A/N: Woah, I'm finally updating this story lol. My exams start tomorrow so yeah, I won't have any time to post.

 It's a short chapter (it sucks, just sayin'), but next one will be longer :) 

Chapter 2: Neko Luffy?

Law helped Chopper examine Luffy, who was now sitting on the infirmary bed. It had been quite the shock for everyone. It's not every day that something like this happens. They all know that Luffy is reckless and stupid but that doesn't explain... This.

"So, you really don't know how this happened?" Law asked after the hundredth time, which Luffy replied with a shake of the head.

"It can't just have happened out of nowhere. Maybe it was a devil fruit user who turned you? No... That would be impossible... Something you ate perhaps?"

"I ate a lot of things torao, how am I supposed to remember everything?"

"Wait... h-hold on..." Chopper said as he noticed an empty bottle standing on his desk, "Luffy, you didn't happen to drink this, did you?" he asked while picking up the bottle and showing it to his captain.

"Ah yeah I did! It didn't taste very good though!" Luffy laughed while swinging his legs and tail.

Chopper yelped, "Luffy!! You weren't supposed to drink that!"

"Shishishi sorry!" The boy grinned innocently, not being sorry at all. Luffy didn't really care. His tail and ears were awesome!

Chopper saw Law raising an eyebrow, "He drank my prototype medicine! That explains the weird side-effects" he explained.

"You dumbass. Why the hell would you do that?" Law was glad that is wasn't anything serious, if it was a medicine then it means that it wasn't permanent. Still, how stupid could straw hat be?

 "It looked tasty." The boy shrugged, as if it was obvious.    

"Well anyway," The man sighed and turned to face the reindeer. "Tony-ya, when do you think the side effects will disappear?"

"A couple of days? A week maybe... I'm not sure, as I said, it was a prototype medicine, it wasn't supposed to be used yet." Chopper said and moved to where Luffy was sitting. "Luffy, is there anything else that changed except for the tail and ears?"

Luffy blinked his eyes a few times, "Well... everything looks... kinda different. I can't really place it, but things look sharper somehow."

"That does make sense. His features resemble that of a cat and cats do have sharper vision than humans." Law placed a hand under his chin as he looked at Luffy. This was something he'd never seen before.
