I was super happy that finally everything is gonna be alright between Adrian and me. I had to tell this good news to Sarah and ky. I ran downstairs and I saw them in the dinning room. Sarah was showing ky something on the phone while ky was sipping her juice.

These two really get along well.

"guys.....guess what happened" I shrieked.

"What's the matter Ara... Wait a sec let's finish watching this video" Sarah said in a bored tone.

"Nononono... You'll have to hear this." I said.

But then ky started laughing looking at the phone. Something hilarious must have happened in that video which  they were watching.

"Rewind it.....rewind it.....shit I missed it.... Ara it's all because of you" Sarah was literally screaming.

Huh?

This isn't fair.

"Wait.....I'll.... I'll rewind it." Ky said in between her laughter.

Don't these people even know that I'm standing here and waiting to tell them something important?

Gosh!

Why in earth did I introduce these two?

"Adrian confessed his love for me" I yelled so that they two could hear me.

Sarah almost dropped her phone and ky choked on her juice. Their reactions were priceless. Seeing them so shocked made me doubt on myself for a minute.

Wait did I say the right? 

I really said what I was planning on telling them right?

"What!!!" both of them screamed in unison. 

Okay I told the right thing.

"Yeah.....today.... Infact just now he told me he loves me and that he never wants to loose me" I said smiling at both of them.

Maybe blushing abit.

"Aww Ara that's so cute" Sarah said and gave me a hug.

Yah my bestie has accepted my boyfriend. What could be better than having your bestie be totally comfortable with your boyfriend. Thank god I don't have to choose anyone among them.

"I know.... I knew Adrian loved you but I didn't know he's gonna confess it so fast. " ky said while giving me a pat on my back.

Just as we were enjoying the moment my phone started buzzing. I saw my phone and realised that I had received a message from an unknown number.

You look so pretty when you are happy. Can't wait till I get my hands on you enjoy your short lived love story with Adrian. I see he has confessed he loves you. But the sad part is you won't be his for long. I'm coming to get you baby and oh yeah tell Adrian hi from my side.

This message surely freaked me out. Without saying a word I ran upstairs to Adrian's room leaving behind a shocked ky and Sarah. They must be wondering I'm mad since I ran off all of a sudden. They must be giggling by now thinking I was shy. But I have better reasons to run to Adrain for.

This was something important.

Without even knocking the door I went inside his room.
"Adrain..... Adrian...." I called out.

Then I saw him come out of the washroom.

"Can't get enough of me huh?" He said slyly.

God not now.

"This is not the time for joking" I said seriously.

"Oh really.... Baby please .....you enter my room. Call out to me and now you don't wanna have fun?" He asked smirking.

Can you shut up a bit.

It's not what your thinking.

"Shut up and see this" I said loosing my patience.

I shoved my phone in his hand and he read the message. His expression changed and I regretted showing him the message in such an abrupt way.

"what the hell.. How dare he.." Adrian growled.

It was confirmed that he is pissed off right now and nothing will make him calm. I put my hand on his shoulder hoping that atleast that could help. Maybe a bit. But no. He instead glared at me and I quickly removed my hand from his shoulder. I hate it when he's angry. He seems like a beast ready to destroy whoever comes his way.

"Babe.... Calm down.... It's OK" I said almost whispering.

What is wrong with me?

Why am I getting scared?

The once confident girl who was scared of none is now getting scared to talk.

Adrian if only you hadn't been angry I wouldn't have left you.

" are you crazy Ara... That guy has the nerves to text you... He's been keeping a watch over you and you tell me to calm down??? This is ridiculous Ara... I'm shocked that you are so calm about it when you are supposed to be freaking out and locking up yourself in a room." he said in an irritated tone.

Hello I'm not a scary cat to do that.

And FYI I trust my boyfriend.

"Adrian you are highly mistaken if you think I'm going to do that.... I'm not a scary cat to lock my self in a room and be scared of that stupid guy... Come on I've already been kidnapped once and I'm out alive... And for your information I wasn't scared at that time either... And now I'm definitely not scared because I have you god dammit... He too knows that he can't touch a hair on my body as long as you are with me... He's just making you take hasty decisions and I can see you are falling for it" I reasoned out my point.

I could see his expression change.

It softened.

Thank the good lord I could reduce his anger.

"What the hell are you made of... You are definitely not like the girls I've seen... You are so bold and sometime you make me get nervous seeing the trust you have in me." He said surprised.

Thank God he's not angry anymore.

"I have to be of some match. After all I'm the Mafia boss' girl" I said chuckling.

He too laughed and I was happy that the atmosphere grew light between us.

"If you don't mind can I have my phone... Before I piss you off and you throw it down in anger?" I asked biting the side of my bottom lip.

He laughed and gave me the phone.

"but don't think I'm gonna leave that Owen alone... He's gonna regret for what he did." He said in a stern voice.

"There's one thing I'm scared of " I said a bit hesitant.

"what's it babe? " Adrain asked with a raised eyebrow.

"well I'm scared of you when your angry" I said honestly.

At that moment I felt like a pathetic kid.

But he needs to know about this.

" you don't have to be scared of me Ara. I will never hurt you." he said in a soothing voice.

He removed his phone from the pocket and called up a guy named Elias. He gave certain orders like to track down Owen or something. At that time I thought it was best for me to leave because I was standing awkwardly not understanding what's going on between the two of them. I left the room and so did Adrian. So he's finally coming out of that room of his. He followed me downstairs while still on the phone. But as I came down my speed gradually became slow. Adrian looked at me confused. I saw ky but where was Sarah. I remember leaving both of them together when I left.

"Where's Sarah?" I asked in a suspicious tone.

"She gone home.... She waited for you to come. But since you were with Adrian she didn't want to disturb you'll.... had to go....she told it's getting dark and she had to reach home before it gets too late" ky replied.

I immediately caught hold of Adrian's hand and he stopped talking on the phone for moment. Of course he didn't notice Sarah was gone and he didn't hear what ky told me. I stared at the door and I could feel Adrian's and ky's worried eyes looking at me.

"What's the matter?" Adrian was the first to speak.

"Sarah has left. She's gone home. alone." I said panicked.

By the look on their face I could tell they didn't seem to understand me.

"Adrian. If Owen or his men were keeping an eye on this house...on us it's clear that they would have noted the people who were here and when I got the message I was with Sarah. What if they do...." I was cut in between by Adrian cursing.

"Shit... Shit... Why didn't I think of this before. I need to go and handle this. Ara you are brilliant. OK, stay here and be with ky. I know you are able to defend yourself and protect ky. Don't come out come what so ever. Stay in and switch off the lights.... Close the windows draw the curtains and lock the door. I'll be locking the door from outside too for double protection. I've kept men to guard our place. But Owen's men are clever they'll find a way to sneak in. If any emergency call me immediately. I'll have Lukas to find her and make sure she's alright and I'll look into other matters" he said hurriedly and I just nodded at every instruction of his.

He placed a kiss on my forehead and left the house.
