My clothes are everywhere and I just can't find the perfect outfit for this shit. Trey and Jeremy really had to decide the theme was Tight and Bright. Meaning we have to wear something tight and neon. Do I look like the type of bitch who has that? Rae and I are both destroying our closets to find anything at this point. Lacey is on her way over and hopefully, she has something bright and tight. Knowing her, she probably does. She is wearing the hot pink dress she bought on Thursday and now that I'm thinking about it, I should have bought that red one.

"Oh my god. I am deadass just going to stay in Robbie's room for the rest of the night," Rae says walking into my room. She is holding a neon green dress and an orange one. She is currently wearing a neon green dress that actually looks phenomenal on her. Tori glances away from doing her makeup and whistles.

"No you're not, wear that shit," Tori says. I nod my head at her as Rae walks up to our mirror. She studies her body in the dress. The back is completely open with spaghetti straps to hold it up. Her body is so fucking nice it's unfair. Make sense though since she is a cheerleader after all.

"Whatever, I'll wear it even if I look like a highlighter," she sighs turning back around. I laugh loudly shaking my head at her while Tori rolls her eyes before going back to her makeup. Tori is wearing a neon purple dress that compliments her skin tone amazingly. I think she might actually be glowing right now.

"I still have fucking nothing to wear," I huff turning back around to finish up my mascara. I am hoping and praying that Lacey has something for me to wear because at the moment all I have is a white dress. Said white dress makes me look like I'm going to church. I hear our dorm room door open in the hallway and a string of curse words.

"I swear to god if none of you need a dress," Lacey says loudly. I bolt out of my desk chair and into the hallway. I knew I could count on Lacey with her bright ass clothing. I spot a bright royal blue dress on the top and snatch it. Julie comes running out of her own room, curling iron in hand, grabbing two orange dresses.

"Lifesaver!" I yell giving her a quick hug before running back into my room. Lacey follows me into our room and drops the rest of the dresses onto the bed. Julie follows her in holding the two dresses with her curling iron still in tow.

"You both do not look ready enough for us to be pregaming in fifteen," Lacey comments sitting down in my desk chair. I shoot her glare throwing off my big sweatshirt. I slide the dress over my shoulders and realize just how skin-tight this bitch is. I shimmy it over my hips before turning to the mirror. The dress hugs me in all the right places and even allows me to actually look like I have boobs. The straps on the dress are clear so it looks like I don't have any and honestly is super cute.

"Damn. If I were Asher, I would say fuck the party," Tori whistles nodding her head in approval. I clap my hands together as Julie puts on the orange dress with a cutout in the middle. She looks super hot and suddenly I am totally appreciating this party.

"Wow, we are one hot-ass friend group," Rae says putting her hands on her hips proudly. I nod my head at her in agreement as Lacey starts dancing to Chris Brown holding a bottle of vodka.

"Shot time!" Lacey yells waving the bottle at me. I gladly take the bottle and grab our designated shot glasses. All of our shot glasses have some type of phrase that reminds each other of someone in the group. Mine says 'WTF' because I genuinely never have any clue what the hell is going on. I pour the shots to the very top and start handing out everyone's designated shot glasses.

"Oh fuck me," Rae mumbles holding the glass trying not to spill a drop. I hand the last one out to Julie as we all gather around with some random pop song playing.

"To making horrible decisions tonight," Tori says looking at Lacey and I specifically. I narrow my eyes at her and she sends me a cheeky smirk. Regardless of the cheers, I cheers with the girls and throw back the shot. The burning in my throat is welcomed and suddenly I realize how excited I am to get drunk.

That sounds terrible.

"That was terrible," Julie says jumping up and down on her bare feet. I laugh loudly at her as the rest of them grab their chasers. I set my shot glass back down and start making a mixed drink. Even though I just know they will have tons of alcohol at the pregame and even the party. Once again my nerves are all over the fucking place.

"Okay so Carter, Lacey, and Rae, are any of you coming home tonight?" Tori asks grabbing her bottle of rum. I look anywhere but Tori and Julie who wait for the three blind mice to answer. Me included in that notion.

"I am definitely not," Rae says slipping on a pair of heels. Lacey nods her head in agreement as I grab my own bottle of vodka that is sitting on my desk. Am I going home tonight? Lord only knows.

"Carter?" Julie asks expectantly. I pour lots of vodka into my plastic Starbucks cup before turning back to the girls.

"Um probably?" I say in more a question than a statement. All of them give me a very unconvincing look and I sigh loudly. "Okay probably not."

After the FaceTime call as well as flirty texts back and forth it's looking like I will stay at Asher's. Then again, I never know what the hell is up with him. Hell, I don't even know what's going through my own brain right now. I don't know if I like him or just like him as a friend, the hell if I knew.

"I need another shot," I mumble realizing I just totally zoned out of my friends conversation. I am stressing myself out for no reason. Asher and I are whatever and I'm going to let it be whatever for now. We drink and take a few more shots before heading out of our dorm. Pregaming at basketball is always an adventure and walking there helps me get my steps in.

No matter how much Lacey complains.

We walk up to the house and it's quiet although the flashing LED lights gives way to the pregame. I step up to the house first and walk in through the front door. Braden and Robbie are nothing talking to Sixer in what I think is their baby voices.

"Why are you talking to my dog like that?" I ask the two idiots. Braden and Robbie both look up with thankful looks as Sixer runs up to me. She barks happily at me as I pick her up off of the ground. I dropped her off to the boys this morning when Trey invited me to the pregame and party.

"Thank god, she is almost as big of a pain in my ass as you are," Robbie huffs looking at Rae. She makes an offended face but he kisses her lips quickly. Lacey heads over to Braden pecking his cheek on her tippy toes.

"Don't be mean to her, she's adorable," I say scratching behind her ear. She sticks her tongue out happily at me with another bark.

"All the girls love her but I knew you and Asher would probably kill us anything happened to her," Braden says wrapping an arm protectively around Lacey's waist. She looks genuine and happy tucked into his side and he looks as happy as I've ever seen Braden. "But mostly you."

"You are very right, I would kill all of you," I say petting Sixer. I glance around the room for Asher but don't find him.

"Asher's room door should still be open, he might be in there. Julie and Tori you guys can come to the kitchen and make the fucking jungle juice," Robbie says nodding his head in the direction of the kitchen. Tori and Julie walk past me giving me thumbs up as I roll my eyes. I am not sleeping with Asher right before the party.

Actually maybe I wouldn't put it past me.

"God knows we should not let Trey fucking do it," Braden states shaking his head. Lacey giggles at Braden bringing a smile to my face. I hope she can tell that I like Braden a hell of a lot better than I like Michael. He is a first class douchebag and while Braden can have his moments he gives me different vibes.

"Okay, I'll be down in a second," I say making my way towards the stairs. Braden and Lacey nod their heads before heading to a group sitting in the family room. They have yet to push the couches out of the way so I'm going to assume they are making the freshman do it. Jeremy is in there staring at two dudes trying to pick up a coffee table and failing. I laugh slightly and shoot him a wave.

"I'm in the mix of fucking idiots!" Jeremy says running a hand through his hair. The two guys look at him offended putting the coffee table back down. They all begin bickering back and forth making me shake my head. All the girls sitting on the couch look bored out of their mind and are wearing tighter dresses than mine. Which says a lot.

I ignore them and head up the stairs. Most of the doors are closed but Asher's is wide open. I walk up to the open door and see him leaning over his desk scribbling something down with a pen cap into his mouth. I lean against the door frame with Sixer staring at him concentrating. He looks so good, he is wearing a tight white shirt with light washed jeans. His arm muscles pull the material showing off his tanned arms that are scattered with tattoos. I put Sixer down and she runs up to Asher jumping up on his leg.

"Hey, Six, just give me a second," he says looking down at her then back at the piece of paper in front of him. He places the pen down continuing to stare at the paper and pets her head before grabbing the pen again. I lightly clear my throat and his head shoots up from the piece of paper. His brown eyes turn a couple shades darker as he drags his eyes up and down my outfit.

"Did I follow the theme correctly?" I ask posing in the doorway. He nods his head as he caps his pen and makes his way over to me. Asher holds me tight against his body his hot breath fanning across my neck. I just know I'm not going home tonight by the way the two of us are pushed up against each other. I can feel his muscles underneath his tee-shirt only making me inch closer.

"Fuck, this might be one of Trey's greatest dumbest ideas yet," he says his voice low. I chuckle at him wrapping my arms around his neck. Suddenly I am very, very happy I took those four shots before coming here. Plus a couple of drinks.

"Why didn't you follow the theme?" I ask him in a teasing manner. He chuckles rubbing his jaw with his free hand looking down at me. Even though this shirt is doing him all types of justice.

"Cause I thought it was dumb," he says looking me up and down. My stomach does flips as he stares at me so intently like there aren't thirty other girls downstairs. "I definitely don't think it's dumb right now."

"Alright down boy. Let's get drunk shall we?" I ask him slowly trailing my hand down his arm. I can feel his muscles tense at my touch. He inches closer to me before ducking his head to peck my lips. He pulls away all too soon before stepping away.

"Let me just finish this sentence and then we can go," he says nodding his head towards the paper on the desk. Sixer as made herself comfortable on his bed as she rest her nose on her paws. I nod my head at Asher making my way to Sixer.

"What are you doing anyways?" I ask him as I lay down on his bed next to Sixer. I make sure to cross my legs so I don't flash Asher or anyone walking past his room. I can feel Asher looking at me making me raise my head at him. He is smirking down at me mischievously and I roll my eyes looking back up at the ceiling.

"Some stupid history shit," he states. I nod my head at him as Sixer's warm body nudges towards me. I could definitely fall asleep right about now. "Thanks for bringing Sixer up. I told Braden to do it but clearly he's a fucking idiot."

I laugh a little thinking about how I found him and Robbie. I feel the bed dip and turn my face to look at Asher. He is leaning on his elbow looking down at me with a smile.

"Your roommates were just yelling at her and she just sat there looking at them. She's just too smart," I say patting her head. He laughs a little shaking his head at me.

"Alright, Miller. Let's go," he says sitting up from his position. He offers me a hand and I gladly take it ignoring the butterflies I feel when we touch. Asher reaches across me petting Sixer a bye before we get up. I pull the dress down a bit before following Asher out of his room. He pulls out a key and shuts the door behind us, locking it. I grab his hand and lead him down the stairs. I feel his eyes on my but making me smirk even harder. He is just so easy to tease.

"You're fucking killing me, Miller," he says following me towards the kitchen. I turn around and shoot him a smirk. Everyone seems to still be in there minus Braden, Lacey, and Jeremy. I take note of the fact that Michael has now joined the party. I make a face before turning away from him. Asher lightly pulls me back glancing down at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"I don't like Michael," I state simply as we walk through the open kitchen door hand in hand. He glances back at Michael, who has taken note of the two of us. Asher gives him a curt nod while Michael returns it with holding up his beer and a pervy smirk. "See, he does shit like that."

"I know," Asher says pulling me a little closer to him. He doesn't acknowledge it but I can tell he feels the same way. I understand why he can't flat out say it because it's his teammate and you aren't suppose to hate teammates. Now I definitely need more alcohol. Tori and Julie are sitting at the bar that opens up to the living room talking to some boys. While Rae is sitting on the counter helping Robbie and Trey make the jungle juice. The two of them seem to be arguing with each other about god knows what. I scan the hard liquor section of the counter for shots.

"Pineapple New Am is my shit," I say holding the bottle up. Trey points at me with a bright smirk as he jumps towards us. The kid is already drunk and holding an orange juice bottle filled with jungle juice.

"I knew it! I vividly remember seeing you at a party first semester holding a fifth of it," he says pointing at me. I give him a look and he shrugs his shoulders at me. "Don't get it twisted, Miller. You're like my sister."

"Keep it that way," Asher says wrapping an arm around my waist. My back is flush against his abs and I lean against him with a smirk. Trey makes a disgusted face before flipping the cap off of the New Am and chugging. I laugh loudly as he hands me the bottle next. I sigh looking at the bottle and looking at Trey, who seems to be trying not to throw up, before bringing the bottle to my lips.

I chug from the bottle ignoring the burning in the back of my throat. I hear Tori and Trey yelling 'chug' before pulling it away from my lips. I resist the urge to make a face but shake my head to get the fucking taste out of my mouth. I turn around in Asher's arm and wiggle the bottle at him.

"Drink me," I say showing him the bottle. He chuckles at me before grabbing it from me with his free hand. I watch as he brings the bottle to his own lips and I watch as he chugs the vodka with his jawline on full display. I have never seen someone so hot when they chug, but damn. He sets the bottle back down behind me and shakes his head.

"That shits gross," he states with a cringe. I nudge him with my shoulder and smirk at him.

"You're a pussy," Robbie chimes in grabbing the New Am from behind me. Asher offers him a middle finger making me laugh at the two of them. Rae is holding a cup of Jungle Juice as she is scooping another red Solo cup into the big bin again.

"Shut the hell up and get me some jungle juice," Asher says extending his free hand to Robbie. Robbie responds with an eye roll before handing him a cup. Rae nudges Robbie's broad shoulder before extending a cup to him. He hands the one to me and I happily take it.

"Can we please fucking play a drinking game?" Jeremy says walking into the kitchen. A few other girls and guys follow behind him as he goes to stand on the other side of the table that is set up in the kitchen. Trey holds up a big bag of cups and I almost croak over right then and there. Flip cup. We always seem to be playing flip cup with these boys.

"Oh say less," Braden says walking into the kitchen last. I raise my eyebrows at him seeing no Lacey behind him. He looks behind him and then back at me. Braden walks backwards a few strides and looks out of the kitchen. Asher tugs me towards the table, I stand on the side closest to me and Asher goes on the other side. I glance back at Braden who is sulking back as he goes to stand next to me, shooing away some random girl.

"Your friend is fucking annoying," he says as I bring up the cup of jungle juice to my lips. If I have to talk Braden and Lacey I need to drink.

"I know," I say genuinely. He huffs grabbing my jungle juice from my hands making me gasp. "Braden!"

"Shut up," he says drinking from the cup with a smirk. I make an annoyed face and turn around to grab another cup. I drink some more from my new cup as Braden slams the empty one onto the table. A few people jump and Trey makes a face at him.

"Not the table, Bitch," he says handing Braden and I am empty cup. Trey glances between the two of us and then at Asher who is just as confused.

"He's pissed because - well I'm assuming, that Lacey is talking to Michael," I mutter into my cup. Braden nods his head reaching into his back pocket. He pulls out a beer and cracks it open.

"Bro fucking Lacey, what is her deal?" Trey ask standing next to Braden. Robbie stands on my other side with Rae across from him. Julie is on Asher's team along with Tori and a few other guys from the basketball team.

"The fuck if we knew," Tori says. Everyone turns to look at her and she is paying no mind to any of us. She must feel our stares because she is looking at us with wide eyes. "Did I say that out loud?"

"Yeah T, you did," Julie says patting Tori's shoulder. She makes an 'oops' face but shrugs her shoulders. She's right what in the fuck is she doing.

"Enough fucking talk about this, let's play flip," Braden snaps. I turn back to face Asher with wide eyes and drink some more jungle juice.

"I am feeling very hostile vibes right now and I don't like it," Trey says glancing at our group. Who by the way are the only people willing to play flip cup besides the few random basketball boys.

"I would like to second that Trey," Rae says holding up her hand. I chuckle at her because I can tell by the way she is swaying she is drunk or getting there. "Hey you, Bitch, you're going down."

I laugh even harder as she points at Robbie. He places a hand on his chest looking around as if he didn't know she was talking to him.

"Carter and I are going kick all your asses," Robbie says wrapping an arm around my shoulder. Asher is now laughing too while Rae looks offended. Asher's dark eyes widen as Rae, surprisingly, shoved him off of balance.

"No we are, right Asher?" Rae asks. At this point Asher is laughing way too hard and I can't help but smile at him. He is so relaxed and genuine. I love seeing him like this.

Woah, not love.
