Astrea's pov

I woke up with a gasp. The back of my head hurts from hitting it against the wall. The memories rushed through my head like a reel causing my chest to tighten and my mind to explode. I looked around frantically, scared out of my mind Before settling on the figure right beside me.

"Relax baby you are okay" he whispered in my ear. Tears wells up in my eyes. The memories were too horrible for me to digest. Some were too sweet overwhelming me. I slightly back up when he touches my back causing an expression of pain to appear on his face.

A gut-wrenching sob leaves my mouth and Nico didn't waste a second before taking me in his arms. "Shh love. I am here. I am always here" he whispered sweet nothings in my ear as I just cried. I cried for all I lost. My family, my innocence, Nico, my happiness. Everything the world took from me and Nico just let me cry till there are no tears left in me.

A glass of water appeared against my lips and I drank greedily. The water soothed my soaring throat.
"What happened baby?" He asked gently wiping my cheeks with his thumbs.
"I remember" I muttered hoarsely and his figure turned rigid beside me.

"What do you remember?" He asked after taking my words in
"Everything Nico" I whispered
"Oh baby" he whispered gently hugging me to his chest for what felt like forever.

"I am broken, Nico. They broke me" I suddenly let out as he is rubbing my back
"You are not" he denied
"I am. They took everything from me. They....god they did horrible things to me"

"I know love. I know and they will pay for it. I will make sure of it" he answered determinedly "and if you are broken then I will love every broken piece of you till I can piece them all with my love" he said kissing my forehead

"You will hate me after you know what I did" I sighed
"Nothing you did can make me hate you," he said like it is the only thing in this world he is sure about

"I killed your mother" my confession is met with silence and him turning rigid  and I rushed out to explain myself "they made me do it. They said they will let me go if I did it and they were gonna kill her anyway. I also didn't like that she hurt you. He would have punished me if I didn't" a kiss in the lips stopped me

"Relax baby I am not mad," he said
"Listen to me. She was nothing Astrea you on the other hand is everything and I am proud that you were willing to do it to save yourself" he said and my heart felt warm. Taking his hand in mine I traced the band tatooed on his ring finger that I never understood and never had the heart to ask of until my memories came back. He was bound to me even though I wasn't near him.

"I love you" I breathed out because I do. I love him so much. He is my salvation in this world. My everything

"Say it again," he said with an excited grin on his face making me smile for the first time in hours.
"I love you Nico. So much" I said squeezing his hand
"I love you too" he said capturing my lips in a sweet kiss expressing everything to me

"Can I ask you for something?" I asked after pulling away
"Anything love" he replied hesitation

"I want them to suffer. I want them to die painfully" I said looking straight into his eyes so that he can see the fire they contains
"Come with me" he said instead of answering me and he helps me get of the bed. I noticed that we are still in the warehouse as I looked around.

He guides me through the hallway towards his office
"What are you doing?" I asked after stabilizing myself a bit
"I want to show you something" he said opening his office door and settling me on his desk before going towards the corner and pulling a pin board that was turned around before he turned it towards me and my breath hitches.

There in the board are photos of twenty people who I recognized as my tormenters. I noticed eleven of them have red cross on their face. My heart goes array as I stared at their faces. My breathing picks up Before a hand on my thigh makes me look away from it and into Nico's eyes.

Nico pulls out a marker from his desk before crossing the twelth face who I recognized as the man who I killed today. Everything clicks in my mind.

"You killed them" I stated
"I killed nine of them. Two of them were killed by your family" he said before a proud smile overtook his face "and one of them was killed by you."

"Only you would be proud of your girlfriend killing someone" I tried to joke laughing fakely after that
"I am damn proud of you for defeating your demons" he said and my love for him just intensified

"I will kill the remaining ones too. For you I would do anything" he sweared
"You can tell them to go to hell and your lover here will show them the directions. I will burn each of them alive. I promise Astrea"
