Astrea's pov

It was a long drive to the college with the thoughts of the stranger from the cafe haunting my mind. I wonder how he knew me. He felt familiar. Like I have met him before.
But I think I would definitely remember meeting someone like him.

"Astrea!" the over energetic voice of Daniel greeted me as soon as I exited my car breaking my line of thoughts.

Daniel along with his twin sister Diana had been my best friend since I started college and I am thankful to have them. They had been my support through everything that happened.

However I am closer to daniel, I love both of them to pieces. When I lost my parents they became my shoulder to cry on and if not for them and Ryan, I don't know what I would have done.

"We are going to a club tonight" said Diana.
I think they sometimes forget that I am still underage. They are both a year older than me making them 21.

"If you forgot, I am still 20"
"I will take care of it. Dad gave us VIP passes of this new club and I heard the club is lit" said Diana in a high pitched voice that hurts my ears but I held back my grimace.

"Ok fine" I said knowing I can never win from them.
"we can going shopping after college to get us a new dress and get ready in our house afterwards" she squealed excitedly
"Sounds good"

We are now at their mansion getting ready.
They comes from a wealthy family just like me hence the mansion.

Right now Diana is smoldering my face with makeup. I sometimes wonder that why she chose to become a lawyer rather than a fashion designer considering her love for fashion and makeup.
Coincidentally both the twins wanted to pursue law and I am grateful since I wouldn't have gotten such great friends otherwise.

Earlier we went to mall and brought our dress and shoes And as much as I love shopping, I am tired right now.

After two hours of dressing up, complimenting each other and the ride to the club with the twins terrible singing giving me a headache, we are now trying to get me into the club. Or should I say that Diana is trying to seduce the bouncer into letting me in. It's when she whispered something into his ear that I definitely don't want to know that he let us in. But we have to go through a metal detector making me think that there is someone important in the club.

We walked in the club with our arms hooked.
I am greeted with the smell of alcohol , sweat and cigarettes as soon as we enter the vip area of the club causing me to scrunch my nose at the smell.
However the club still got a pleasant feel with sparkling lights, blaring music and people dancing. I even recognized some businessmen and celebrities sitting in the booths.

"Three shots of tequila" Daniel ordered causing my eyes to widen.

The bartender slid three shots of tequila infront of us. I had never had tequila before, just some wine or champagne at events.

I hesitantly took one of the glass and gulped it down in one shot causing the twins to cheer and gulp down their own drinks. The cold liquid left a bitter taste in my mouth but a pleasant feeling in my body.

"come on let's dance" Diana shouted taking our arms and dragging us to the dance floor.
We danced for a while and I could feel a couple of eyes on us but decided to ignore them and loosen up a bit .

I decided to sit for a while and ordered myself a drink since I am now tired . Diana left with the bouncer from before. She is a wild child and I love that about her. Daniel of course made sure that she is safe before letting her go. He is not overprotective of his sister but still takes care of her safety.

He is now sitting beside me ordering himself another drink as well when I heard the buzzing of his phone.

"Oh shit! It's Ryan" he said worried
I forgot to mention that Daniel is gay and currently dating my older brother. If he finds out that we are at a club we are going to be in trouble. especially me. For some reason he is too overprotective of me.

" You need to get somewhere silent and answer the call. He is gonna kill us both if he finds out that you took me to a club"
"No way! I am not leaving you alone here especially when you are drunk."
"I will be alright. GO!" I insisted
After finally convincing, him he agreed and left to take the call.

I took a large sip of my drink and grimaced at the taste. It tastes a little weird. I inspected the glass and my heartbeat spiked when I saw some white specks floating in the drink giving me a impression that someone spiked it.

Shit! I need to get away from here as soon as possible.

I quickly stood up and ran to the bathroom with great difficulty, the movement making me dizzy and my head pound and tried to call Daniel but before I could dial him the phone slipped out of my hand. My head started spinning and throbbing harder.

I heard someone enter the bathroom and fear creeps up my spine.
I felt two rough hands picked me up and started touching me. I can feel him kissing my neck and I feel disgusted .
I can feel the hands moving under my clothes and I tried to stop him but I am too weak right now.
My heart beat quickened and I can feel myself struggling to breath.

I can feel myself kicking and speaking something but I felt out of control of my body. I try to get away but my efforts are futile.

I was just starting to give up hope when the bathroom door slammed open and the man was ripped of me. The next few minutes were a blur with my saviour beating up the disgusting monster of a man. I tried to keep my eyes open but they felt too heavy.

Before I can lose consciousness my eyes meet the silver ones that have been engraved in my mind since morning.
"Astrea! Don't close your eyes love" I heard the husky voice of the stranger just before I felt myself succumbing to the darkness.
