#1 - The Institution and What It Did

The Institution is an...institution, where children born into the heart of the mafia are sent to become killing machines. As you know, Cristiano and Harlow were sent here and, like all patients from The Institution, were injected with a serum that lingers in the body and alters them physically and mentally.

I'm not going to talk about the emotions thing because that has been explained. The things people are mostly hung up about are the physical things. In the book, Harlow gets pregnant and finds out about the twins the morning after they are conceived. Also, she got a tattoo while pregnant. I know this isn't possible. Trust me, I know. However, this is possible in the book because The Institution made her and Cristiano somewhat superhuman. Her body is hyper-aware of shit that happens to it and her immune system is crazy. Hence why she says at one point she's never been sick for longer than a day. Infections from body modification is nothing for her.

#2 - Idk what else to put so TEAAA ☕

Zach liked Harlow the whole book up until he started seriously dating Gia. Which is why he was a little bit on the nonchalant side about her plan to break up with Cristiano and why he was annoyed that one time when he walked in on Cristiano shirtless being flirty with Harlow.
