"Congradulations, Your Majesty. Another Şehzade was born." midwife said as she gave my newborn baby to Ahmed in his hands.

I couldn't believe I again gifted Ahmed with beautiful son, a lion.

Whole Harem gathered in front of the doors of infirmary. Ahmed came inside looking at me proudly and happily. He came and took our son into his hands.

"Mahnaz, another son. I can't explain to you how happy man you make me always. I am so glad to meet our little one finally." Ahmed said as he held our son in his arms.

I could see Handan and Mahfiruz are entering my chambers. Handam seemed really happy for me, while Mahfiruz didn't feel really comfortable here as she knew I have another son.

" Your name will be Murad. You will be named after my grandfather, a magnificent ruler. One day my Murad might also be magnificent ruler as his grandfather was." Ahmed said kissing Murad's forehead.

I could see Mahfiruz was jealous at the mention of Murad's possibility to become Sultan, even though I still wasn't even thinking about that while I had my Ahmed by my side.

A month has passed since I gave birth to my beautiful lion cub Murad. His siblings Mehmed and Gevherhan were so excited to meet him.

Kalika and Aybige were with me for the whole time. They helped me with my children a lot and honestly I have no idea what I would have done without them.

" Sultana, Sultan Ahmed wants to see you immediatley." Aybige said as she entered my chambers.

" Is it something serious?" I asked as I was concerned when she said it needs to be immediatley.

" I have no idea, only thing I know is that he is in his chambers with Valide Handan Sultan." Aybige said and I knew I had reason for concern.

If Handan realised only now that I gave her empty paper, I knew that she would tell everything to Ahmed.

" Sultana, you should take the original letter with you. Who knows what is Handan Sultan ready to do." Kalika said and gave me the letter Dervis wrote to Handan.

I came inside Ahmed's chambers pretending that I have no idea what is happening right now. I knew I should act properly this time and save myself, because if they would find out I killed Kosem, I would be punished. I would be banished and separated from my children.

I bowed to both Ahmed and Handan who looked at me angrily and I could feel their negative energy since I came inside the room. And they had obvious reason for that, but I couldn't let myself in trouble.

"Hunkarin, you wanted to see me." I said to him and smiled, but he hasn't returned smile.

" I heard something from my mother, and I would like to hear the story from you. To see what really happened." Ahmed said and looked at me seriously.

" What is it about, Hunkarim?" I asked him trying to act confused this time. I really knew how to act well, but this time I was scared for my life for real.

" It's about murdering my favourite Kosem Hatun. When the accident happened, my mother blamed Fülane Hatun who was once on havlet with me. We sent her to the Old Palace. But now I hear different story." Ahmed said and looked at me seriously.

" What another story?" I asked him acting even more confused now. Handan just took a deep breath and looked at me angrily.

" Don't act stupid Mahnaz, Sultan knows everything." Handan raised her voice on me and I looked at them confusedly.

"I have no idea what you are talking about." I said and Ahmed looked at me, then at Handan.

" My Valide said to me you killed Kosem. Is that true, Mahnaz?" Ahmed asked me seriously as he came in front of me and he was so close to me. I felt so wrong because with my lies I will destroy another person now, but I had protect myself.

"Hunkarim, why would I do something like this? Why would I ever dare to even raise my hand on someone you love?" I said to him as tears filled my eyes.

" She was my favourite, this is a valid reason that you were jealous and did it." Ahmed said coldly to me and I continued to cry on purpose even more.

" I can't believe you think I am like this and that I would dare to do something like this to someone you love. I would never kill even my worst enemy. Kosem has never done anything wrong to me. Why would I do it?" I said slowly to Ahmed as I was crying and I saw he is really confused now.

" Stop lying, Mahnaz! I found your earring there, but you have stolen it from me." Handan raised her tone on me, but Ahmed signalised her with his hand to stop.

" Look at me in the eyes, Mahnaz. Have you done it?" Ahmed said and lifted my chin to look at his eyes which looked at me in so cold and serious way.

" I haven't done it. And I would never do something like this." I said to him seriously.

" Valide, then why do you accuse her? Do you have any proofs she has done it?" Ahmed turned to his mother who looked shocked at both of us.

" She is lying to protect herself." Handan yelled and looked at me angrily.

" Then who killed Kosem? Mahnaz?" Ahmed asked as he was really upset anymore. He looked at me and I really had no idea if he trusts me now.

" Maybe you should your mother if she has done it." I said and I had to defend myself. I was sorry for blaming another person, but when Handan did this I would return to her.

" What are you talking about?" Both Handan and Ahmed looked at me shockedly. Ahmed couldn't believe when I mentioned his mother.

" Kosem knew secret of your mother. She could have done it before I would. I had no problems with Kosem, but your mother obviously had." I said to him seriously and Ahmed looked at me in distrust.

" What secret?" Ahmed asked me. I just took deep breath and gave him letter.

" Your mother was in secret relationship with your grand vizier, Derviş Paşa." I said to him and I could see Ahmed is becoming angry while he was reading the letter.

Handan looked at me and she seemed like she will faint any moment how pale she was right now. She looked at Ahmed and tried to tell him how this is not the true, but it had Derviş' seal on it.

" Valide! How dare you?" Ahmed yelled on Handan as he threw the letter away.
