Callistas pov:

When alex , me golge and abdul pasha went to the camp there were a lot of boys there but i didn't care i was looking at golges arm which was heavily bleeding , great now i feel more guilty unlike abdul pasha Golge is very civil towards me and isn't violent like pasha so i felt more sorry for her , i volunteered to clean her wound , i just needed a type of bandage so i tore the clean ends of my white dress and wrapped up her wounds when i looked back i saw Alex looking at me but he immediately looked down when i saw him , i owe him my life without him i wouldn't be breathing by now , which reminds me I haven't even properly thanked him how rude of me . I stood up and looked at my hands then at Alex , he got the hint and got some water to wash my hands , he's a really nice boy when he got towards me i said : " i haven't properly thanked you for saving me i owe you my life Alex , thank you again" he replied with a smile: " it's alright don't worry about it"  , i quickly looked at golge who was eating some food i quietly leaned towards Alex him doing the same knowing i have something important to say i whispered : " how far is the greek island" before he could reply abdul pasha came towards me with long strides grabbed me by my hair and said venomously : " because of you we lost all of our pashas i can just suffocate you now" i was very scared because he has a knife he lifted up his arm to slap me , i closed my eyes for ready for the impact but golge grabbed his arm strongly and shook her head almost threateningly , abdul pasha was shocked and i forcefully took his hand out of my hair and looked at him with a hateful look , everyone was watching us and knowing he can't make a scene he went away but before doing that he turned to Alexander and asked : " who are you boy and what's your name you were a Great fighter out there" , to which alex replied " my name is Alexander pasha" abdul pasha then turned to the janissari captain saying : " he will be a great soldier in the future " the janissari man then said " Inshallah pasha" i dont know what that means , i then went to golge and waited for the carriage so we could go to the palace .

Sultan Ahmed s pov:
When i came in my room mother was already standing there and i knew why before she could speak i said : " if this is about me not beheading my brother than you can leave ." But mother is just as stubborn as i am so she replied : " it actually is Ahmed ,you know perfectly well that Halime Sultan is a witch she will do anything to put her son on the thorne " i signalized her to stop and she did i them replied to her : " i know what I'm doing validem i am the sultan now and Mustafa is only five years old and i do not have a heart of ice to kill him and as for Halime Sultan being a witch i really couldn't care less because what is to happen will happen by my Allah's permission now if you'll excuse me i have some states job to do " she went away and a few hours later somebody knocked on the door " come in " a guard came and informed me that safiye sultan is here i gave him the permission to let her in , she came in and bowed then said : " congratulations my ahmed you have done a great thing by not killing him I'm so proud of you" to which i replied : " it's and honor really sultana , i just dont want to be a cruel and heartless sultan , i just want to be fair and kind" , she was silent for a few seconds then she put a hand on my shoulder and said i a motherly tone : " Ahmed one thing that i know is that you will be a fair sultan and everyone will bow to you not because they have to but because they will all respect you and love , and your first great choice is by not killing your brother " , she then looked behind me and i followed her gaze to see she is looking at the portrait of Callista which instantly brought a smile on my face , she noticing this said : " dont you think that i forgot you gift , she is coming from the other side of the world just for you Ahmed" , which made me excited knowing that i would get to meet her in person now . After safiye sultana left i ordered the guards to make dinner and that mustafa will be joining me .

Meanwhile

Third person pov: 

Meanwhile callista was washing her face to get rid of the dirt when Alexander came and pretended to fill his water goblet and whispered to her : " they are going to take you in the harem for the sultan and serve him " at hearing this callista softy gasped to not get anyone's attention she whispered : " tell me your lying alex" , Alexander then replied "Andrew" , callista got confused and asked "what?" Alex then repeated again : "my name isn't Alexander my name is Andrew " , "Oh" callista replied , alex slightly laughed at her reaction thinking it was adorable , she then continued " tell me the real reason why you're here Alexander or Andrew or whoever you are " , alex or andrew then replied : " its a long story" , callista then got slightly annoyed and said : " god you're so stubborn don't you understand i don't have time " Andrew then asked : " why don't you run away the?" To which callista replied : " you already so how that turned out people got killed because of me golge got injured and if you weren't there to save me i would also be dead" Andrew then said : " i will help you , the janissari camp will go to istanbul for the training i promise you I'll find you !" Callista thought about it , because as much as that offer was tempting she didn't want to put alex in danger because of her, so she then reluctantly said : " you aren't going to be in more danger because of me so don't do that Alex" but alex was having none of it so he then told her something that nobody knew except for him he very quietly said : " callista you have been forcefully taken here and I'm here to find my family so i will come for you and get you out of that hell hole " , callista was about to ask about his family but then abdul pasha came and told her angrily we're leaving go help golge and get in the carriage ,. Callista then turned aroun and helped golge but and then looked at alex who nodded and she nodded back at him both making a promise to each other that callista will wait for him and not lose hope and alex will find callista and not lose hope just as they were about to get in the carriage Callista said to abdul pasha nicely : " can please get in a minute i want to say goodbye to alex for helping me i swear I won't go anywhere " to which abdul pasha agreed reluctantly because he knew she wont go anywhere they all got into the carriage waiting for callista , Callista turned around ran to alex and handed him a simple ring saying : " when you look at this ring remember me , remember the girl who you met and get me out of there if you can't then don't risk your life for me alex and thank you again i will never forget about you " alex was about to reply but callie tightly hugged him and he hugged her back just as tightly and then she turned around and went inside the carriage both of them somehow knowing that their paths might cross again . When the carriage was out of site alex remembered how callie hugged him and then looked at the ring knowing he would do anything for her.

The carriage was now on the bridge of the ottoman castle , there were fireworks in the sky and Callista opened her curtain and saw how beautiful the fireworks were , meanwhile Sultan Ahmed and his brother Mustafa were also watching the fireworks happily , when the carriage stopped callista got down with the help of golge and two big curtain types of Shields were put so one can see the women of the palace . When callista and golge got inside the palace golge directed callista to come in a room where there was a guard waiting for them , when they stopped callista quietly asked golge: " golge please help me , I don't want to be a slave in this harem golge please" , golges heart broke for the young and innocent girl but she couldn't do anything and Callista knew that , just then a women came out of the door measuring callista and then grabbing her by her forearm tightly she dragged callista in there ware two more agha's in there one was bulbul agha who seemed soft yet strict to callista and then the other whose name was reyhan Agha looked purely evil and scary to callista and then the woman who grabbed her name Jennet kalfa  , cennet or jennet kalfa was touching callista trying to see if she was alright there was no doubt that callista was a beautiful girl and for a second bulbul jennet and reyhan agha were shocked to see such a beautiful girl , obviously there were a lot of girls in the harem but callista had something that drew people in , when all of them got over their shock bulbul agha said : " this is the girl safiye sultan chose for sultan Ahmed i must say sultana has a great taste jennet give this beautiful girl a name and take her to her room " jennet looked at the girl thinking of a name , she knew the gurl was unique but jennet couldn't think of a unique name so she said " Khadija " , callista got mad mad and shouted : " I'm not Khadija im callista and what is this place where am i ?" To this reyhan agha stood up and slowly and intimidatingly walked towards her and said in a low whisper : " this is the ottoman palace hatun , this palace can be you heaven but also your hell , here either you can live and rule the harem or you die like a filthy reject" he was scaring callista a lot sensing this bulbul agha felt bad for her so he ordered jennet : " jennet hatun take the girl to a separate room and make her presentable for Safiye sultan " jennet grabbed Callista and dragged her to a room all the while callista yelling: " leave me alone woman, take your filthy hands off of me woman, let go of me " jennet ignored all of it and threw callista in a room . Callista started banging on the door and windows shouting for jennet to let her out but no avail so callista threw all the tables and dishes everywhere breathing heavily and at a loss of energy , callista started crying and fell to the nearby bed  and fell asleep for  awhile until jennet came into the room to give callista food callista got up and attacked jennet throwing the food and scratching her face jennet finally got her off herself and hit callista by a black belt it hurt a lot , when callista finally fell and couldn't fight anymore jennet grabbed her face roughly and said in a threatening tone : " see my face clearly girl and memorize it in your brain i am jennet but if needed i can be jahanim meaning hell " jennet then left her alone callista then went back on the bed crying and remembering her father thinking of the time he told her that she will be the princess of the island so that night callista went crying to sleep . Meanwhile in Sultan Ahmed Hans room ahmed was crying in his mothers embrace repeating only one thing to his mother " I can't do it , I can't do it valida" , so that same night two unknown lovers went to sleep crying .
