Edward's POV

"Hey Edward wake up" I heard a familiar male voice calling me as I was sleeping with my arms wrapped around something soft.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked beside me and realized that the something soft is nothing else but Ashima. She is looking so peaceful and innocent while sleeping. I placed the hair strands behind her ear which were coming on her face and disturbing her sleep because of the wind.

I looked at her with admiration, then my gaze moved to her lips and again I felt the urge to kiss those lips. I couldn't stop myself and cupped her face leaning down to her lips and just as I was about to kiss her a familiar voice interrupted me.

"Hey wait wait wait" and I turned to the other side to see who is the source of the voice disturbing me and I was surprised to see Mack standing there.

"Morning romance huh" he teased.

"How dare you all left us alone here" I said while getting up and facing him.

"It was just a mistake we didn't do it intentionally" he replied with an extra innocent face and now I'm feeling like he has something to do with us being left here alone but before I could ask something Ashima's voice interrupted me.

"Now you have gone that crazy that you are talking to yourself" she said sitting up while yawning.

"I was talking to Mack not to myself" I replied while rolling my eyes.

"Hey Ashima" Mack said waving his hand.

"Oh my god you came to help us so sweet of you, Edward now we can get out of here I'm so happy" Ashima replied suddenly with so much energy and squealing with happiness.

"He's not that sweet Ashima" I said not liking the attention she was giving him.

"Are you feeling jealous my dear friend" Mack whispered to me so that Ashima won't hear him.

"Me jealous, in your dreams" I replied arrogantly.

"Have you both finished your talking can we leave now" Ashima interrupted us and soon we left the island in the hovercraft in which Mack came.

"Now tell me you were behind all this am I right" I asked in a low whisper as me and Mack were sitting together in the hovercraft while Ashima was sitting a little away from us.

"I was behind what" he asked acting all innocent.

"We'll talk about this once we are back" I replied as now Ashima was looking at us with a little suspicious and I don't want her listen to our conversation.

Soon we reached and now we are sitting in the car as the driver is driving towards Ashima's place and Mack was sitting beside the driver's seat as me and Ashima are sitting in the back seat and suddenly I'm feeling sad because our beautiful journey ended so soon.

Now we'll be back to our normal lives. In these three four days its like I have became habitat to see her around me all the time and now suddenly I won't get to see her and this thought is not settling well with me.

I snapped out of my thoughts as the car came to a halt. I saw Ashima getting out of the car before saying bye to me and Mack but I also quickly got out before she can leave and pulled her aside a little far from the car because I don't want an audience listing to our conversation.

For a moment we didn't say anything we kept looking in each other's eyes.

"Do you want to talk about something" she asked breaking our eye lock and the silence between us.

"Yeah I just wanted to thank you for coming with me and acting as my girlfriend and I...I really enjoyed the time I spend with you I didn't thought that this trip will be a memorial one for me but it is somehow and I..." I trailed off not knowing what to say now to stop her for some more time with me.

"I also enjoyed this journey although in the start I thought that I would not but still I enjoyed it" she replied chuckling a little then giving me a smile she continued "I should leave now" but I stopped her by hugging her tight suddenly as she was taken aback but after few seconds she hugged me back.

"And one more thing I don't regret being left alone with you on the island" I whispered in her ears as she pulled away and gave me a genuine smile before walking away in a hurry and I stood there staring at her retreating figure.

I wanted to stop her but I couldn't do that because I have no reason and most of all no right to stop her.

"Edward" Mack called as I was still standing at my position but I snapped out of my trance and got into the car as the driver drove towards my place.

"Why are you looking so sad man" Mack asked.

"Nothing I'm not sad, just tired" I lied and closed my eyes leaning my head against the seat.

What are you doing to me Ashima.

Ashima's POV

I closed the door behind me and leaned against it as I got into my apartment. Why am I suddenly feeling sad, it's strange only few days back I wanted to be away from him and now when everything is back to normal I'm back to my normal life, now when he is away from me then why am I feeling like this journey should have lasted a little longer.

The way he talked to me few minutes back felt like he was trying to stop me for a little longer and then what he whispered in my ear made me kind of happy but I left in a hurry because I don't want him to affect me anymore the way he is doing already and the more important thing is that I don't want to fall for him.

If I'll be around him anymore now I'm afraid I won't be able to stop myself from falling for him any longer.

"What are you doing to me Edward" I whispered while placing my hand on my heart which is beating fast more then usual.
