Edward's POV

"Hey beautiful wake up" I whispered sitting beside her on her bed and smiled as she mumbled "Just five minutes more" still in her sleep but suddenly opened her eyes wide maybe now she realized that it's me.

"What are you doing here at this time...it's twelve" she asked in a low voice while sitting up looking around to see if someone was there or not.

"Happy birthday love" I said kissing her forehead and hugged her as she looked surprised.

"Oh it's my birthday I almost forgot about it...thank you though" she replied hugging me back.

I chuckled, I mean who on earth forgets their own birthday but maybe she forgot because of her work load and all. She got her job back just few months ago, she was so happy after all she does loves working.

"But wait don't tell me you got in by the window or something like that" she asked pulling away.

"No why would I do that" I shrugged.

"You do realize that I don't stay at my apartment anymore right what if my dad saw you" she asked panicked.

Right she moved to her dad's house, her old home just about four five months back. I still can't forget that happiness which I saw in her eyes that day when she met her dad again. After she apologized to him I just left them alone to give them some time.

I'm happy that they sorted out everything. She told her dad about our relationship too and he accepted it for his daughter's happiness and also because somehow he feared that he would lose her again, but still he wouldn't like me visiting her this late because he is just like any other father would be.

Overprotective.

And that's the reason of her sudden panic.

"Edward" she called out pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Chill I already took his permission" I replied and she visibly relaxed.

"As much as I remember I didn't tell you about my birthday so how did you know" she asked with a frown.

"Oh by your brother Kunal" I replied grinning as she made a face hearing his name.

Her relation with him has improved too but still sometimes well all the times they keep fighting like Tom and Jerry like every other brother and sister.

It feels so good to see her this happy, she has finally got her family back which she always craved for.

"What are you thinking" I heard her voice.

"Nothing I'm just happy to see you happy" I replied smiling.

"What" I asked as she was looking at me weirdly after a second of smiling back.

"Are you planning to sleep here" she replied sarcastically pointing at her bed.

"Great idea" I said grinning "But I don't think we'll be sleeping if we be this close" I added as a pink blush rouse upon her cheeks instantly.

"Go now" she said trying to hide her smile.

"What! See you don't love me anymore" I replied with a fake hurt expression.

"Just look at the time my drama King...I'm sleepy" she said yawning.

"Okay I'll leave but first I need a kiss" I replied.

"You..." she was about to say something but I interrupted her by placing my lips on hers.

Oh god, it's been almost a year since we got into a relationship but still every time I kiss her it feels like we are kissing for the first time, though we have not done 'it' yet because I didn't wanted to rush things.

But sometimes I...in fact we both almost lost control on ourselves but still didn't cross the line, I pushed all these thoughts out of my head and pulled away remembering that I should really leave now because she looks quite tired.

"I'll see you tomorrow...love you" I said.

"Love you too" she whispered back as I walked out after kissing her forehead again.

Tomorrow is a big day for me, I hope everything goes well.

Ashima's POV

"Happy birthday Ashi" Vihaan said giving me a small box as we all sat in the dining room having dinner together.

I said a thank you as Kunal wished me too but didn't brought any gift for me.

As expected, I shook my head.

I opened the box that Vihaan gave me and chuckled to see the same earrings as my dad gave me this morning.

"You both gifted me the same looking earrings" I said as the both looked at eachother surprised before chuckling "Thanks it was not needed though" I added.

"Oh come first we wanted to throw a party but you cancelled it and now..." my dad trailed off shaking his head.

"Where's Edward anyways I thought that you would be with him all day" Kunal said and I glared at him.

Did he just had to remind me about him although he was in my head already so there's no point in reminding.

I sighed, actually he came last night and wished me and all but the entire day he didn't even call me once.

And here I thought that I'll spend my day with him.

Huh, stupid.

"Hey everyone, I hope the birthday girl has not eaten already" suddenly I heard his voice.

"I'm sorry I was busy with something all day" he apologized giving me his cute look as we all looked at him.

"Come on let's go" he said when I was about to say something.

After debating with myself that if I should go with him or stay home showing my anger but in the end the cute sorry look he was giving me melted my heart and I decided to go with him so I walked to my room to change and got ready quickly.

"I'll be back soon" I said to them all as my dad nodded and we walked out.

Though I don't know where he is taking me.

"I'm so sorry I was just caught up in work" he said as we sat in a fancy restaurant having dinner together.

"It's really fine how many times will you apologize now" I rolled my eyes.

"Are you done" he asked after a while as I nodded and he led me...wait where are we going now I thought we were leaving but instead he is leading me to the rooftop of the restaurant.

"Edward why are..." I said but stopped when I saw the rooftop decorated with my favorite flowers and candles everywhere.

Oh my god.

This all is looking so beautiful in this moon light.

"This is so beautiful" I murmured almost to myself.

I didn't heard anything from him for a while so I turned around to see what's wrong.

And my breath hitched.
