1. Remy's appearance is based entirely on a fan art of Levi Ackerman I saw.

2. Remy was the hardest character I've ever had to write for because he is some what of an unreliable narrator

3. I was planning to write the story of Vincent (Cecil's brother) and Jamie before this. Vincent was largely based off of Victor for YOI, which is how Cecil ended up with silver hair

4. My favorite character is Sydney

5. Remy and Collier (from You Can't Choose) are meant to be the sort of anthesis of one another. Collier is all golden hues and he's loud and happy, while Remy has darker features and is quiet and unhappy (until the end, of course). This is empathized in the fact that Cole loves the Ocean, while Remy loves the sky

6. They were originally going to break up half way through the novel because Remy was unable to express his emotions and couldn't tell Cecil that he loved him

7. I was planning on writing an extra, fun chapter with the two of them over Christmas (because Remy is loosely based off of Levi, who has a birthday on Christmas, and Cecil is loosely based off of Victor, who also has a birthday on Christmas). This extra was going to feature the quote, "I swear to god, Clarke, if you buy us one more pair of couple shirts I'm going to break up with you".

8. Beckett's appearance is greatly influenced by fan art of Eren Jeager

9. Sydney is purposely kind of two faced concerning Cecil and Remy. He's trying to always be positive and encouraging with Remy, while trying to be cautious with Cecil

10. I have a brief story plot planned for a book on Beckett but who really knows if that's going to ever get finished
