Edward's POV

"Oh my god Edward" Ashima's sweet voice ringed in my ears.

"Edward" she called out again tapping on my shoulder when she didn't got a response from me.

Well.

She is disturbing me now.

"Yes" I finally replied while still kissing her neck down to her collarbone slowly.

"Get off me now" she said.

What.

I frowned at her.

"You don't remember what it is today, do you?" she asked.

Oh shit!

Am I forgetting something and suddenly many events that are special to us ran in my head like a movie but as much as I remember none of them took place on today's date.

So what is it special about today?

"It's not your birthday, it's not your little devil's birthday, it's not our wedding anniversary so what is it" I asked her.

"It's cricket world cup final today and it's about to start so get off me I don't wanna miss it" she replied lightly pushing me aside "And if I do miss it because of you then you are sleeping on the couch tonight" she added.

What! No way.

I shook my head in denial at the thought of sleeping on the couch.

"Oh come on is it more important then what we were doing" I said rolling my eyes sounding bored.

"Yes it is" she replied grinning as she turned the TV on and soon got involved in watching the match as if I was not even sitting right beside her.

Seriously.

Now a cricket match is more important to her then her husband.

Great.

I sighed but also smiled seeing her fully focused on the match...she looks cute when she's fully focused on something.

Sometimes we get into silly fights on which cricket team is best, of course she always supports team India and I always lose against her in that argument.

But anyways I like to lose against her because that smile she gives me after proving me wrong is the most beautiful and precious thing in the world for me.

I can do anything for that smile.

It's been five blissful years since our marriage...six years of togetherness well almost seven, we got married few months after I proposed her. Her dad was adamant about getting his daughter married according to their rituals and traditions so in the end we got married in both the ways and my granny attended our wedding too and I'm happy that she too loves Ashima.

"Wow it's a six Virat Kohli is the best you know" I snapped out of my thoughts on hearing her cheerful voice.

And here she goes on and on about him.

"Okay enough he's a good cricketer but there's no need to talk so much about him" I interrupted her.

"Why not after all there's so much to talk about him, he's so handsome" she replied looking at me from the corner of her eyes.

I know she said that last part just to irritate me and she perfectly succeeded in that as I rolled on top of her capturing her lips to stop her from talking any further.

"There are a lot of good looking man in the world but you have already got yours and you are stuck with him forever so just think about him and no one else" I said jealousy clearly dripping from my voice, pulling away as she just laughed at me.

"Oh God, she just kicked" she said suddenly placing my hand on her seven months pregnant belly and I smiled feeling our daughter's light kicks.

"See I think she too likes Virat Kohli" she added smiling teasingly as I just rolled my eyes.

"Okay now let's get back to what we were doing previously" I replied as she smiled but before anyone could do anything a little voice interrupted us.

"Mama...dada" Austin our three years old son called out running into our room holding a book in his hands.

See this is Ashima's little devil, she hates it when I call him that. Sometimes he's an obedient kid but sometimes he's really naughty and mischievous but I love this mini me anyways.

Wait I locked the door, didn't I?

"Mama can I sleep with you tonight" he asked rubbing his eye.

"Oh no boy you can't, you see mama and dada got some important work to do" I replied grinning at my beautiful wife as she just glared at me before hitting on my arm lightly, perfectly knowing what I meant by 'important work'.

"Of course baby, come here" she said to Austin as he excitedly jumped on the bed and sat between us as I gave Ashima a 'this is not fair look' and she just shrugged innocently.

"Dada will you read me a story" he asked with a cute innocent smile that showed a missing tooth, while handing me the story book.

Though he looks like me but he has definitely got that smile from his mother which can melt my heart in any situation.

So I read him a story.

"And then the dragon..." I stopped reading when I saw that not only Austin but Ashima fell asleep too, while cuddling each other.

My little man is such a cuddle bear just like his mama, I thought to myself as my lips twitched up in a smile.

I tucked the duvet over them while kissing both of their foreheads and soon drifted off to sleep with my little cuddle bear family.

The next morning.

Ashima's POV

"So how's my niece" Vihaan's wife Olivia asked "I can't wait to have my own kids" she added smiling placing her hand on my belly.

"Hey sis how are you and my little princess doing" Vihaan said ruffling my hair to which I frowned at him for spoiling my hair as he just grinned.

I'm glad he has finally found his happiness which is his wife Olivia, she's really nice and we became friends so quickly. They got married recently and I'm so happy for my brother.

"Mommy come on grandpa's here" we chuckled as we heard Austin's voice, he is always excited when everyone gets together. My dad, both of my brothers and Olivia come at our place whenever they are free to spend time with Austin, they all love him.

He's so adorable after all I love him so much, Edward says his smile is same like mine but other than that he looks more like him then me. I was beyond happy when I got to know that I was pregnant a year after our marriage, though I had to leave my job because it was not suitable for me anymore but I'm not at all sad for leaving my work because surely it was my dream job but there's always a perfect timing for everything and I lived my dream in that time and the family I have today was also my dream so I'm living that right now.

But I'll start working somewhere else again after my little baby girl is born and after both of my kids start going to school because it's only then when I'll be a little bit free.

Because handling two kids and a husband that is no different than a kid sometimes...is not an easy work to do.

"Let's go before he personally drags each of us out" Olivia's voice snapped me out of my trance as we chuckled again walking out of the kitchen to the dining room for breakfast.

"Good Morning love" Edward said as he came and sat on the chair beside me.

"Morning" I replied as he quickly gave me a kiss without anyone noticing and then smiled cutely as I smiled back.

I glanced at my family as they were eating and laughing at something Austin said.

That's what I have always wanted...a happy family, of course there are ups and downs but that's what life is and as long as I have my family and my love with me I'm ready to face anything in life.

"Thank you..." I said looking at Edward only to find him already gazing at me.

"I have heard that 'thank you' speech of yours a hundred times in the last six years" he interrupted me while chuckling as I laughed a little too.

"I love you" I said holding his hand.

"Well now that's what I'll never get tired of hearing because I love you too" he replied looking in my eyes entwining our fingers.
