I slipped into my seat of a plane as the pilot who had flown us here looked for Nolan. Distress was wiped all over my face.

"Mrs, is Mr. Clementé not joining us tonight?", he asked me seeing my teary eyes. I couldn't believe where I was, I was running again. I ran every time, every moment it got to close and I never thought I'd be running from him.

"No, he had some business to take care of, he's very busy", I looked out the window as he went back to the pilots chamber and there I was alone. The phone rang again, and again and each time I checked it was him, using my phone. I shut the phone off as the ring on my finger snapped against my dress and I knew that he knew more than I did or someone did. I called the one person who could cave and tell me what I needed to hear.

"Tyler I know. And I need you to tell me, everything where were they last seen, where was her last foster home, have they raided the house yet, and why did Nolan find out and not tell me", my annoyance turned into crying as tears seeped from my eyes.

"I.. I can't tell you I want to, but I can't, let me patch Nolan in he can tell you if he wants", they made it seem like it was something about him. Something I didn't need to know, but they didn't realize my whole life depended on their stupid actions. I shut the phone off and called the person who started all of this.

"Boss? boss is that you, I'm so sorry", he weeped into the phone as I could tell he was a new worker, or very terrified of Nolan.

"I need you to tell me everything you know or else I will tell Nolan what happened, do you understand. I want everything sent to this email address and I won't tell anyone about this understood", I spoke quietly. The last thing I wanted was to scare him, but I knew he feared him just as much as I hated him.

He hung up the phone agreeing to what I had said and the email began blowing up, with articles, photos and now I realized what he was doing. He was taking me away from America this was his plan, he didn't want me watching the news, he didn't want me to know he had escaped as it had been all over the news. He was selfish, and as I saw the date that marked the first call, it was our wedding day. He dragged me all over the world saying he wanted more time when really he just didn't want me to know. He let me be selfish while my sister could be tortured somewhere. He had grown up with love. I had grown into fear.

Everything was here, her last home, her school, her grades, even her report card, I hadn't seen any of this I didn't know she had a paper trail, I didn't know she won the science fair in 3rd grade, I didn't know she never missed a day of school. All of this he kept from me for what.

"Miss, Miss are you all right?", the stewardess asked me as I scrolled through the phone and tears weeped from my cheek.

"Yes yes I'm all right, you look exhausted why don't you sit down get a drink for yourself?", I suggested as she listened to me and poured a drink for her and also me.

"You look like you need it", she handed it to me as I thanked her. His phone went off again, and as I checked it it was still him.

"Mrs. Clementé, I have Mr. Clementé on the phone, he'd like to talk to you", he had gone this far. He hadn't told me the truth but here he was using his employees to fall beneath his path. He handed me the phone as the stewardess left the room.

"Where the hell are you going?", he said annoyed and he seemed still tired. He was mad, no way he wasn't.

"I'm going to Spain, isn't that where you wanted to go, to what spend more time together", I asked him, knowing I was done with his attitude I was ready to hang up at any moment, I just wanted to hear I'm sorry, something that he would only say when it caught up to him.

"Don't play games with me Nat", he said coldly as he didn't understand how he wasn't protecting me, I knew them the best than anyone could, and yet they really thought I would trust their hands with my sister.

"What like you did with me", I said as he snarled. His cold expressions over the phone made me shrivel in my seat, when we needed each other we were always the first ones to tear each other apart.

"Natalie this isn't a game", he tried to assure me, but I was far from being pulled down from y strong stance.

"Trust me I know my sisters life is depending on it, and yet you didn't think to involve me, you let me spend my life living glamorously while my sister is being held captive and you didn't have the decency to tell me",

"Just let me explain-", he said as I heard the regret behind his voice. I interrupted him knowing his explanation meant nothing. I wasn't a princess in a castle, I've witnessed violence I've seen it, he didn't need to protect me from anything.

"No let me explain something you hid something from me, you made me promise no secrets and while you made me promise you, you were keeping something for me", it broke my heart he had made me promise and yet there he was running his own organization right behind my back.

"What are you planning to do when you get to Seattle you can't possibly go after him", the regret was gone as we tore each other down completely.

"I love you, but I have to do this, whether you trust me whether you love me you have to let me do this, I need your help and I'm still mad at you but I'm asking that you put our differences aside", I tried to reason with him, I still loved him and I trusted him, but he didn't trust me and it was inevitably true that I was a liar in his eyes and that's all I was.

"I love you and I need you but you can't do this on your own", he said as I heard the regret in his voice.

"I'll be able to find him, hopefully before he finds me", I hung the phone up and handed it to the captain as I looked down at the lights wishing time passed by faster.

"I know where they are", I told myself calmly as I recognized the disheveled area in the back of the image he had sent me. My old home, the one we lived in at the beginning. My mother spoke very fond of it as she said it was the last place she had ever felt love for Daniel and I completely belived her. It was when he was starting his business and she was there for home every second of the way, but when he rose to fame he forgot about her and ended up discarding us to the side.

"Ma'am we have a few more hours to go, I suggest you sleep, you look very tired", she said in her calmest of manners. My eyes began to get dreary as I followed her suggestion and shut my eyes. My head spiraled from Nolan to Melody, I needed to hug her to find her to spend time with her. I missed her, I had never met her, but from the pictures she was beautiful.

"Ma'am, we've arrived", she woke me up softly as I thanked her and left the plane. I called a cab going back to the apartment. Nolan had to have a gun somewhere. The cab ride was gloomy as the rain poured down. The sun was setting and the night set in just as I arrived at our home. I went up the elevator, as his phone rang.

I declined the call knowing exactly who it was, he couldn't help me and he knew that.

I searched and rummaged through his desks, not a single gun in sight. The door of the office swung open as Mr. Johnson pointed his gun at me and then put it away.

"Mrs, I didn't know you were home", he said in surprise as I looked at the gun that he held in his hands.

"W-would you mind if I had that, I promise no more surprises", he handed me the gun and some ammunition without asking a single question.

"Thank you",I told him as he slipped back into the bedroom he and the Mrs, resided in. This was their getaway place from their kids and now it was all theirs.

"Be safe ma'am" he spoke softly as I nodded my head leaving the room. I jumped into the elevator feeling the weight of a persons life on my shoulders. I wanted to call Nolan, but I knew Daniel's rules and I knew what would happen if I didn't follow them. I shared my location with him and began recording the audio.

The cab was still waiting there as I directed them to the old, shack that I used to live in. I paid them, with a hefty tip and cash, knowing this money would be in no help when I entered. The cab drove away as I looked at the dimly lit shack, the ground was covered in dirt along the path and the electrical cords were sniped outside. I opened the door holding the gun hoisted close to me as I looked back and forth behind me. My breathing became rushed. I could feel someone in the shadows.

"I was wondering when you would show up, I saw the pictures of your wedding, what a shame your own ole dad couldn't walk you", I pointed the gun at him as he taunted me.

"Where is she?", I asked him simply not wanting to play his tortuous games. He let out a hefty laugh that created bumps of fear along my exposed skin.

"Who would we be talking about, again it's just been a while since I've seen you, I would think you would want to catch up, but I see you mean business so we should get to it", he said as he pointed at my gun that aimed straight at him.

"Where is she ?", I asked again raising my voice. He was surprised, I never spoke to him, I was afraid of him.

"Now, Now, calm down, didn't your mother teach you never to raise your voice at your father", he said sternly as I felt the goosebumps realign against my skin.

"Show me where she is or I'll shoot you right now", I aimed my gun at him as he taunted me he was sick, sick in the head.

"You wouldn't shoot your dear father, after all I've done for you, I may be messed up but I'm still your father and deep down you love me, because I'm the only you have or so you thought", he added as he was right one thing he was right about was this. I couldn't shoot him he had the answers, he was sick and he needed help.

"Works every time", he let out a hefty laugh as I re-aimed the gun and he sharply joked around like he was a clown.

"To answer your question your sister isn't here, but you my dear are and she will be let go if I acquire something more valueable", he moved my hair away from my cheek as he smiled at me. I shuddered in disgust as I heard his laugh.

"What is more valuable, I'll give you anything money, I'll take the evidence away and I'll drop the charges", I explained the the things he could possibly want not knowing what was really on his mind.

"You, my dear you are worth more than ribbons and gold, you are the spitting image of your mother, I loved her but she could never forgive me for what I had done, or how I changed she would say", his words shocked me as his fingers traced my jawbone.

"I'll go with you anywhere if you let her go and I get to see her",he looked at me surprised of my nonexistent enthusiasm. He smiled at me as he clapped his hands.

"Marvelous, just marvelous, that's all you request, I will surely give you time, but once we leave there will be no contact with the outside world and if you do I will slice her throat with no hesitation", he swore and I was afraid of what he had, something about the way he hadn't cursed me off at the first drop of us being alone. He was prideful and confident.

He had other things in mind for this road trip he planned, he doused the place in gasoline and threw a match in it, as he grabbed my hand and ran out. I looked back at the place I had gone to many times, when I had felt so lost.

Tears fell down my cheek as he smiled happily. He was deranged and mental, he was different from the last time I had seen him. Different was far from it.

"Why did you burn it down?", I asked him as he drove with one hand and wiped the other with his hand after he placed his hand on my thigh, which I moved closer to the edge of the car.

"Old memories, you could say were starting new and fresh, isn't that what you wanted to forget about everything?", he asked me as his hand grasped my thigh. This wasn't Daniel, the man I once called my father.

"I don't want that, I don't", I cried silently clinging to the door.

"Lorelai I burnt the cabin down to get rid of Melissa, she didn't love me like you do, now we can go and run away together you and me", he had stopped the car as he held both of my hands. His words struck me as he called me my mother's name. Melissa was in the cabin, she was in their.

"I'm not my mom, I'm your daughter look at me dad", I said trying to sympathize with him, but it never seemed to work as he slapped my cheek.

"Stop playing with me Lorelai, you play these ridiculous games", he kept driving as a feeling crept upon me. I understood why he was being so nice, and I never wanted to think about this again. His sly hand crept against my thigh, he had the power over me, but as soon as my sister was free, he was a dead man.
