Leon Keith

"Ivory Evans!" I hissed at her the second that she arrived at the venue. She smiled sweetly at me as she slipped her arm to mine.

"It's a party, Leon." She said and I grabbed a glass of champagne from the waiter to calm myself down. I turned to Ivory and then looked at her completely a little bit stress out.

"You need to get use to this." She said and then she linked her arm to mine again.

"I want to congratulate your parents." She said as she dragged me towards my parents. Today is dad's company 30rd year anniversary so he threw a really big party with all of his family and friends.

"Wesley! Marie! Congratulations!" Ivory hugged them and they both were so happy to see Ivory. My dad smirked at me and I sighed. My mom introduced her to her family and my dad stood beside me.

"When will you both get married? I can't wait."

"I rather taking it slow, everything is so new to me." I said as I took a sip of my champagne without taking my eyes off from her.

"I understand that you're taking it slow since you just got out from a relationship but I suggest you fasten up that pace."

"Why is that?"

"No one knows that you both are engaged. All of my family and friends only knew that you're hitting on her besides there's no ring attach to her finger." I turned to my dad and raised my eyebrows looking at him.

"Are you trying to play games with me?"

"Leon, there's only you, me, your mom and her family who knew that we arranged you both. I never told anyone that you and her are engaged and so was your mom." That explained why mom didn't introduce Ivory as my fiance. Ivory told me about this and that made sense now.

"The reason why we did that is because we want to respect your decision and Ivory's. You both might hate the idea of us making a statement about it so we decided to let you two decide for yourself." My dad said and I sighed.

"Everyone thinks that you and her only fooling around because all of the people here knew about you and Celine. I mean.. I'm only a dad here and I have no rights to tell everyone about your relationship with Ivory, right?" I drank all of my champagne and put it on the table beside us. I turned my head to find Ivory but she's nowhere so be found.

"Dad, I think you made a mistake by arranging me with Ivory."

"And why is that? I thought you like her already."

"I will die young is this saga continues." I said and my dad laughed. I tried to find Ivory with my eyes but I can't find her. I walked away from my dad and tried to find her. Where is that woman? She's always making me anxious from the second that I can't see her.

I stopped my track when I saw her talking with a bunch of men and they even took a picture together. I stood there observing her and I felt myself burning in jealousy looking at other men admiring her.

"What's wrong with me?" I asked myself silently because I'm pretty sure I never felt this before when I'm with Celine. She can assure me that she will act civil when Ivory can't assure me anything. She will make me anxious and have my heart beating so fast the second that she's not beside me.

I walked towards her and she saw me. I looked at her coldly and her expression changed that second. She walked over to me and looked at me confuse.

"What's wrong?" She asked and I looked up to the ceiling to calm myself. I'm trying to control myself so bad when I'm around her. She always successfully making me go nuts worrying about her.

"Leon, is everything okay?" She asked me once again and I decided to get some fresh air. I need a room to breath because every sincr Ivory entered my life, I can't find peace.

I always feel worried, jealous and protective over her. I never felt this when I'm with Celine. This burning sensation within me was so new to me and I couldn't control it. It's turning me into a mad man.

"Leon, is everything okay?" I turned to Ivory and I nodded.

"You want to go home?" She asked.

"Are you sick?" She put the back of her hand on my forehead. I took off my suit and put it around her body. I found her chuckling and I looked at her confuse.

"I like this side of you, it's interesting."

"What?" I hissed coldly at her and she cupped my face giving me a peck on my lips.

"I like it when you're worrying about me and being protective over me." I scoffed when she said that and she turned to the view chuckling.

"Don't blame me if I go bald, you made me go crazy." I hissed coldly.

"I never felt so lucky before in my life but I can say that I'm so lucky to have you as my fiance." She said and that made me turn to her.

"I never thought there's still a good and decent man like you out there."

"Did something bad happen in the past?" I asked her carefully.

"Not really, it's just I never met a man like you before." She turned to me and smiled.

"Apparently only us and our parents who knew about the arrangement." I said as I put my hands into my pocket.

"Really? So I'm still single?" I turned to her disbelief and she laughed.

"Not funny."

"It's funny." She chuckled and then she gave my suit back. She walked back into the ballroom and I chuckled looking at my suit. I put it back on and decided to walk back inside.

"Leon!" I turned to see some of my friends walking towards me.

"Dude, you need to tell me your secret how to find a woman like Ivory." I raised my eyebrows when my friend, Hugh, asked me that.

"Why?"

"She's amazing!" I know that but he didn't need to state that.

"How come you never tell us that you're engaged too?" I turned to Michael.

"You knew that we're engaged?" I asked him and Michael looked confuse.

"She introduced herself as your fiance to everyone."
