Theodor's POV

"What the fu*k did you just say?" I yelled.
"They know about her." Andres said.
"They are fu*king targeting m— Martina?" I restrained myself for saying mine. She wasn't mine. Yet.

"They have been following her this whole time. And we didn't even have clue about." Andres said, sitting down on the chair.
"Why do they even follow her? We have no connections aside the job." I said. I was frustrated and angry.

"They saw you outside the company obviously, so they thought you're dating or something." A park. A fu*king park.
"I will make her safe. She can't get hurt." I said.
"Why do you care if she is nothing to you?" He asked, smirking. Does he really think it's time for a joke?

"Because she is innocent. Why would innocent person get hurt?" I said. There are two reasons why I don't want her to get hurt. First are my personal reasons and second are rational reasons. She is innocent and I would feel really guilty if something happens to her because of me.

"I need to keep her safe. I will give her bodyguard who will follow her everywhere and make sure she is fine." I said and dialled the number of the best fighter I have and told him to start observing Martina, but from afar. I have to know that she is safe.

I will personally kill Anton if he does something to her. But for now, I'll just keep an eye on her and make her safe. There is no way I would let her to get hurt.

I got out of our warehouse and headed to my company. My emotions all over the place, but I couldn't deny one, no matter how much I wanted to. Fear.

I parked at my usual place and entered the building. I immediately went to my floor. I was eager to see her. I quickly got out, just when the door opened.

I was breathless when I saw her. She was in a black pencil skirt and white button up shirt. But her clothes were tight. And they really showed her curves. Really nice curves, actually.

''Mr. Hall? Are you okay?'' She said. She was already in front of me looking confused. She was adorable with her big eyes and pouty lips. I wanted to snatch her and leave where nobody can have her. She was too perfect for this world, even for me too.

''I'm fine. I just remembered that I need to send some emails.'' I lied and proceeded to go in my office. Fu*k! I can't fix my problem now and it hurts. I guess I'll have to suffer.

I never complained about anything in my life, but God knows how much I hate doing paperwork. Speaking of God, I have to go to church today. Most people who really know me, will think why is mafia boss going to church?

Well, I do go to church. My family was always religious, even when they died and Boss took me in, I went to church. I can find my peace there somehow.

I found another place where I can find my peace. Martina's embrace. When I was wrapped in her arms, like a little child, I felt protected. I felt like she was shielding me from all the bad things I experienced.

I heard a knock on the door and Martina entered my office. The way she walked, completely threw me off guard.  She wasn't swaying her hips like all the secretarys do in my company just to impress me, but they don't know that I find them looking like ducks. She was so delicate, should I say?

''Mr. Hall, I sent contract to Mr. Conor.''
''Good. Please give these papers to Mellisa. She will know what to do with it.'' I said and handed her small pile of papers.
''Do you need anything else?'' She asked.
''Nothing. Thank you.''

After she got out, I sighed in my chair. Why do I feel like a kid when it has an exam? Terribly nervous. If I ever admit my feelings, will she want me?

I know how old I am and I'm afraid that she wouldn't want me because of my age. We're fourteen years apart. But I want her because of her and I don't care about our age. I'm genuinely confused.

I entered the church and made a sign of a cross. I sat in the front of a church. Church was empty, leaving me a lot of time for myself.

I started praying when I heard the main door opening. I ignored the person and continued my prayers. It felt so good to pray. I let all of my worries to God and he helps me.

The person sat next to me. I looked at the person and saw Martina. She smiled at me and waved me a little.
''I didn't expect you in here.'' I said.
''Me neither.'' She chuckled. Of course.

We were few moments in the silence. I couldn't stop, but observe her. Her cute little nose and her plump lips. I wish I can kiss her, just once. Her soft cheeks. They always get light red when she is embrassed about something.

''Do you want to have a drink in a cafe nearby?'' I asked her. She nodded her head and smiled. I want her to smile a lot because it really suits her. She is beautiful like that and she makes me smile too.

I'm falling for this girl hard and fast, and she is doing apsolutely nothing. What have I gotten myself into? I promised to myself few years ago that I won't have feelings for any woman, but Martina makes me change my mind.

We got up and left the church. I opened the door of my car for her. She thanked me before getting inside. I walked to my side and drove off to that cafe.

This is my favourite cafe. I'm really good with the owner too. Few years ago, he almost lost his cafe, but I bought it and helped him to get back how it used to be.

I entered the cafe and I was met with David, the owner's son. I picked him up and he gave me toothless smile.
''Uncle, I missed you.'' He squealed.
''Me too, young man. How is in school?''
''It's good. Girls are hot.'' He said, making me chuckle.

''That's my boy.'' I cheered. He giggled when his eyes landed on someone else.
''Is this your girlfriend, Uncle? She is so pretty.'' He said. I went red with this question and cleared my throat.
''No, David. She is not my girlfriend.'' I said.

I looked at Martina to see her red with embrassment.
''David, this is Martina. My coworker.'' I said and put him down. He shook her hand shyly. This kid is a real actor.
''Hello, David. You have pretty name.''
''You're hot too. I mean, pretty.'' He said, giving her fake smile.

Martina chuckled and looked at me with quirked eyebrow. Just then, Patricio appeared.
''David, mama was looking for you.'' He said. David immeditely ran off in the back of the cafe.

''Hey, Theo!'' He said and gave me quick hug.
''Hey, Patricio. I came to get some coffee. This is Martina.'' I introduced her. She shook his hand and smiled.
''Nice to meet you, Martina. You both can go and have a seat. I'll send Marcelo to take your orders.''

We went to sit and I didn't know how to start a conversation.
''I assume David learned all that from you.'' She smirked in amusement.
''You can say so.'' I said, chuckling nervously. Oh God, this is embrassing.

''He is really cute little boy. I'm glad he has someone like you.'' She said.
''Was that a compliment?'' I smirked.
''I guess so.'' She shrugged. Oh my God, she just complimented me. Could I ask for more?

I soon saw Marcelo approaching us. He looked at Martina like he saw a goddess. Jelaousy ignited in me right away.

''Close your mouth, boy, and take our orders.'' I said, harshly.
''Sorry, Boss. What would you like to drink?''
''Black coffee for me.''
''Iced coffee.'' Martina said. Did she just blushed because of Marcelo? I'm the only one who will make her blush.

''People in here are really kind. I like it here.'' She said.
''Right? They are the best.'' I confirmed. She smiled a bit. She is so beautiful. It's no wonder everybody stares at her. Every male actually. But how should I win her over?
