Cabir turned around to see Navya standing behind him without wasting time he hugged her tight. She started rubbing his back.

Navya: Its ok Cabir she is fine. Nothing has happened to her. You are not going to loose your baby sister.

He broke the hug and said.

Cabir: How did you know what I was thinking?

Navya: I know you well Cabir. Your eyes tell everything thats going inside your mind. Its ok everything is fine now. I am sure Nandini we be fine soon.

He nodded his head and hugged her once again.

Cabir: Thank you Madhubala for understanding me so well and staying beside me.

Let's see what Manik is doing.

Manik was driving towards his secret place outside the city area. He reached in forest area and parked his car near by and went inside the forest. After 15 min of walk he reached at a beautiful waterfall. When Manik used to be stressed or sad he used to come at this place. No one knows about this not even Nandini. He laid down on the ground and closed his eyes listening to the voice of waterfall.

Manik POV

I know I might be wrong today by bring up this topic being stubborn to clear things, shouting at Nandini when she is not well, leaving her alone when she needs me the most but I am not brave enough to face her when I failed in completing my promise. I am scared. I am scared that again something like this might happened and she will not share with me. I am scared that maybe next time I loose her. She needs to know that I can't loose her. I love her more than my life.

He spent few more hours over there. When the sun started to set he left for his home.

At the Mansion

Everyone were trying to make Nandini have something but she was not listening to anyone.

Mukti: Nandu thoda toh kha lo. You know if you will skip your food Manik will get more angry.

Nandini: No Mukku di I will eat only when Dadda will feed me. Cabir Bhai call him na its almost night time and he has not returned yet.

Cabir: I tried many times but its not reachable. Dont worry he must be on his way.

As soon as he completed his sentence Manik entered inside the house. Nandini saw him and smile brightly she ran towards him and jumped on him. Manik was startled by such welcome.

Nandini: I missed you alottttttt. (she pecked his whole face)

Manik just hummed and went towards living room where everyone was waiting for them. He settled her on the sofa and sat a bit far from her. Nandini understood that he is still angry with her. So she went and sat on his lap.

Manik: Nandini what are you doing go and sit on the sofa.

Nandini:(pouts) But whenever you are beside me you never let me sit on sofa.

Manik smiled slightly seeing her cuteness but hides it immediately.

Manik: Fine do whatever you want to do.

Saying this he started talking with others ignoring her. Nandini was trying every ways to distract him by kissing him or biting him to which he only glared at her. Others were enjoying this show they knew that Manik is not angry anymore but is just teasing her. Nandini had enough of this ignorance so she hold his and made him look at her. He just raised his eyebrow as if asking 'what'.

Nandini: I think you have forgotten that your cute sa baby is with you waiting for your attention.

Manik: Is it? (to which she nodded with a pout) So tell that cute sa baby that I dont want to talk with her.

Nandini: Daddaaaaaaa Nandini is sorry. I will never hide anything from you. Please forgive me and talk with me. Pleaseeeeeeeee (showing her puppy eyes)

Manik: Only on one condition. You have to promise me you will never repeat such thing whatever the reason will be you will come and share it with me.

Nandini: Nandini Promise I will never hide anything from you. So am I forgiven?

Manik: Hmmm.... Let me think.

Nandini:(whinning) Daddaaaaaaaa

Manik: (laughing) OK OK you are forgiven happy.

She started dancing on his lap he stopped her and said

Manik: Dont you think you are forgetting something? (to which she shook her head) Someone was rude to her bhais and dis dont you thinking you should say sorry to them also.

She nodded her head and turned towards the direction where everyone was sitting.

Nandini: I am sorry for shouting at you all today. Please forgive me I will not repeat it again.

Everyone accepted her apology and hugged her. After sorting thing everyone settled down.

Mukti: Manik now you only feed her from last 1 hr everyone is trying to make her eat something but she is stubborn to eat only when you feed her.

Manik: Nandini and her tantrums are never going to end. Chalo first lets eat food.

They all went and settled down on their chair and started eating. Suddenly Nandini remembered about the trip they were talking about in the morning.

Nandini: What about the trip you all were talking about in the morning?

Abhi: Didn't someone say (mimicking her) "I dont want to go" so we cancelled it.

Nandini: WHATTTT!!!!! Cancelled? But I wanted to go.

Alia: You denied at first so we thought to cancel the trip and now we scheduled over work accordingly so now we all are busy.

Nandini got sad after listening this while others were enjoying teasing her.

Manik: Guys enough dont tease my bacha. Don't worry trip is still on.

Nandini: Really? (he nodded) You all are very bad. You all teased me. Nandu is angry with you all.

Saying this she turned her face to opposite direction.

Navya: Are you sure? (she just ignored them) Cabir what about the chocolates we brought for Nandu today? And what about the cake I made?

Cabir: We will return all the chocolates to the shopkeeper and about the cake I am there na. I will finish all. Afterall how can I miss the chance to eat the cake made by you.

Nandini was listening to everything they were talking.

Nandini's POV

Aiyappa what should I do? Even I want to eat cake and chocolate but I am toh angry at them na. No No I should no melt so easily this time.... but what about my chocolates. Nandini you are a good girl na and even Dadda has thought me that we should forgive everyone. Ya I should also forgive them.

Nandini: I forgive you all. Dadda has thought me that good girls forgive everyone and I am a good girl na so I forgive you all. No need to give my chocolate and cake to anyone.

Everyone started laughing at her cuteness. Slowly things were falling back to its place and everyone was happy to see old cheerful Nandini back.

Nandini: By the way when are we going and where are we going this time?

Manik: We will go after 3 days as everyone has to finish up their work and for the place its a surprise for you.

Nandini: No surprise please tell me the place. I want to know the surprise.

Mukti: Nandu wait for 3 days then you will get to know where we will go.

Nandini: But-

Cabir: No buts surprise is surprise. You will love it.

Nandini: (pouts) Fine.

Alia: Aww dont make such cute faces I feel like eating you up. By the way we are going for shopping tomorrow do you want to join us.

Nandini: Yes of course I will also come.

Navya: Ok then tomorrow after completing our work we will go for shopping.

After that everyone completed their dinner and headed towards their room.

Manan's room

Nandini was lying in Manik's arms and drawing patterns on his chest then all of sudden Nandini said

Nandini: I was scared whenever he used to lock me in that storeroom. I used to cry for hours. I always wished that you will come to rescue me from that monster. When I tried to defend myself he beat me. I kept telling him to stop but he din't. When I opened my eyes I wanted to see you to hold me tight and say that you will never leave me. I am sorry that I didn't share with you but I was scared to loose you all. I can't loose anyone of you. I am sorry. I love you.

Manik was happy that she shared her thoughts that were going in her mind all this time.

Manik: It's ok bacha I am not angry at you. Always remember we all with you forever.

Nandini: Dadda I don't want to go to school.

Manik: Dont worry baby you will not to school from now we will teach you. After we come back from trip you will start you studies.

Nandini: Really? (he nodded) Thank you soooooo much.

She pecked his cheeks.

Manik: Chalo now its too late. We should sleep now.

They both slept and like that the day ended on a good note.
