A/N: A few of you have mentioned you'd like to see what happens when Lily gets her first period so you have waited long enough. Also, as you may have seen I didn't update the family pictures. Since I plan on only doing one chapter for this age I didn't want to update the family pictures just to do it again after this chapter.

Victor's P.O.V

Walking down to the first floor of my home, I made my way over to my home hospital. I had it installed when Lily was born even though I should have had it installed a long time ago. Anyway, I walk inside to see Doc sitting at his desk but he quickly gets and nods in respect when I come into the room.

"You called." I stated taking a seat on one of the chairs provided in the room.

He sat back down and nodded. "Yes. I would like to talk to you about your daughter." he started and I gave him a questioning look. "She's fine and she's doing very well when she comes in on weekends. I just thought I'd let you know that...uh...now that she has turned thirteen she will start...uh..."

"Just spit it out!" I growled at him not liking how long he was taking.

"She should get her first period any time now, sir." he spitted out finally but the very words made me freeze. "She should be given the talk about it, preferably soon rather than later. Hopefully before she gets her first one. If you don't feel comfortable about telling her I can or I can contact a female doctor to come explain it to her." Doc continued.

"No, no I'll tell her. Uh, thank you Doc." I said getting up from my seat and walking out. The whole way up to my daughters room I kept trying to prepare what I am going to say to her, how I am going to tell her this.

Reaching her door, I take a deep breath and knock. I heard a faint 'come in', so I opened the door and closed it behind me. Lily sat on her window seat reading a book but once I walked in her focus was on me. "Hi daddy." she smiled and came over to me giving me a hug. Hugging her back, I place a kiss on the top of her head.

"Come on sweetheart, let's sit down I need to talk to you about something." I told her giving her a slight push to her bed. She sat down and I pulled her desk chair over and sat in front of her.

Taking a deep, and I mean deep breath, I begin. "So now that you're thirteen there is something you should know that happens at this age for girls."

"Dad." she spoke up before I could continue. "I already know about what happens every month."

"Oh thank god." I breathed out, my head falling into my hands relieved.

"Ya, I had to take a health class when I was still going to public school and the teacher went over it." she told me blushing a bit.

Glad that this over and done with I get up. Stopping at the door, I pause and look over at her, "Do you need any..."

Before I can finish she rushes out, "No, I can get one of the maids to get it." Nodding, I walk out and close the door behind me. Resting my back against it, I rub my hands over my face.

"What's the matter with you?" A voice asks interrupting me. Looking up I see Sylas standing there.

"Had to have the girl talk with your sister." I told him.

"Oh?" He said making a face. "Ooooh, that talk." his face showing he got what I was trying to say without having to say it.

"How'd it go?" he asks crossing his arms.

"Pretty good." his face morphed into a shocked face. "She had already learned about...it in a health class so I didn't have to explain anything." I said answering his unanswered question.

With that I made my way back to my office.
