(Astrea's father)

The massive mansion looks empty and so does our heart since my princess was kidnapped.
She was our joy and without her, our lives are void of any happiness.

I remember the first time I got to know that Maia is carrying a girl. I was ecstatic.
When she opened her eyes and held my finger with her little hand for the first time, The feeling of protectiveness for the little bundle of joy hit me full force. She stole my heart with one look at her big doe eyes and her cute little smile and it hadn't been mine since.

I remember how she used to give me those puppy dog eyes whenever maia would try to make her eat veggies.
How she used to complain to me when apollo would steal her cookies and watch me scold him with a smirk on her lips.
How she used to hide in my arms after pranking Ares knowing I would protect her from his anger.

The first time I saw her with Nikolai, I wanted to separate them but I saw how he looked at her and it was like she was his whole world. And that's why I signed the contract. I knew he can give her the love and care she deserved.
She was my princess but he would have treated her like his queen.

I know it wasn't his fault but I was hurt and I just needed someone to blame. I know he would do anything for her.
He might even be the only person who loves her more than I do.

"Father" Ares said entering my office after knocking.

I saw tears in his eyes. Tears I hadn't seen in my sons eyes since she left us.

"What happened?" I questioned sensing the gravity of the situation.
Instead of answering my question he showed me his phone and what I saw shocked me.

One look at the girls eyes and I knew who she was.

Astrea. My princess.

She looks just like me with a hint of Maia.
She looks so grown up and it reminds me of how much I have missed.

"A paparazzi captured this image and we managed to get hold of this before Nikolai's PR team removed it from everywhere" Ares said, his voice heavy with emotions
"He found her dad. We will finally have her back." He said smiling from happiness that matches mine.

"Give the news to your mother and brother. I will talk to nikolai." I said before picking my phone ready to call the bastard I chose as my son in law.

"Nikolai" I greeted as soon as he picked up.
"Father-in-law" the smug bastard greeted me.
He thinks it's funny to call me that to aggravate me making me regret my decision.

Deciding to ignore his greeting I asked "when were you going to tell me that you found my daughter?"

"I just found her yesterday and the circumstances weren't the best" he said, his voice turning serious.

"Whatever do you mean?" I asked

"She doesn't remember anything. Not you, not me, not her mother or brothers. The only family she know is the one that took her in." He said and my heart shattered and bile rises up my throat.

"How did this happen?" I asked my voice turning heavy
"She was tortured Ajax for two years. A  hit to her head pressed a nerve in her brain" he said his voice cracking making me smash the glass in my hand in the wall.

She was innocent. Why did god make the innocent ones suffer. Her only fault was that she made us love her and they made her pay for that. How is it fair.

"who?"
"I don't know but I believe that you and I can together find them and make them pay" he said in a voice as deadly as mine
"Yes. They will pay. In the worst ways possible" I agreed
They will regret the day they were born when I find them.

"You need to understand tgat Her memories are dangerous. It's better if she forgets everything. Just give me some time. I promise I will bring her back to you"  he said and even though I may not say it but I trust him with Astrea

"Alright Nikolai . I am giving you a second chance Don't make me regret it" I said hanging up my phone before smashing it across the room.
