesn't want to leave... She is not responding to our treatments... There's only 1% chance of her survival.

Suddenly a nurse came running outside.

Nurse: Doctor patient is not able to breathe.

They both rushed inside while for others it was like someone had snatched their soul from their body. Everyone there broke down. Manik fall on the ground crying hard. He had no strength left inside him.

Cabir went towards him and hugged him.

Manik: I wished I was in her place. I wished I was a bit alert. I failed. Everytime I promised to protect her but I failed in completing it.

Cabir: (crying) Manik please dont say this. You can never fail in protecting her. You tried everything you could but things didn't work that way.

After half an hour the doctor came out with a sad face. Manik had no strength to listen what he was saying.

Cabir: Doctor Nandini?

He sighed and nodded his head as no.

Doctor: I am sorry...

It felt like the time paused at that moment everyone went numb. Everything stopped for them. They couldn't take it anymore. They just cried and cried for their sister.
