The Sun was hiding behind the thick winter clouds, the forest was very silent with some cold breezes blowing. The trees and some parts of the road were also covered with Snow, Fog could be seen with a short distance and then Suddenly an Eagle flew from the south making the noises eagles usually make indicating that someone from the Royal Dynasty, Someone from the Capital is heading towards the north where Shehzade Orhan's Sanjak/Province is located which is Amasya.

"How will we tell him the situation?" asked Bulbul. "You don't worry bulbul!" replied Kader Sultan. "But Sultana!".
"shush!" angered Kader Sultan.

"Don't you feel that winters are colder than before!?" firmly asked Shehzade Orhan.
"Hmm a bit!" replied Katerina hatun with a beautiful smile.
They both were sitting next to each other holding each other's hands in the Royal garden outside the palace.

Shehzade Orhan was wearing his casual dress which usually shehzade wore at that time. A Kalpak on the head and a beautiful bluish Kaftan with white fury lines and white embroidery with black çizme/type of boots on the foot.
Katerina was wearing a beautiful dress which was also called a Kaftan (Lady's Kaftan)with beautiful floral embroidery on the whole dress and a shiny elongated clip on the side of her silky brown hairs.

"Hey! Royalties are coming! Open the door! Open the door! Our Sultana is here! Royalties from the Capital!"Informed the tower man!
The head gatekeeper had understood and left the gate open and the Royal cart got in.

"*There are many categories in Royal Carts they are designed differently for Sultan's and for Sultana's although Sultan's don't travel in the carts*".

Shehzade Orhan suddenly saw those Royal carts coming and then told Katerina to come with him.
"I hope everything is okay!" muttered Katerina Hatun and followed Shehzade Orhan.

(The Main Gate through which the cart entered was in the middle and the path to Palace gate was straight and had different flowers accompanying the route)

(Katerina was a concubine in the harem, Shehzade Orhan fell in love with her when she was sent to entertain him, afterward, she was gifted with gold coins and some pieces of jewelry and respected by other concubines as everyone started to call her as hatun)

When the Royal Cart stopped near the palace, Bulbul Agha came out and held his hand to Kader Sultan so she could firmly come out from the Cart. When she moved forward to the door of the cart, the fragrances from her dress scattered making everyone surprised then slowly and gradually everyone gathered to bow down to show respect.

Kader's white skin shined as she took off her half hoodie gown and firmly made it to the rough ground, her dress was absolutely gorgeous, the deep green color of the dress was perfect with some pearls on the chest area and some lined from the shoulders to half of the sleeves! And velvet fall on the bottom, she was wearing a huge crown with layers of emeralds at the bottom then diamonds on the top, with pearls at the side of the diamonds!

"Kader Sultan Hazretleri!" declared openly Bulbul as it is a tradition. (Hazretleri is used to remind or announce to people that the specific royalty person is in their presence)

Shehzade Orhan came near her followed by Katerina hatun and bowed, Orhan got closer and kissed her hand and hugged her!

"My beautiful Mother!" smiled Orhan.
"Oh! My Son!" smiled Kader Sultan.

"My Sultana!" greeted Gulbahar Hatun, Kader then smiled on her and asked, "how are you, Katerina?".
"Oh, My Sultana! I got much better as I saw you! I hope you are good too!" smiled Katerina.
"I'm going to be much better!" sighed Kader Sultan.
"Come on! Let's go inside!" invited Orhan.

They went inside the palace and headed towards Shehzade Orhan's room through the Harem where all concubine were waiting to greet Kader Sultan as the news had been spread like a blow of strong wind.
When she arrived they bowed down to show respect,
"MySultana!" greeted Fidan Kalfa the chief treasurer of the harem.
Kader Sultan smiled and then she and the prince walked through the passage which led to Shehzade's room.
Katerina stayed back in the harem.

(Shehzades room was big and had a beautiful big bed in front of the entrance with large space in between and had a cotton bedsheet which had some works of pure silver with many small cushion and very light curtains around the bed and four big candle stand on the sides of the bed and a small table on the very left side near the bed with windows on right and left side and a sitting area on the right side which had big tall windows with curtains hanging across one side to another than on the left was a big bookshelf and a long writing pad made of wood near it with a soft large cushion in front of it on the beautiful carpeted floor and Two chairs near the corner where second series of sofas were lined with cotton covers and small floral work of gold on the cushions as well as the room was filled with candles like everywhere but placed beautifully on their place!)

Kader Sultan and Shehzade Orhan were sitting on the corner of the room where sofas were lined.

"So, Mother what made you come here?" asked Shehzade Orhan.
"Well My Son! Can't I visit you whenever I want?" asked Kader Sultan.
"Oh, Mother! Yes, you can! But there would be an absolute other reason that you have come without informing! See your room would be ready if you informed me!" replied Orhan.

"Orhan!" said Kader firmly holding his hand. "What? Mother?" worried Orhan.

"Our Hope! Our necessity! Our life! Our Sultan! Your father, Sultan Hemza Han is seriously ill!" cried Kader Sultan.

"What? What are you saying? It cannot be!"

"How did it happen?" panicked  Orhan and got in a shock as Kader said "its an unknown disease, doctors have tried everything but it keeps getting worse,
I don't know what is happening to him Orhan!".

Shehzade Orhan felt deep pain and was also disappointed:

"Mother! You should've stayed there and could have written a letter. We would've been together now!" disappointed Orhan.

"Son! He is ill for months! There are many enemies out there! The letter could've been exposed and I don't want it to happen!"
said Kader Sultan.

"So we should go there then!" said Orhan.

"I came here to inform you! To tell you if anything happens I will send Bulbul and he'll get you to the capital safely.
I have mourned for very long and praying every second but now it's a necessity to tell you now" said Kader Sultan.
She got up from the sofa and walked to the door.
